So this is the Dance Room. Where Dance Class takes place and also where you can rehearse dance routines. (But only dance. No fire breathers or tightropes or anything stunt related. You practice those type of things in the Practice Ring)

Nᴀᴏᴍɪ Pɪᴇʀᴄᴇ "They Call Me The Pyro Princess" Location: The Dance Class/Room Company: No One Current Outfit "There are those that believe fire is just a destructive force. Bringing death to everything in it's path. And in it's absence, leaving nothing but darkness and despair." Naomi slowly pushed the door to the dance class open slowly, poking her head inside first to check if anyone else was inside. It was empty, which was great, it meant that she wasn't disturbing anyone, and no one would disturb her. She stepped inside and looked around some more, leaving the door to slowly close on it's own. It was a nice open space, perfect for dancing. Of course that's all she could practice in here, it would be too dangerous to add in fire as well. "I can just go to the practice ring later for that anyway..."
She walked over to a corner of the room and set up her stereo, placing inside her mix cd, pressed play and turned the volume all the way up. Once she was finished with that, she walked back to the center of the room. She unfolded her hoops, and flicked a couple of clips to help them keep their shape while she danced.
Soon the music was pulsating throughout the whole room, it could even be heard clearly outside the room. She swung the hoops over her head, and held them against her hip. As the beat in the song started to pick up, she started to swing her hips, and twirl around slowly, causing the hoops to swirl around her. One rose up to her chest, but that was completely intentional. Naomi allowed her self to be lost in the music and closed her eyes as she continued to dance around the room. She wouldn't be aware if anyone else entered. "But I believe fire is more than that. It is beautiful. It brings light, warmth and life. Fire is something to be admired, just as much as it is to be feared." {Ooc:}

After an hour or two, Naomi started to feel a little tired, and was satisfied with her amount of practice. She stopped dancing, and caught the hoops before they hit the floor. As she stepped out of the hoops, she folded them up and walked over to turn off the stereo. Now with the stereo and hoops in hand, she turned to leave the class room on her way to her dorm to put all her stay away and perhaps get a bit of a rest. "But I believe fire is more than that. ♋𝕷ucy 𝕺ribel♌ Some time had passed since Stacie and Lucy left their dorm. The banshee had been a proper gentleman and had shown the young mage around the campus. It seemed that she knew about every little hotspot there was to know about here, but she had not gotten to know Stacie any better. She figured that would just come with time, though, and decided not to dwell on it as she opened up the doors to the dance studio. "So, here we are!" The mage said with a smile, picking Plue up and holding him close to her. The little spirit "pewed" with glee, shaking for no other reason than to shake. "Thank you for showing me all around, I really appreciate it, Stacie!" They had only happened across five people on their journey, a surprisingly small number for the size of the campus, but figured it was just because classes were in session already. She was proud of the banshee even: he had managed to make positive first impressions with two of the five people, and had even made plans to get coffee with another student and talk about their classes since they would be in the same one later that afternoon. I really want to practice... But... Does Stacie want to watch? I mean, it's been a while for me... Do I even want to be watched? And I really want to just talk with him some more... Ugh! Decisions, decisions...

Isleny Jones Location biggrin ance Room Company: Some people. Thoughts:I guess I should practice. Issy walked in, glancing at the only other people inside befor she walking to the mirror and dropping her bag with a thud. She then proceeded to pull off her shoes then her baggy cargo pants with which she wore tights underneath. She pulled off her sweater, exposing her leotard then grabbed her armband with the attach iPod. Plugging in ear bud and turning on music she sat on the floor and began her stretching excercises while keeping a disinterested eye on the others in the room.

_________________________________ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt's better than I ever even knew. They say that the world was built for two. Only worth living if somebody is loving you Stacie hadn't felt this way in a long time. The only other time he felt this way was when he went to an American university, and that was a few years ago. He had never felt this "open" with people. He actually got to talk to a few humans on the way here. Of course, he and Lucy hadn't done much talking unfortunately, but he decided they'd be able to do that later. Honestly...Stacie was apprehensive. Having Coffee with someone was fine, but he almost wished Lucy would be there to make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
Stacie's cheeks darkened at the mere thought. No! What was he thinking? She was not his chaperon! He needed to learn to be independent by himself. Lucy had to do other things, she had a life. Stacie absolutely made sure to not exclude or include Lucy from too many things. She was his friend - he genuinely wanted to hang out with her, but in turn needed to make time for other things. One friend wouldn't do him very much good.
As soon as they entered the dancing studio, Stacie was hit with this giant wave of echoes. Everything you said echoed in that room, and good god, it echoed. Banshees had great ears, and in a room like this with such acoustics, their hearing ability was further heightened. He looked over in the corner at the piano, something very, very typical in dance rooms. Often times you'd have the piano playing the music while you danced, it was no surprise. He wondered what the piano sounded like in a room such like this...It seemed like one note would break the window with it's simple vibration, Maybe it was just his ears talking, he hadn't seen or done anything like this in a long, long while.
He was slightly surprised that Lucy had agreed to take Plue, but that wasn't a problem. The tiny thing gave good company, after all. Hopefully Lucy's dancing wouldn't be interrupted by the adorable thing, he was looking forward to seeing her. Dancing...It wasn't something he saw often, and he understood there were so many types of dances out there. Waltz, ballroom dancing, and even the spicy Latin-American dancing that made Stacie's cheeks darken just watching. Of course, he knew Lucy would not be doing any of those, she was an acrobat. Most likely her dances would be accompanied by props, and creatures and other variables to show off her flexibility and finesse.
Lucy's words brought him out of his thoughts. He turned to her, just as she finished her first sentence and began her second one. A small smile appeared on his face. "It's no problem, Lucy. I'd be happy to show you around anytime." He gave her a nod of approval, then turned, seeing a reflection of someone that came in in the mirror. He hadn't greeted herself or anything, but some people were like that. Stacie's 'hmmed' quietly and walked to the middle of the dance studio, whistling. The beautiful, perfect note echoed throughout the studio for a second or two before disappearing. Stacie's eyes practically shined. "That's amazing!" Thankfully, his ears had gotten accustomed to the noises. "This room would be perfect for instruments and singing, too." He smiled and tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear, turning to look at himself in the mirror. He tilted his head to the right curiously, taking in his reflection. Stacie never really took the time to look himself in the mirror before...He never payed attention to what was in it. Now that he took it in, he wasn't sure what to think of himself. _________________________________________________________________________

♋𝕷ucy 𝕺ribel♌ It was nice to have found someone she was so comfortable with right off the bat here at Carnaval. Even though Stacie was a bit... well... odd (to say the least), she enjoyed his company. And even though he had asked for her assistance in socializing, he was doing a fantastic job by himself (well, a fantastic job for Stacie anyway). She didn't feel like his mother, or chaperone, or teacher. She felt like his friend, and the mage was hopeful that their friendship would continue to grow. Lucy watched as the banshee walked around the room, smiling as he admired himself in the mirror. "Don't stand there for too long, you may crack the glass," She joked, winking as she began to stretch out on the floor. She waved to the other girl who had walked in, but was distracted quickly by Plue who had followed Stacie to the mirror and was mimicking his movements. The blonde giggled as she watched the two of them, nodding in agreement to the banshee's statement. "The acoustics are great in here. I could easily see myself getting lost in an entirely different world once the music gets going and I start my routine." Speaking of routine... Which one did she want to do? She figured it wouldn't be a great idea to call out too many of her spirits at once, even though two was her max that she could have out at the same time. However, calling multiple spirits right after each other, even if they didn't stay for long, would be just as tiring. Having it been a long day already, she figured she would just do a simple dance routine. Lucy pulled out her iPod, searching for a song as she continued to stretch.

Only worth living if somebody is loving you Stacie looked at Lucy worriedly as she joked with him that if he stood in front of the mirror too long, he'd break that glass. A frown graced his perfect features. That made no sense. Was it an insult? Surely not, he thought they were good friends. "I'm not sure I understand you," Stacie turned his gaze from Lucy back to the mirror, looking in it curiously as he stepped closer. "How the heck..would I..." He touched the glass, still not understanding, and let it be, looking down at Plue who seemed to be copying him.
Stacie let out a cute pout and swooped the thing up, pulling him high in the air. "What are you doing, silly?" He laughed softly and brought the little thing over to the piano, setting him atop and taking a seat for himself. He uncovered it and stared at the keys with much interest. Then Lucy's words brought his head to her direction once more. Stacie smiled and nodded, playing a note, smiling brilliantly as it rung through the room. He looked at Plue and pet the little thing's head, then asked it, "Want me to play a song for you? Free of charge," Stacie crinkled his nose and crackled his knuckles, clearing his throat - all the while smiling that perfectly charming smile of his. _________________________________________________________________________

♋𝕷ucy 𝕺ribel♌ Lucy looked up from her iPod just in time to see Stacie frown at the mirror and approach the glass with a curious touch. "That was a joke, sweetie." She explained. "Nevermind!" The mage couldn't help but notice that even when he frowned he looked perfect, and she found herself gazing at him for a moment before blushing and looking back down at her iPod. Nothing was jumping out at her though... "I'll be right back!" She said as she stepped off into a side room with the bag she had brought along to change into something more comfortable. She reemerged just a few moments later in a leotard, tights, and ballet skirt. Her hair, however, remained in its usual half up-do instead of the traditional bun that often accompanied her outfit. She went back to stretching and looking at her iPod once more. When Stacie picked up Plue, the spirit shivered and let out another "pew" in response. He enjoyed the man's company, it seemed, and sat quietly atop the piano and watched the banshee with interest. Lucy's head popped back up to look at Stacie as the solo note rang loud and clear in the room. She quickly glanced at the other girl in the room, but it appeared that she had her headphones in so the piano wouldn't disturb her and so the mage turned her attention back to Stacie. "I didn't know you could play piano!" She stood up, performing a few more stretches while standing. "I'd love that! I'll start with some improvising, maybe." Lucy put her iPod down in her bag and approached the piano with a dazzling smile. She needed to hear a few bars before she began, as to get into the right mindset that the music would present her with. He looks so cute when he smiles like that. The mage quietly noted to herself, giving Plue a gentle rub on the back before turning her attention back to Stacie and the piano.

_________________________________ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt's better than I ever even knew. They say that the world was built for two. Only worth living if somebody is loving you Stacie looked at Lucy, still smiling happily. He played a quick scale on the piano, hands winding up and down the keys expertly, eyes focused and lips curled up into a grin. He stopped and nodded, again. "Yes - I do play. I've played for quite the while. Stacie paused for a moment to think about what he was going to say, and looked at Lucy. Her eyes seemed to shine with both curiosity and excitement. He liked it. It made her look ever prettier. Sorry, but I'm not really good at too poppy of songs. Let's see..." Stacie bit his lip with a blush, thinking about a song he could play for her that wasn't too depressing. With a gasp and a look over at Plue, he gave the cute little thing a pat on the head - unaware of the fact that Lucy actually wanted to dance to this music. He did plan on singing - after all. How could banshee not want to sing when playing a song? It was what he was made for! Expressing his feelings in voice - either a wail or song.
Stacie smiled. He didn't plan on screaming anytime soon - so a song would have to do. One that instantly popped up into a his head was a song he learned a few years ago. He had heard someone playing it out on the street on a violin, and instantly wanted to learn it. Stacie particularly liked this song because it reminded him of himself - in a way it related directly to his childhood. It was called Shelter, and many of the lyrics described his childhood. A verse in the lyrics described the singer asking if they had asked or said something wrong - if they did something bad. And perhaps...With a switch of the lights - a new day - it could turn better. Just thinking about it struck him to heart as he remembered that one rainy day where he was cast aside and taken in.
The tune in the key of major didn't make it especially depressing - it was more of a song you'd dance ballet to. But then again, did you dance to ballet to a singing song at all? It was more of a listening song - the type that made you close your eyes and pause to hear it.
Stacie looked down at the piano and blew a strand of his bangs out of his face, placing his hands on the piano. Slowly, he closed his eyes and began playing - not needing to look at his hands because he knew this song so well. After a few measures, a lovely smile graced his solemn features, and he opened his mouth and began to sing. As the song progressed, his eyes opened and he stared at Plue and off into the distance, still smiling happily - smiling a gorgeous smile that lit up his face and made him practically glow. His voice was perfectly clear and gentle - never raspy, never forceful. _________________________________________________________________________

♋𝕷ucy 𝕺ribel♌ Even when just performing a simple scale, Lucy was spellbound by his talent. "That's alright, pop songs aren't really my thing anyway," She offered him a smile - however, it wasn't her typical dazzling smile that brimmed with happiness. This one was almost... somber. "Unfortunately, most pop songs have little heart. For me to dance as openly and true to myself as I can, I prefer music with a gentle yet powerful pull on the soul..." To some, the words she spoke may sound cheesy. However, Lucy spoke them truthfully and even Plue was silent. As Stacie began to play, she made her way to the center of the floor and sat down, closing her eyes and letting the music roll off her body. She had not expected the banshee to sing as well, but it just so happened that as he began to, she started to dance. She opened her eyes and glanced over at him, his whole body glowing. His voice, so pure and and effortless only added to the intensity that she danced with. Yet, just like his voice, her moves were gentle and smooth. The way he sang, Lucy couldn't help but realize how much this song meant to him. She listened to the lyrics, finding her own story among them. Most people would just sit and listen to a song as powerful and emotional as the one Stacie was performing. For Lucy, however, she needed to dance. And so she did. She was amazed with how beautiful his voice was, and she couldn't help but get lost in the moment. Plue closed his eyes and swayed with the music, understanding that this was a tender moment not to be interrupted. Buttercream Belle Oh my gosh eek I'm in love with this cover heart

_________________________________ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt's better than I ever even knew. They say that the world was built for two. Only worth living if somebody is loving you Stacie finished the song with a roll of a few keys and he heaved a small sigh, fighting tears that threatened to overwhelm him. He had never played that song for anyone before - and what's more...To be comfortable enough to be able to play such a song in front of Lucy, and another girl...It made Stacie smile.
When he was singing - his eyes wanted to be glued to her movements. He could see them in his peripheral vision - and they were very pretty. He had never exactly seen someone dance in such a way and the movements made him blush. They were perfect, and so emotional. He had no idea someone's legs could bend so perfectly. They looked so smooth, too.
Lucy had already effected him in a way he would have never thought of. In this one day she managed to have him open up, even if it was just the tiniest bit. She made him feel welcome in more ways than one. In all ways, Lucy had fulfilled her promise to him to make him more social. He wasn't quite the social butterfly the Lucy was - and he was sure he'd never be, but her presence made him a better person, and he loved that.
Her previous explanation of her opinion on pop songs made his heart swell further. Great minds think alike, right? Stacie got up, cheeks dusted red, laughing awkwardly. "So, If I had a sign I'd give you a 10 out of 10 for your performance. But I don't, so, um..." He shrugged and jerked his hand up, giving Lucy an awkward thumbs up. His cheeks were a subtle pink and smile was a bit shy, but still he vibrant, beautiful and lovely, nonetheless. _________________________________________________________________________ Celestial Vagabond (( Believe me, I know. ♋𝕷ucy 𝕺ribel♌ As the last few notes rolled off the keys and settled in the air around them, Lucy slowed down and finally stood still in the center of the room. She breathed heavily, which was unusual for her. She had quite the stamina, so it was unlikely that she was out of shape. Rather, it seemed that she had been bound so tightly to the sound of Stacie's voice and the song that she was now just emotionally drained. She brushed her bangs back from her face, glancing over at the banshee who looked like he was on the verge of tears. She stepped softly over to him, smiling as he complimented her dancing and attempted to give her an awkward thumbs up. Lucy was still trying to catch her breath, and so instead of returning words of recognition, she wrapped her arms around Stacie and held him tightly in her embrace. The mage held the hug for a while before looking up at him, her big brown eyes meeting his as she took a step back with a smile, her face flushed with color. "That was beautiful. I haven't danced like that in a long time, and it's all thanks to you. You're an incredible singer, and pianist, Stacie." Lucy glanced over at Plue who seemed to be melting on top of the piano, but the mage was not concerned. "Look! You've even got Plue all emotional!" She giggled slightly and scooped the little spirit up in her arms, nuzzling its head with her nose. Buttercream Belle Goodness, me too now! I'm checking out his other stuff.. I'm in love!

These two had a connection, one that didn't involve Issy. She quickly changed and packed her bag, making it seem as though she had something to attend to. Only worth living if somebody is loving you Stacie stared at Lucy wide eyed as she caught him in an embrace. His cheeks flamed and he pat her back awkwardly. She was wearing a leotard - this was not appropriate! Before Lucy commented Stacie shyly said, "Thank you for the close proximity, Lucy, b-but the student handbook says public displays of affection are forbidden on school grounds..." His cheeks darkened further, and Lucy just continued, telling him her feelings about his music.
How was it possible for his cheeks to darken? His entire face was red - it was a stark comparison to the rest of his body. "Ah, Lucy, you don't have to be modest, I just-" His attention was drawn over to Plue, who was, as Lucy described, "getting emotional." "Thank you, Lucy." Stacie shrugged as if was nothing, then regarded her dancing. "Your dancing was superb as well. You're very flexible! How did you do that thing with your leg? I didn't know you could bend it like that..." He looked slightly fascinated, eyes glimmering, but Stacie shook his head, expression turning back to it's normal soft kindness. "I have no doubts that you're going to be the star of the carnival, Lucy. You're great!" Stacie smiled brightly at her and gave her another awkward gesture - a pat on the head. He would've hugged her back - but there were the PDAs(Public Displays of Affection), and he wasn't sure if she wanted him to hug her or not. or if it was even appropriate.
It wasn't until he looked around that he noticed the girl had left. When had that happened? Oh! Stacie's darkened again. Did he notice the PDAs and maybe think something about them? Stacie blinked, biting his lip. He wasn't ready for people thinking he was in a relationship yet - he didn't even know what it exactly was! _________________________________________________________________________ Celestial Vagabond (( Nuuu!!
