Ca Thu Thi was lounging, quietly observing her surroundings. There wasn't much else for her to do, with her pregnancy's progression. Her ears perked up when she heard voices approaching. Young voices. Paimon's young half-brothers? The thought made her smile a bit. She'd known about their existence long before Paimon due to Lacey being one of Manga's Bonded. She'd felt a little guilty keeping it from him, but now, she was glad she'd agreed to Lacey's request. Paimon was a little... eccentric sometimes in matters related to his chaotic father... "Slow down, Remus," Delta chided gently, though he was still smiling as he followed after his nephews. They were so... spirited. Roman was a bit more reserved lately, but he was still full of life... Remus huffed, but obeyed. "The Crash doesn't like slowing down," he grumbled. "The Crash likes speeding up.""But The Crash would feel bad if he crashed into a family member, right?" Delta reasoned, his red eyes shining with innocent truth. Remus reluctantly nodded, then turned to give the nearby Ca a bright grin. "Hiiiii!" he called over. Ca smiled and dipped her head in greeting. She wondered if her children would have flames or flaming designs like them...

Paimon was out foraging with Huel, the two brothers talking calmly about families. Though Paimon was older, he hadn't had any kids yet, and Huel had. Paimon was a nervous wreck, not that he would let Ca know.. well she probably knew due to their Bondeds' connection that also connected them, but he wouldn't admit to it. It wasn't until he smelled it, the distinct smell of sulfur, and not his and Huel's own, and not any of Huel's children for they were off doing their own things. It was the distinct new smell of Sulfur. Both of the male's head raised and they raced towards the scent, which was also in the direction of Ca. He better not! Paimon's mind hiss. As they got closer, Huel skidded to a stop, looking at the two foals while Paimon charged right up to them with an angry whinny. 'LEAVE!" He snarled out. Huel stepped towards Paimon. "Pai. They're just children." he said softly, his kind eyes watching the young ones' reaction. Roman startled at the snarl, his body immediately responding to his training as his wings spread back, making him look larger than he really was, his teeth baring, revealing the few sharp points he'd gained by birth and honed by hunting and eating meat in the south. He snarled back equally as ferocious and bat his clawed wings at the older flamer. Paimon remained where he was, the fire around him swirling as he snarled at the young flamer, a contest of wills and anger between the two brothers.

Remus yelped at the snarl, blue flames shooting out from his hooves. A gust of wind from a powerful pair of wings, however, quickly put them out. He looked up at the leg he'd stumbled into. One of those powerful wings gently draped over him, the other shadowing Roman. "Uncle Del..."
"There's no need to fight," Delta said softly, a childlike innocence radiating off of him despite his sturdy build. "We're all family here." He smiled. "Let's get along, 'kay?" The last part was more directed to Roman than to Paimon. Paimon's mate was speaking to him, after all... And Roman was the one who was under his wing and had the potential to burn him. Delta wasn't sure if he'd inherited the dragon fire immunity or not, and he didn't want to find out the hard way...
Ca Thu Thi sighed. Maybe she should've told Paimon a little sooner... "Enough." She still didn't speak often, and her sentences were still choppy, but when she did, her words were crisp and clear. She knew that her mate would be able to hear the gentle command; he was definitely close enough to. While the one colt had reacted in a similarly hostile way to Paimon's, the other was now huddling under the protection of Delta's wing, his enthusiasm diminished. Maybe it was just the influence of the pregnancy, but her heart melted at the sight. The poor child...

Paimon still snarled at the foal, until he heard his silent mate. He eased his visible aggravation, though he was still somewhat in attack mode. He turned to look at Ca, and asked, almost crossly; "Who are they?" He asked, his red eyes burning back into those of the younger ones.
Roman folded his wings in and eased his fire so as to not hurt Uncle Del, though he was still in a snarl. "I am Roman and this is Remus. We are brothers, both sons of Ruin and Lacey Aumia." he growled out.
Huel looked at Paimon before looking at the two younger ones, specifically Remus. "Calm. Its okay, he's all bark and no bite. We are your brothers. He is Paimon, the eldest, and I am Huel Mabcaw. Its finally a pleasure to meet you, brothers." He said softly, trying to get the foals to calm down while Ca worked on Paimon.

Ca Thu Thi stared at him, trying to keep herself calm. If she didn't, she'd try to move, and that wasn't really the best option at the moment. "Lacey's sons," she replied, confirming what Roman had said. Her pumpkin-colored eyes narrowed. "You will not harm them." She was not going to deal with the rage that her fellow Bonded would have should Paimon injure one of the colts.
Remus nodded slowly to the younger of his two older brothers. "Nice to... meet you," he mumbled, averting his gaze. Not only had he been a little intimidated, now he was embarrassed... His ears lifted and his gaze went to the mare he'd originally greeted. "... Hey, Uncle Del..." He looked up at Delta the best he could from underneath his wing. "What do their hearts look like?" The children had learned early on about their uncle's unique ability, and Remus had always been fascinated by it...
Delta blinked at the question, smiling. His gaze moved across Huel, Paimon, and Ca in turn, speaking their hearts' shapes as his eyes fell on them. "Bridle, magma, drums." Huel's was a bridle, signifying both guidance and restraint. Paimon's was magma, fiery and untouchable, but also the source of new land when mixed with water. Ca's was drums, a musical instrument that controlled pacing...

Paimon simmered, though he was still wary of the colts, especially the one that had snarled back at him. Spunk was fine, but he smelled strongly of Ruin, which meant he'd been around the evil demon. "Fine." Was all he said as he looked at the colts again. "What brings you to my nest, young fire-breathers?" He asked. Roman simmered and listened to what Del said, instantly recognizing what he meant by each heart. While Paimon's was magma, that wasn't a bad thing. He was strong and could change his flow at a moment's notice. He wouldn't harm them. Roman slipped out from under his uncle's wings to study Huel and Paimon. "We came to visit you. We are your brothers, we figured we might as well know you." He declared. "Also, Mama said that Miss Ca was expecting babies and said that if we were coming this way, we might as well offer to help if it was needed..." He turned to Ca, his bright eyes shining as he lay on the ground, extending his nose towards her, a silent way of asking if she wanted anything. Roman knew nothing of this female, only that she was mated to his brother, but somehow, his heart told him how to act. Huel nodded at the boys. "Well you are welcome to visit anytime." he said softly as he smiled at the boys. "You live near some other kin of mine." he said casually as he smiled at Delta. "I'm glad to see you up and about, though I know you have been for a while now. My mate's family was worried about you for awhile there." Michiko made her way over to the group. She had heard Paimon's angry whinny and had come towards them, but seeing the problem diffused she had slowed her pace in order to come at a more leisurely pace. Once she arrived her eyes focused on the foals. "I see you have met your contemporaries..." She commented almost dryly to Paimon and Huel before turning to Ca. "You doing okay, sweety?" She asked tenderly.

Ca Thu Thi snorted and rolled her eyes at her mate's reaction. Males. When Roman extended his nose in a silent question. She did the same, lightly exhaling. Now that the fight had been resolved--or at least, postponed--and she was in good company, she was content. Her gaze went to the younger brother, then returned to Roman. A smile graced her lips. Those two... they seemed to have a relationship similar to Ca's relationship with her younger sister, Liron. The elder had the ears while the younger had the voice... though at the moment, the "voice" of the pair had been cowed.
Ca smiled at Michiko's question, glancing at her mate and rolling her eyes at him before letting the smile widen. Although her mother-in-law hadn't initially been that warm, the mare was very helpful and considerate of her pregnant state. She was glad to be in the protective female's care, especially with such a stubborn mate. At the moment, she almost wished she could get up and smack him once to snap him out of his obsessive, Ruin-based rage.
Delta smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about the scare... er, scares?" Acting a little embarrassed, he added, "It's still a bit confusing for me..." Even though he'd only been a colt when he lost his memories, apparently his past had been chock-full of history... an much of it had been tragic.

Roman stayed where he was, ignoring the angry sounds coming from Paimon as he stayed there, his ears flicking at the conversations around him, as he studied Ca. She was a very beautiful female, he figured, almost as pretty as Mama but definitely not prettier.
Michiko slapped Paimon with her tail. "Quit your huffing and puffing. They are your brothers and they are foals. Its bad enough you threatened Huel's life when he was a blanket, leave these boys alone. They've done nothing except be born to get your hatred."
Paimon, effectively cowed, nodded, ducking to escape another swipe from Michi's tail. "Yes ma'am." He said softly, his angry exterior fully diminishing at her admonishment.
Huel shook his head. "They are not your fault, Delta. But just remember, you have a humongous clan of kin that has your back." He said, turning to Paimon and Michiko. "You threatened my life when I was a blanket?!" He exclaimed/

Ca grinned at Michiko's scolding, pumpkin eyes twinkling. She couldn't help it. It was just so amusing! And satisfying, quite frankly. After all, she was not moving from her spot. The once-mute mare was not going to risk injury to her unborn children because she had to beat her mate for being hard-headed.
Delta chuckled. "I'm aware," he replied to the reassurance from Huel. He'd met most of the family. He blinked at the exclamation. "Eh?"
Remus had been watching from underneath Delta's wing, relaxing a bit as Roman interacted with Ca. Then, at Huel's surprised, indignant cry, he couldn't help it: he laughed. It wasn't meant to be offensive or mean, and it didn't really sound that way either. It was a light laugh, one that sounded a bit like Beta's as a child, albeit more masculine. He couldn't help it! The sibling argument just reminded him of their own little fights...

Paimon lay down behind Ca, part way because he wanted to, but mostly as protection from his brother and adoptive mother. "Uh.. well.. I uh..." he stuttered about.
Roman got up, seeing that Ca was either ignoring him or had nothing to say and went back over to his brother, lightly headbutting his shoulder as Remus laughed. "Does The Crash want to race?" He asked with a great grin.
Huel rolled his eyes. "Gee, Pai... I knew you didn't like me to begin with, but I never thought you'd threaten the life of a child..." he said, halfway as a joke, but also making a point.
Michiko leaned down and lightly picked at Ca's mane before turning and leaving. She wasn't needed at the moment.

Remus grinned and perked right up at his brother's offer. He puffed out his chest and posed. "Of course The Crash wants to race! The Crash never turns down a challenge!"
Delta chuckled, watching the pair. They sure got along well...
Ca smiled in amusement, leaning against him. She gave Michiko a grateful gaze before relaxing and nibbling on Paimon's mane.

Roman laughed and headbutted his brother. "Catch me!" he called, taking off, dust in his wake.
Paimon sighed and let Ca nibble while he looked in every way but in the way of his company. "They're not just kids... they are potentially dangerous. Ruin will twist the mind of any he can..." he said.

Remus backed up a few steps from the impact, then dashed of after his brother.
Ca sighed, resting her head on the ground. Yes, they were potentially dangerous, but weren't they all? Ruin would twist the mind of any strong Azrien he could, even if they weren't related to him. How could he see his own brothers like that? She couldn't imagine doing the same with Liron or Cam... The mentality was making a coil of nerves in her gut. If this was how he reacted to siblings, how would he react to their children? The mare couldn't help worrying... She loved Paimon, but she also didn't want him acting irrationally if one of their precious foals happened to share his parents' flames.

Roman grinned and looked back at his brother, fanning out his wings so to slow down a bit and let Remus catch up. "C'mon slow poke!"
Paimon simmered as he lay next to his mate and nibbled on her mane. It worried him that she was so near, so much that he really hadn't left her side at all, much to Punk's chastisement to give his daughter space. He sighed and looked up at Delta and Huel.
Huel smiled kindly at his brother's mate, hoping she knew that he would stop Paimon from any irrational mistakes he might possibly try at when it came to his kids. He knew and understood his brother's fear, more so than his brother possibly understood. He also knew that Lacey wanted Roman and Remus here while she went on a small journey, though to where, she hadn't told Huel. He looked up at Delta. "Do you know where Lacey went, and how long she will be gone?"

Delta shook his head to the question. "She didn't say..." He thought for a moment, then spoke again. "She may have gone looking for Grimm." It was one of the only things he could think of. The stallion that had been Lacey's support since the beginning had vanished without a trace. It had hit Lacey and the kids hard...
