It's time for everyone's favorite thread: THE RULES!

1. Follow the Gaia TOS, guidelines, and rules.

2. Respect all members and mods.

3. No godmodding (automatically hit your moves, counter everything, not feeling pain at all)

4. Please write correctly.

5. You can use a maximum of 2 characters. They can't be involved against each other and they can only help one another if they are officially a tag team (posted in the tag team/faction section). If you have reasons to use another, please contact Punkology about it.

6. To play a real, please contact Punkology regarding such. Unless given the clear by him, reals are banned.

7. If your opponent does not reply in 2 days (48 hours at least), you may have one auto hit/auto connect. If your opponent didn't reply after 4 days (96 hours), you won the match.

--7.1. If you are in a tag team match, and one person is declared inactive, it would be a bit frustrating for the other RPers to not be able to RP because of one. So, when such cases happens, the autowin only counts for the inactive one, and not the whole team, which means the match continues without that person.

--7.2. If you are able to get an autohit/win and want to call it, please give a notice in your post.

8. If you are inactive for 2 cycles in a row and you noticed no mods about your absence (see rule 9), your character will be removed from booking. After that, you must tell a moderator you're back within the next two cycles. If you don't, you will be banned for inactivity. As people are booked via posting in roll-call, this rule is not entirely necessary.

-- 8.1. If you are a champion, you are expected to be active on every card. Even if you do not have a match, backstage posts or promos are heavily encouraged. There are few exceptions to this (i.e. unavailable due to Real Life, character injury, etc.).

9. If you're supposed to be out for a while, please let us know by posting the dates of your vacations in the thread we prepared for that. Or send a message to a mod.

10. You can interfere in a match if and ONLY IF:
- You are feuding with one character involved
- Everyone involved in the match accepted
Do NOT interfere if:
- The roleplayers involved in the match disagreed with that
- You are new and want to make a name for yourself
- You just feel like it

11. If a moderator is involved in a match, he cannot end his own match. Instead, another moderator will end it for him. Just to make sure there's no bias, bias accusations and whatnot.

12. You will receive a guild announcement to say the match started, After that, it's your responsibility to check if something happens.

13. Unless you're calling an autohit or autowin (put please call it, just so we know), it is recommended not to do double-posting. In other words, just no spamming.

14. Have fun!

15. If you post your entrance as ((Reserved)), you are expected to post an actual entrance within 7 days. Even if it's as simple as "So and So walked out to the ring." As long as it's some kind of actual entrance. If you do not, well... there will be some kind of warning.

Quote:
There is what happens to those who don't follow the rules
1st time: Warning
2nd time: 1 to 3 cycles suspension.
3rd time: BANHAMMER!!

There we go! You read all the rules of BBW! Now respect them!

New notice: If you post in a roll-call after the card has been posted, do not expect a match to be made for you. The roll-call is typically posted 1-2 weeks before the card is made, so everyone has plenty of time to request a match. If you don't within that time, the chances of a match being made are slim.

The rules have been updated as of January 11, 2014.

NEW POLICY:

As agreed upon by the Crew, there will be a new policy in place effective as of March 2nd, 2014.

The Crew (Punkology, Protowolf 2.0, and [M]a.r.t.s) have the right to deliver a Probation as a repercussion to those that deserve it. This will be always be voted on between the three members to keep it fair. The penalty of this is removal from whatever they are currently involved in on the card, and barred from competing on the following card. If the person dealt this penalty is a Champion, proper steps will be taken to deal with such. This Probation can be dished out if:

- there are OOC disputes that are not handled properly through PMs or chats with Punkology, Protowolf 2.0, or [M]a.r.t.s.
- there are clear signs of no-selling and unwillingness to take what is also dished out against the will of the opponent.
- God-modding occurs.
- OOC disputes with a Crew member gets far too out of hand.

It is doubtful this policy will have to be enacted at any point, but it in place in case it does. If both parties involved are guilty, both parties will more than likely be dealt said probation. It's a shame that this had to even be thought of.
