The more practice the better, and practice with magic was something she couldn't just ask her sisters to help her with later. Thankfully she had made friends with two magic uses, she went to the one who she thought was more skilled for help.
She smiled, and when she was sure that Aminah was ready she went towards the earthling with her blades, hoping to start the practice off right!

Aminah was more than happy to spar with Briella. It would be their second battle, but at least this time they would be on opposite sides. "Good luck!" She shouted to her opponent before launching into a water attack.
It was no good though, it didn't even come close to its mark.

Damage: 1 (+7) = 8/2 = 4 damage
"I guess were better off working together then against each other." she said with a laugh since both of their attacks missed each other! It was a slow start, but hopefully the battle would pick up soon.
She went forward to attack the woman again, and barely was able to avoid tripping on a stone. The attack wasn't her best, but at least it was better then the last.

Aminah laughed at Briella's remarks. True, they had worked better as a team in the long run, but from what she could remember, they had started out pretty slow together too.
Aminah launched a powerful lightning attack, gasping as it exploded from her staff. She hadn't meant for it to be that harsh.

Briella's eyes went wide when the lighting came her way, it was powerful! She moved as quickly as she could and was lucky to miss the bolt! That would have hurt her more then she could even imagine. Aminah was strong!
Hoping that the attack had startled Aminah as much as it had startled her she went to attack Aminah with her blades one again.

Briella receives 10 dmg.
Aminah quickly tried to jump out of the way of the attack, but she was just too slow and the spear too long. It struck her side with its swipe and had her staggering to catch her footing again.
She lauched another bite of lightning at Briella, hoping the attack would hit this time.

Again with the lightning! It was becoming Briella's most feared magic, thankfully she was able to dodge once again and attempt to retaliate the attack with one of her own!

Obviously lightning wasn't working to Aminah's advantage. Twice now Briella dodged, and twice Aminah was hit. She shook off the last hit and sent an earth tremor Briella direction.

She was happy no more lighting, but at the same time she had been able to dodge the lighting, the earth tremor coming her way was much more impossible! It caught her off guard and she was pretty sure sprained her ankle. However the adrenaline in her body made it so that she didn't notice, not yet. Briella went towards her again with her swords, hopefully the earth wouldn't swallow her whole as she did so.

Aminah attempted to jump out of the way of Briella's oncoming attack with a roll, but it was no use. Before she could gather herself up the blades struck with their full force and sent her reeling backward. She had enough sense left in her to infuse a spell into the area around her, becoming in a sense a bomb ready to blow.

She had a feeling that Aminah was getting ready to unleash something great so Briella ran towards her with her blades ready to attack. However the next thing she knew she was heading towards the floor. Pulling herself up Briella prepared for whatever would come next.

Aminah thanked the stars that Briella didn't make it to her with this attack. She didn't think she would make it much longer. She was worn out and waiting for her inscription to take hold and go off, hopefully turning the tides in this battle. "Are you alright?" she asked Briella. It was a silly question, since her attacks were probably more painful than falling to the floor.
She took the opportunity to launch another lightning shock toward Briella, hoping to wear her down before what she hoped was a large strike would take hold.

Briella laughed. "The only thing that was hurt by that was my pride." she said with a shake of her head. Before she could even move to attack Aminah again she was attacked by a lightning strike! It was stronger then she thought and made her pause for a second. She shook it off. "Now I know why my mother's never let me out during a storm." she said with a laugh again before moving to attack Aminah again. She put a lot of force in this attack, so hopefully it would be the last one that was necessary! She wasn't sure how much longer she could do this without tiring out.
