There was a bus from the old neighborhood that the Delarans had made their home in and it crawled its way through the suburbs and into the city, where it made multiple stops, one of which was at the Grand Central Library of Durem, right on the corner of the city park. This was the bus that Eiry would take day in and day out to get to and fro from work, earning the books that he would end up taking home. He used his paycheck to pick up school materials for Isi and the books that he might request as well, books that focused on traveling and distant places, where the world would take on a fantastic scene. Mountains and great lakes, cliffs and oceans, all sorts of places. Eiry was helping Isi slowly build a collection of them, working his way around the world from one earthly wonder to the next. For Aphismet, he would bring home cooking books, or fun discount joking books, which he and the chef would share laughs over, something like knitting or useless books about sock collections. It was enjoyable. He almost always had a book in hand upon the return trip home. On this particular trip, the raevan had a book he had bought for himself, a chilling murder mystery which he had mistakenly opened while he was waiting for the bus stop. It was heading into the later evening and the sky was becoming tinged with the color of roses. At the moment, there was a terrible and gruesome discovery of bodies which had been hidden in the second floor landing, exposed through the ceiling like modern art lamp exhibits. Eiry had his nose in the novel, hardly noticing the number of the bus that he had floated onto.
It wasn't his bus.
He had only discovered his grave mistake when he looked up from the book, startled back into the real world by the stopping of the bus, which pulled up into a pleasant little are full of docile looking buildings and window gardens. A cold fear crawled into Eiry's heart as he searched for something recognizable and saw nothing. This was not his home. This was not the quiet neighborhood that his family waited for him in. This was...Barton?
Urged off the bus by the driver, who had taken him as far as he could go, Eiry had tried to beg to be taken back. However, the tired bus driver was turning in for the night and would no longer be running any routes. He dropped him off on the sidewalk, wished him luck along with a tired apology, and closed the bus door.
Now, see, this wouldn't have been as scary if Eiry had a cellphone, but...He didn't. He was scared of the damned things and now that he was lost in the world without any way to contact his guardian, he understood why it was so scary to be without one. Standing with a book clutched in his hands, his red reading glasses drooping low on his nose and his shoulders tucked close to his pointed and lowered ears, he looked around in horror at pleasant looking Barton as if he had been dropped off on Maple Street in the Twilight Zone.
"Oh no..."

LuLu would not ever say she was an expert of Barton. However, she had tagged along with Josh on more than one occasion when he visited the city. By now, the rabbit knew the locations of things that she cared about. Tino's Bakery was on Madison Street. It had amazing carrot cupcakes. The frosting practically melted in your mouth. Today she had manged to get a free sample with a bit of chit chat on her part. A pink perfumed clothing store resided a few blocks down from that. The lettering on its sign was too fancy for her to ever make out the name. Frills decorated its windows like lacy streamers and always manged to catch Lu's attention. She did not frequently don satin ribbons or Victorian styled corsets despite her interest in the look. That type of clothing was soft and delicate, Melisande could wear those things. On the other hand, LuLu felt comfortable in cropped tops with wild patterns or slouchy shirts that showed off a sliver if her newly developed mid drift. Today, she wore a shirt given to her by We'rika. It fit his humor and LuLu wore it out of an appreciation for the man rather than the garment. It was a few sizes too big and one part of the neckline slipped precariously low to reveal some of her shoulder. Her mocha skin was displayed like a dessert and her tattoo formed a raspberry swirl atop the decadent display. One of her wrists was adorned with numerous colored bangles. Those stores were set on right side of Barton. The other side of town was less chic. Modern boutiques were replaced by antique shops. Cobblestone roads led to libraries and music stores. All the things that made LuLu yawn and a bored tear roll from her eye. The sigel would not frequent the left side of Barton if not for her favorite park being nestled in a distant corner on the map. As a matter of fact, that is where she was returning from. She did not pay much mind as she floated down one of the old, cracked sidewalks and made her way back to her guardian.

Wandering forward a little before back tracking nervously back to the bus stop, Eiry looked around with bright red eyes for something, someone, anyone who might be able to help him. He could feel his heart thrumming wildly in his chest, his mind a flurry of half baked plans and possibilities. Perhaps Isi would figure that something bad had happened to him and would come out looking for him? No, no, he reasoned, how would he know where to even start looking if that happened? Well...He could conceivably fly his way back to Durem, but he didn't know which way was what! Not only that, but his stamina wasn't like that of the others. He would tire out somewhere along the way, become more lost, especially if he was out in the middle of nowhere over some fields or forests, and he would be lost for good. Gulping, Eiry resolved to try and stay put, but then again, what was the good of that? The buses had ended for today! While buses still ran in Durem, the city of life, they didn't run as late here in peaceful little Barton. He had missed his bus back home. Perhaps he could just float along the road and walk his way back. He wouldn't arrive until morning, but he might be able to make it...?
Eiry felt himself panicking a bit more, spinning uselessly as if there was something that might appear to help him in his sour predicament when he saw--
--oh no.
Eiry's heart seized up in his chest. Like things couldn't get any worse! Lulu had just turned the corner next to the bus stop, coming within five feet of him. It had been ages since they had last seen each other, in fact, they were both still young and rambunctious, still stupid and petty, when they had argued last, playing bitter pranks on one another until they both had their feelings hurt. From that moment on, they had been bitter rivals, dodging each other at Lab organized events and turning down every opportunity to speak with one another. Now, Eiry realized, he couldn't run like he had done before. She was the only one from the Lab who he might be able to count on, and if she could bring him to Josh...Perhaps he would be saved!
But for now, all rescue plans aside, Eiry was struck stiff, holding his book tightly to his chest.
"L-Lulu," he blurted uselessly. Perhaps that was enough to catch her attention.

The rabbit's ears twitched softly as she caught her name drifting on the wind. It was weak as though spoken by a ghost, nearly lost among the street noises of Barton. She turned her head to investigate and was shocked to see Eiry. The other sigel was as pallid and haggard as ever, maybe even a bit more so than usual given his frightening circumstances.
Upon seeing him, LuLu's tranquil expression immediately feel into a sour pucker as though she had bit into a lemon. She honestly would have preferred an impromptu haunting rather than Eiry's company. She did not question what had brought the older raevan to this part of town. Instead, the girl replied with a bitter rumble, "What." Her arms were crossed defensively over her chest and locked into place to further emphasize the wall between them.

This was going to be a horrid experience, thought Eirdirsceol miserably. He could already tell. Already fighting the urges to just launch into another defensive fight with her, Eiry shoved his bloated sense of pride out to the side and swallowed down every retort or insult that desperately tried to crawl onto his tongue in order to defend himself from someone who was surely going to make his day at least ten times worse than it already was. Eiry prolonged his answer by readjusting his book in his hands, underneath his arm, underneath the other arm and then by smearing his hand through his hair, nervously looking at the other from over the brim of his red reading glasses. "I-I...I'm lost." he blurted sloppily. This was so unlike him, he thought in his head, watching the scene unfold from outside of himself. His eloquence was absolutely horrid. "I have lost my way home because of a wayward bus, and now I have no way to get back to my family. This is Barton, right? Could you..." Eiry again swallowed a lump in his throat, a ball of age old remarks that would probably start up another feud.
At the tip of his tongue, there was a comment about her clothing and how it slid off her shoulder like that, but he kept it to himself, reminding himself of others and of a newer aged philosophy. It was okay, he told himself. It was okay. He was okay, he was just lost. Lulu was okay, she was just...A temperamental seething grudge-holding melodramatic impudent roguish brat. Eiry found himself choking a bit more until he reined himself in. He couldn't mess this up. "Could you help me? I have not a cellular device, and no way to contact Isikoro or Aphismet. I have not even a dime upon my person."

Lavender eyes watched the slow shuffle of his book. Back and forth. Over and under. To and fro. LuLu nearly snapped at him to get on with his explanation already. Fortunately, he dove into it before she could retort.
Her crossed arms continued to tighten over her chest as she restricted herself from Eiry. LuLu was wound tight like a coil as she listened to his story with halfhearted interest. The girl already did not have much patience and what little she did have was now being strained by Eiry's presence. The rabbit replied stiffly, "This is Barton."
LuLu was having just as hard a time keeping her temperament under control as Eiry was. For every retort the elder sigel wanted to say, she too had one clawing at her throat to escape. She watched him bite each quip back with an uncomfortable shift and was forced to pull back on her own insults.
Finally, Eiry's true request was out in the open and LuLu could not help but feel her skin crawl at the sick irony of the situation. The girl's voice came out a bit scratchier this time. Her throat was tight from so many unsaid words, "I could help you. But why should I?" Ah, and there was the swift backhand of karma.

Eiry knew that she would say something like that. A question, an ultimatum, some kind of bargaining system, a way to glean something from him, because honestly, Eiry wasn't in the position to be asking for anything and Lulu was the one in power. He swallowed back a number of retorts, allowing his fear of being lost to overcome that of his blistering pride. He had to help himself and he wasn't going to be able to do that if he didn't bend or break.
Tightening his grip on his book to his chest, his glasses slipping down his nose, the raevan struggled a little to find a worthy response for the rabbit. Eventually, he managed to scratch one up.
"Because we are kindred, you and I, and despite our differences past, there would be no dire situation in which I would not help you in return. I realize that this decision is entirely based on my own perception of our relationship, but I can't help but think the same for you," he said in a quickly spun reason. He couldn't help but raise a brow at her, though, returning that backhanded slap of karma with a loaded question of his own, "You're not a cruel heartless rodent of a soul, are you? You're more than that. Even with our strained history, I know that you are more than I give you credit for."

LuLu's face scrunched up at Eiry's revelation as though she bit directly into a ripened lemon. A sour taste bled into her mouth and caused her eyebrows to stay knitted together despite her face relaxing. The outer edge of the blond arch, pointed delicately, gave a soft twitch. Kindred? She resisted the urge to scoff and instead heard the other sigel out.
Eiry and her differed in many ways. Even down to the clothes they wore and the way they carried themselves. Unsurprisingly, she did not share Eiry's opinion of their relationship. He was an enemy. And only that.
LuLu did not trust the wisp as far as she could throw him, ignoring the fact she could not actually pick him up to throw him, especially with something as selfless as a favor. She did not do favors for her enemies nor could she fathom why they would expect favors from her.
Yet, this raevan seemed to have spun an alternate vision for their relationship. One were they saved one another from peril. Maybe they even held hands ans skipped through meadows? Lu's exhale drew out into a long sigh. It was frustrating how differently they functioned.
Eiry's logic only continued to irritate her. Her wings gave yet another short, fierce flap. He had managed to strike a cord in the girl whether it was intentional or not. It left her agitated.
Yes, she was not completely cruel and heartless. That was something she had been trying to prove to herself and everyone else ever since her growth. Yet, did she really need to help Eiry in order to prove that her kindness actually existed?
LuLu replied slowly, forming her response carefully, "I am more than cruel." A smirk formed on her dainty lips. She repeated herself with more conviction, "Why should I help you? Give a real reason." Convince me went unstated.

The friction grating between them was almost audible as they shifted uncomfortably on the sidewalk, knuckles flexing, shoulders stiffening. Eiry felt his gut tangling itself up into knots, along with his fingers which were now betraying his growing sense of abandonment as they wrung together. This was a delicate game that they were playing now and Eiry could sense the fragility of every word bridged between them. Just one wrong step and the planks beneath him would fall, the bridge would collapse. Not that there was much of a bridge built between them at all. If anything at all was left, it was only the smouldering remains of supports from a bridge long since burned from both sides. What Eiry was attempting now was to shout across the distance and beg for a boat. Fat chance he had with getting that.
Hearing the rabbit's response, Eiry had to restrain his face from reacting to the cocky sneer on LuLu's lips. His mouth twitched, struggling to remain in its pleading pout, but he was struggling very hard not to scoff back at her confidence and tear her down to size. He swallowed the hard lump in his throat and attempted again to come up with something to please her. Round and round his thoughts spun, but eventually he came back to the same conclusion that he had made with his first thoughts.
He would have to literally bend for her.
Tightening his hands against one another as he tucked his book underneath his arm, Eiry swallowed once more before managing to mutter against all senses of self-preservation.
"...As you should know, I do not forget deeds. I hold grudges, and at the same time, I hold respect for those who have earned it. I'm...I'm willing to forget what happened in the past and retract my bile and bite. Should you help me, I'm willing to...I'm willing," Eiry closed his eyes, almost unbelieving that he was giving this over to Lulu. There was a side of him that was rolling his eyes and demanding rebuttal, but Eiry blurted anyways, "I'm willing to beg. I'll do anything to prove my peace to you."
Oh, he's gone and done it now.

Though her patience had been wearing thin from the get go, LuLu also decided to tread this conversation carefully to avoid peril. Without a bridge to raise them to safety, either one of them could get swept up in the rapids. Things could get ugly fast if they were not cautious and Lu understood this.
So the sigel listened to the wisp's pleas and bargains with a slack jaw. She listened in hope of not raising anymore attention to them. She nodded along with his words in what she supposed were the correct places for confirmation, because they rang truer than she had expected.
Lu might have been too quick to judge in saying they were nothing alike. At the very least, they both held respect and disdain close to their heart. Both had to be earned. Eiry had her disdain, but not her respect. But how could he earn that?
LuLu puffed up and grew a little more intent as the wisp mentioned forgiveness and forgetting. He was going further than she had anticipated. That left her both curious and unnerved. She had expected at least some resistance from the other sigel, but he seemed to be dead set on his path towards redemption. The rabbit felt as though she was loosing her footing all of the sudden.
And then, she was lost in the rush.
Her satisfied smirk fell away with a blink of her lavender eyes. "Beg." The word sounded a bit uncertain on her tongue. It was questioning as though she had never heard the term before.

Everything was thin between Lulu and Eiry. Thin patience, thin temper, thin politeness, everything. Conversely, certain feelings between them were also strong. They both had a strong aggression towards one another but there was also something else, something developing now and Eiry was too flustered to try and figure out what. He was staring at her with focused red eyes, trying to take solace in that he was succeeding in his recent attempts to plea with her instead of the fact that he was breaking his pride over his metaphorical knee. He was getting somewhere with her, not only for the sake of finding a way back home or a place to stay the night, but for their own sake as well. In all honesty, deep down underneath his cankered displeasure with her, he was exhausted from being bitter. He didn't want to keep up with this, and even further down than that, he was tired of having so many enemies. It was time to make peace, no matter the sacrifices that he would have to make.
It was that undercurrent of thinking that allowed him to meet Lulu's radical demand with little hesitation. Just as Lulu's smirk dropped from her lips, so did Eiry's nervous frown. Finally, he had direction, and if she wanted him to beg, he thought with a strengthening of spirit, then he would beg.
Steeling his eyes and setting his jaw, Eiry looked at the rabbit with the utmost serious of faces as he slowly dropped his height, never once breaking eye contact with her lavender gaze. His tattered ribbon curled underneath him on the sidewalk and eventually he set his torso upon it, the glow of his rune bright against the concrete. He put his book to the side, and with both arms free, he clasped his hands together before him, holding them underneath his chin.
"...LuLu, please," he said, in a voice that cracked at first before he found his stability in a more determined phrase, "Please, let us forget our hatred. Please let us reconcile, let us start afresh, let us live in something other than this odious reign of bitterness. I'm tired of hating you, I don't want to feel this way anymore about you. I was cruel and I was insufferable, I was inconsiderate and selfish, and I am so so sorry for everything that I said and did to you that caused you grief."
While the first part of this speech had been a little hard to spit out of his clenched up throat, Eiry was finding that the more and more he spoke, the more he begged, the more relief he felt building up in his chest. This was probably the most honest apology he had ever given, and this was something that had come from a place where he was undoubtedly in the wrong. He realized this now. He had really been a jerk to her, an absolute brat. Dropping his hands from beneath his chin, Eiry planted his palms to the concrete and bend his back double as much as he was able, tucking his fiery wings to his shoulders.
"I know that I haven't really done anything yet to deserve it, but I need your help, now, as kin. Help me, LuLu, please. I beg you, help me get home."

LuLu's eyes widened. When Eiry had said he would beg the younger sigel had not expected grovelling to be a part of the deal. Any potential for a smug getaway fled in that instant. LuLu's confidence ran away with it.
Eiry looked pitiful on the ground. No, beyond pitiful! The way he had fallen prostrate and was whimpering for forgiveness. It was like watching a kicked puppy pleading not to get hit again. He was a far cry from the boisterous prankster who had first earned her ire. LuLu was uncertain how anyone could hold any malice for this pathetic creature and the display it was putting on.
Eiry's skilled theatrics had a way of drawing attention that was not just Lu's.
The rabbit scanned the small crowd which was beginning to form around them. Her lips drew into a thin, strained line as the humans lined up one after the other; each of them wanted their fill of the spectacle. It was getting harder for LuLu to breathe. The air was growing warm and stale as though it was being trapped in by the countless bodies caging them. There was not even a gap large enough for a sliver of light to show through. That was the last straw! LuLu felt like a bully. But on top of that, her cruelty was on show.
It was mortifying! The rabbit squawked the older sigel's name indignantly, "Eiry!" She reached down and clamped her small hand at the back of his pale neck. Her fingers curled tightly into the curly hair at his nape.
The girl then hoisted Eiry up with all her might. The action was more haphazard and messy than she had intended. Both their bodies flopped around before they settled into the obscenely narrow space which was not taken up by the curious crowd.
They slotted against one another and LuLu found herself speaking more loudly than was necessary for their proximity, "Damn it, Eiry! Why did you do that?!" Lu's face was practically set aflame with a bright blush from cheek to cheek. Her expression was frozen in helpless shock. "You were not supposed to go that far!"
Her words then grew muted until they spilled out at a low mumble. She kept that volume as though it would counter her previous roughness, "Shhh, no more begging. Shhhh." Her hand eased at the back of his neck. It was no longer forceful, but served more to ground the wisp.
Lu continued, "Please, stop. I do not like seeing anyone like that. Not even you."She gingerly guided him out of the throng of spectators. A few startled cries erupted from the crowd as they broke free. She tried to ignore them, but Lu was sure her flush deepened to a dark maroon.
Once they were a safe distance away, one which Lu deemed them no longer an eyesore and amounted to a few blocks, she released her elder. "Stay calm." It was not completely apparent if those words were meant for Eiry or herself. "Everything will be okay. Hm?" LuLu leaned in and smoothed her hands over his rumpled collar; though, it looked a bit ridiculous even when it was fixed.
Through that whole process LuLu's gaze was lowered, avoiding Eiry eyes and whatever lingering guilt laid in their red depths. Her tone grew more solemn as she made her own confession, "I have treated you no better." It was true. LuLu had also been full of spite during all of these years. However, ever since her growth, she had turned over a new leaf. LuLu wanted to show that she was not just bile and anger.
Her palms rested just above Eiry's clavicles. She swore she could feel his heart beat thrumming through his whole body. It was pounding so strongly, probably from his impassioned words. His words may have been a bit over the top, but they had served their purpose.
Lu was moved. "I can see how badly you want to be forgiven." Lu dislodged them with a pat on either of Eiry's shoulders. "So I will. I forgive you."
At last, her eyes met his. They had softened to a dewy amethyst and held no more bite. "I hope you can forgive me, too." She felt as though she was revealing something Eiry had never seen before; the most fragile pieces of her self. This was a side she shielded from her enemies in order to protect the weakness it made in her armored exterior. Closing her amiability away meant those who wanted to hurt her had one less angle to attack from.
In spite of that, it appeared as though there was no longer a need for such strong defenses between her and Eiry. "I will help you get home tonight. Please, do not make me regret all this." Her hackles were lowered after so many years and it was both relieving and terrifying. LuLu did not want to hurt Eiry any further, but she also did not want to get hurt by him again.

With his palms against the cold concrete, Eiry didn't notice that his theatrics were drawing forth a crowd of the evening bystanders, passersby, and loiterers. He was focused on the strength of his words, the relieved feeling in his chest like a balloon about to pop. His younger self was mistaken, was wrong in thinking that others would delight in pranks as much as he did, that perhaps they would enjoy the surprise, of being scared. His intuitive nature demanded that he act in such a way, and he knew it was something that he couldn't change about himself, but it was something that he would have to learn to control. The problem wasn't necessarily that he was a prankster, so much as he didn't understand his limits and the limits of others. Now that he was older, he knew better. It was time for him to apologize for overstepping those limits.
So when Lulu's hands pinched around his neck like a vice, her voice calling out his name in tandem, Eiry had very little time to react before he was dragged up from the ground by the other sigel and pulled through a suddenly present crowd of people. Reaching his book just in time, he tucked it tightly to his chest underneath the wrap of his arms just as they pushed past the gathered bodies. The wisp, surprised that he had managed to not only grab the crowd's attention, but Lulu's as well, could only gasp as he was yanked through the people and back out onto the street, led by Lulu's reprimands.
"I did not think that you would appreciate anything less, if I had done anything less you would have seen it as half-baked or insincere!" bleated Eiry as he tensed up like the animal of Lulu's make when her hands tangled with his wavy hair. He held onto his book all the tighter, just managing to snag a confused glance towards Lulu. She was blushing. Blushing? he thought, was she angry, angrier than ever? Had he ruined his chances? Was she going to take him into some dark alley where a crowd couldn't see and take her rightful pound of flesh for his misdeeds? Eiry tensed up all the more, readying himself to take whatever punishment Lulu would deal.
"Shhh, no more begging. Shhhh."
Eiry opened one red eye. The hand that had clamped around the back of his neck had softened. Tentatively, still expecting more rough-housing from the other sigel, he looked at her with nervous anticipation as they floated side by side. She was saying things that he could not believe. Gentle things. Calming things. She was saying that everything was going to be okay. A few blocks away from the site of their confrontation, they drifted near to some quiet dark buildings, peaceful with the oncoming night. She was close, smoothing her hands over his collar, touching him in a way that he didn't expect. To be honest, very little people were ever allowed to be so close to Eiry, he was so nervous and protective of touch, and the only people he allowed himself to interact with physically were his family. Others, he usually snapped into intangibility, avoiding touch altogether. Lulu, on the other hand, had caught him with his defenses down, a rare moment of comfort shared between them as she fixed his clothes. Eiry looked at her in dumb confusion over the rim of his skewed glasses, noticing how she avoided his gaze as she returned her own apology, something Eiry was stunned to hear. With her palms upon his shoulders, his heart beating hard underneath them, he was given what he had asked for: forgiveness.
Their eyes connected, red and lavender, and for the first time in years, they looked upon one another without hate. It was something that Eiry had almost trouble believing, but the proof of sincerity was there before him. The rampaging rabid rabbit that he had wrote her out to be was gone and left behind was a person whom Eiry hadn't the chance before to meet, someone kinder, someone more like himself. Eiry gulped, almost disbelieving this opportunity to restart their relationship, before he let a wobbly smile tug at the edges of his lips as his brows folded in upon themselves. "...Lulu, you already have my forgiveness. You need not ask for it. You deserve that little from me."
When she promised her aid in returning him home, he moved his hand to hers, holding it gently, thankfully, as he breathed his first breath of relief. Cupping her hand in his, he gave her fingers a quick squeeze, before he grinned his relief despite how much his body was trembling from the enormity of it all. "T-thank you, Lulu. You won't regret it!" Then, pulling her hand close, he dragged her into a tight embrace, holding for a long as he needed to express his gratitude before he released her with a helpless chuckle, easing back so he could push his skewed red glasses onto his face. He was safe now. He was better now, better than he ever was! He had made peace with an enemy, proving to himself that forgiveness was real, something that could be attained. His mind wandered back to all the other people he had fought with, and his heart clenched from those thoughts. He had to bite his lip for a moment, before he gave another lopsided smile, thinking about the other people that he could perhaps be better with too.
He tried to focus on the present, though, on getting home. "How do we go about this?" he asked, glancing around for a moment, looking at the unfamiliar town, "Do...Do you live nearby?"

LuLu took a moment to wipe the haze from her eyes. She wanted to believe Eiry's words and treat them as gospel. The fact they had forgiven one another should serve as some sort of promise for good things to come. Yet, the rabbit had some skepticism. Years of bad habits did not die off within the span of a day. Hatred did not rest peacefully. It tossed, turned, and resurfaced until the day it finally faded away.
If she kept up her end of this deal and the wisp did the same with his then there could be hope of this budding friendship lasting and perhaps growing stronger with time. Though, as of right now, it was a truce.
LuLu could not help the quick intake of breath she made when their hands met. It sounded like the faintest whistle through her parted lips. She had been surprised. The other sigel was cooler than expected. His skin felt like sheets in the winter which had been left alone for too long. At first, the touch was almost uncomfortably cold but it grew warmer the longer you lingered.
Then she got a blast of that coolness when Eiry pressed their bodies together. The rabbit fought the urge to squeak, but could not stop the shiver that ran through her. However, soon the cold melted into a cozy warmth they shared. She reached out to place a gentle pat upon Eiry's shoulders. It was timid, but served to remind him that she was indeed there and that this was real.
Eiry pulled away and LuLu followed his lead. She was quickly reminded that they still has to address the matter of returning him to his home. The girl smooth a hand through her braid and pursed her lips in thought. Seconds seemed to tick by and the only thing that developed through her brainstorm was the tension running through her brow. The younger sigel finally said, "I do not, but Josh works here. He will have an idea. He also has a phone and a car. I can take you to his building."
