Perhaps this had been a mistake. Moon River slowly pushed the store door open as she balanced several boxes. Most of them contained new outfits for shows but one tied with a bow was full of sweets for her certain sweetie. Around her neck were several bags all containing lots of fruits, veggies, and revised music. Quite the assortment of things! Today was errand day and for some reason Moon River thought it was an excellent idea to get all her chores done right this moment. What she didn't take into consideration was how difficult it would be to carry everything on her own.
It was a busy street she was hobbling onto with a bustling crowd heading this way and that. The periwinkle pegasus started to flap her wings in hopes she could just fly on home with these goodies but it was much too heavy to maintain a graceful flight. Walking it was.
Moon River huffed and grumbled (with decorum) as she made her way down the road. Suddenly a group of rambunctious rascals whizzed by on their scooters. She tried her hardest to maintain her balance while also avoiding any collisions but it was just too much and everything she had came tumbling to the ground.
"NO!" She shrieked as her starry-eyes looked upon the wreckage. Everything was strewn across the ground and yet there were still phonies walking through it! "H-Hey! Watch where you're going!" Moon barked as she scurried to pick up and put away the clothes that had fallen out of their boxes and the fruit that had rolled off. No one was stopping to help her and there was still so much to collect. Where was her knight in shining armor when you really needed him? It was, to the lass's fright, an absolute mess!
