Nephi was out and about for today, something he rarely ever did. As far as the squires went, he was probably someone who spent more of his time inside, reading about and learning about what he needed to know to become a Knight, than he spent actually walking around and seeing it.
Of course, a lot of that was because he was very literally holed up inside one of the healing houses for a while. Perhaps being inside one of those healing houses for so long was what inspired him to stop sitting inside so much, instead trying to learn more of the City for his own eyes. The City had grown immensely over the past few years, and now it seemed to almost be buzzing with his fellow Light Pae'il. It warmed Nephi's heart to see the angels and demons around, and even some of the fae managed to pull a small smile from him.
It was a small one, though. Those fae had been troublesome types so many weeks ago...
Nephi was just thinking about some of the demons when he saw just that--a demon. She was one colored in red and black, a rather eye-catching combination, though what caught his eyes the most was the fact that she was hauling what looked to be a rather large bowl. Odd. What was she doing that for? Was she transporting something to be bartered, or was she moving something to her apartment? Nephi inched a bit closer, as curious and inquisitive as he ever had been. What was ...
Were those little sausage links?
It was a bowl of food. Nephi blinked, pausing in his steps as he watched the older demon. Well. it was a rather large amount of food to be carrying around. Where did she get that from? Was that from one of the recent festivals? He did recognize that type of food from a recent festival, when he thought about it. Was she allowed to take that? "Excuse me, ma'am!" he called, nearing the older demon. "Where did you get that food?"shadica omg I'm so slow I'm sorry. And this post is rambly. u u;;;

Rose had enjoyed the festival, although it had been close to being over when she arrived. She had found it fun to wander around the stalls and look at what they had for sale. The beach it was held on had been beautiful and the sound of the waves was soothing. Not to mention the free food. She was glad that despite that fact that they were on a beach the food was up on stands high enough that there wasn't anyway they could get sand on them. Unless someone deliberately poured sand on the food,That was the biggest problem with beaches, sand in your food.
There had been plenty of food left when she had gone over to the food section and they happened to have her favorite food, Cocktail wieners. She had helped herself to a large bowl and by the time she was done she noticed that there wasn't many people left. There was still a ton of food though. She figured that no one would mind if she took some home with her, so she grabbed one of the largest bowls they had and filled it with food. It wasn't smuggling if you didn't attempt to hide it.
She was half way home with the food when someone called out to her. She turned to face the younger demon. She wasn't sure why she was so nervous about him asking were she got the food, it was FREE food after all and its not like there was anyone left to eat it. She paused for am moment to figure out how to explain how she procured the hot dogs. "I got them from the festive, the sign said it was free and there wasn't a lot of people there and the staff didn't say anything when I walked out with it, I went right by them so I figured it was okay."
