DON'T GET TOO CLOSE ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
◆ Others See Him To be short with this, it's easiest to say that other people see Lindsay as a girl. A little girl who loves nothing more than to stay inside and read books of far off places. At his muggle school, he is seen as someone who always seems to know the answer and is always quite passionate about being correct. As such, he can be seen as being a bit arrogant. He doesn't really stand up much for himself and takes bullying silently, though it does affect him. Whenever something needed to be organized, he would be right there to put it all in order.
◆ Deep Down Deep down, Lindsay enjoys nothing more than being different. He wishes that he could run away to a world where things were more interesting, and so he is quite amazed by the wizarding world and the fact that it exists. He does worry from time to time about having people around who accept him. Being different is fine, but being alone and different is something completely different. So, when he gets a friend, he will likely stick with them until the end. Unless they do something so stupid that he feels the need to gossip about them, but he is convinced that everyone does that. He is someone who is very focused on his work and always tries to do his best on them. He's hardly satisfied with poor marks.
◆ Fatal Flaw Lindsay's fatal flaw is that he is convinced that everything will turn out like in books. He thinks that he can have a perfect life, and can be a bit too trusting at times.

STARE INTO THE PENSIEVE ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
◆ Muggle Life When Lindsay Iver Hay was born, his parents, a young couple known as Duncan and Janet, the expectation was for him to be a normal little boy, free to be whoever he wanted to be. He grew up in Glasgow, Scotland where he always seemed to be a normal little boy. His parents were happily married and employed. Life was exactly how everyone thought it should be.
At the age of five, Lindsay started school. He never really got along much with the other little boys, as they were too much into causing trouble and getting dirty. He preferred the girls, as they would be quieter and loved reading and using their imaginations. Things that he liked very much. And so it was then that Lindsay became a bookworm. He would have his parents read him a story whenever they could and when he was old enough to read on his own, he would have a habit of hiding books under his pillow to read.
At the age of nine, Lindsay started realizing things that would change his life. The first, was that when his parents told him not to read books after the lights had been turned out because his eyes would go bad, they weren't lying to him. He ended up having to get glasses, which is something that he really didn't mind, since he feels that they make him look quite intelligent. The second, and perhaps more important was that Lindsay realized that he wasn't like the other boys. He acted quite a bit like a girl, and he even possibly might like boys. Given his age, he didn't think it possible, since hardly any nine year olds dated. He thought the concept to be weird, but as time went on, he found it to be a true.
A couple of years later, Lindsay realized something else that would change his life forever. On his eleventh birthday, a knock came on the door, revealing a woman who claimed to be something she called a Hogwarts School Governor. She had a letter for the boy inviting him to study at a school for witches and wizards, something that it turned out, Lindsay was.
Lindsay Hay was certainly far from normal.
◆ Diagon Alley As it got closer to the start of his first term at Hogwarts, the governor came to take Lindsay to Diagon Alley to go shopping for items that he would need. He was amazed by everything he saw there. He had thought that all of that only existed in storybooks, and here it was, right in London.
It took him a couple of hours to get used to the wizarding currency, and when he did, he found himself in one of his favorite places to be in: a bookstore. He just wanted to buy every single book in the place, but settled on his textbooks and a couple of other books. He even managed to read Hogwarts: A History cover to cover before a week had passed.
◆ Hogwarts Years Lindsay wasn't too sure where he was going to end up as he approached the Sorting Hat. Sure, he had done enough reading to know of the four houses, but he wasn't sure if it was enough to make it into Ravenclaw. However, he was sorted into Rowena Ravenclaw's house. He had a relatively uneventful year until later on when he tried to investigate why one of the ghosts looked so young. It was then that he was affected by a mysterious sleeping curse. Having nobody but the ghost, Erianthe to look after him, he slept in the dungeon, only to be awakened later on when the curse had been broken.

ON THE INSIDE ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
◆ Likes
Books have always been a great escape for Lindsay from his day to day life. He loves them for their ability to take him to places he may never get to go to and for allowing him to have adventures in his mind, where it's much safer.
As someone who almost always knows the answer, Lindsay loves to be correct. It gives him a chance to show off and be proud of himself.
Lindsay loves his tea, and he loves having tea sets that go perfectly with the season or a theme. He collects them and loves to show them off.
Lindsay is quite the talented piano player. He loves being around pianos and always has to make an effort to play it when ever he's around one.
Out of the two languages that Lindsay knows, Gaelic is his favorite simply because fewer people speak it.
◆ Dislikes
This just annoys Lindsay to no end. Sure, he plays piano, but he sees jazz as being obnoxious, so it's probably best to not ask him to play anyone.
Lindsay just sees no point in watching the stars. He doesn't think they affect him and he finds them rather boring.
Pastels are okay, but overly bright colors just cause Lindsay to want to tear his eyes out.
Because he bruises easily, Lindsay doesn't want to get hurt. Emotionally or physically.
