Tyche lead the group of explorers and eager scientist wannabes towards the site. His demeanor was calm despite the chilling message they had got prior to leaving. A set of eyes flicked about to scan their surroundings. Something was lurking in the shadows but Tyche was not afraid. In fact his whole body language suggested a faint air of superiority. He had already figured this all out. He has seen it before, countless times. Threaten your enemy and hope they retreat. If they still venture out, ambush them. If they defend themselves, kill them. However the latter would not occur today. Not while Tyche was presence. He would defend the group with every fiber of his being - when the time would arise. The Warriors needed a chance to sharpen their skills after all. If he sat there and treated them like infants they would never have the chance to grow as a Pockettu. Stopping in the middle of the excavation site the God raised a set of hands. "We do not wish to fight. We come in peace."
When no sudden movements or sounds were heard Tyche turned to his group. He radioed in to the crash site so they can hear as well. "Be alert. They are aware we are here and are watching us. Some may have headed towards the crash site but do not worry. Radio us if required. We proceed with our mission - collect samples." He paused and turned to his immediate group. "Stay close. Do not venture far. Gather mutated fauna and flora. Soil samples required. Water samples required. Those back at crash site - begin monitoring heat sensors. "

Yatola followed her god and the small group of others. Stowing the plasma pistol in her belt she remained an alert as they entered the excavation site. Her eyes darted about feeling as though they were being watched. Turning her attention to Tyche as he spoke she remained aware of her surroundings. Having obtained her instructions she moved to begin taking samples. A task that she was no stranger to having explored deep space for her lord. Xoyyuzh watched the monitors as his god left with the exploring group. He had an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach and for once hoped that the things he had 'seen' would not come to fruition.

Dendrobrium attempted to insert him into the heart of clustered followers. He felt more protected knowing the ones with weapons surrounded him. He had taken the gear he needed for this assignment. Mainly lots of little bottles and bags for the specimens he gathered. He nervously checked, and rechecked, the collection tools he had carried along with him in a over the shoulder messenger bag. Upon the arrival of their destination, Dendro stood up on his tip toes to peer through the cluster of heads at their surroundings. Already his heart rate had picked up, though he wasn't positive if it was from fear or anticipation. His glowing aqua eyes lifted to peer at Tyche when the God first called out to the more then likely lurking enemies. Then he addressed them. Dendro's head bobbed, causing bound up hair to flip back and forth. "Yes Lord." He intoned with a respectful half bow. Dendrobrium dropped his gaze to the ground as he slipped his way to the edge of the group. He stopped though, and toed off his slippers before he actually began to collect samples. Dendrobrium's blue feet had small roots pressed to their bottoms. With his slippers off, he gently extended his roots so he could test the soil for potential mutations. At the same time he began to gently search the plant life for any odd signs of mutation.

Yellowjacket turns her attention to the monitors as well, keeping her eyes on the area around where her god and the group were at. Sabian frowns and watches the area around the ship, just to make sure that he did his part to protect those within it should the need arise. "I will watch around the ship... My lord." He says in his usual tone of voice. Maleficar's tail sways behind her as she stops near the others out in the field, her eyes glancing around and keeping an eye out for possible dangers to the others and Tyche, her sharp teeth bared in a sneer of sorts, almost as if she were subconsciously warning the Cursed away. Requiem's own tail flicks irritably behind him as he glares out into the wilderness around them, obviously trying to use his entire posture as a warning to whatever might lurk out there. Wynter Storm appears as if he's oblivious to the tension in the warriors that went with them to the excavation site, blank smile plastered on his face as he sets about floating around in his water bubble carefully collecting samples. Despite appearances, he was very well aware of each of the others around him, but because Tyche seemed calm, Wynter didn't feel the need to add to the stress of the situation by being panicky or scared himself. Seeing his lord at ease was more than enough for him.

Limax moved smoothly along the perimeter of the small group, his bulk flattening the grass and creating a for now harmless and slightly damp trail. He was alert and ready to revert his body to toxic the instant trouble should arise. He may have been late to the previous happenings on board the ship and even then not have much to contribute in the way of words (he was more conditioned for action than words anyway), but he was ready to protect his leader and the other followers with his life. Let them come and mistake his slow-associated form as weak; others had done so before and they had only found how dangerous a mistake they had made when they perished from either his natural toxic secretions or the business end of his weapon. His jaw was set, his hand steady; no harm would befall his kind on his watch! While the decision to venture forth or remain on the ship had been no decision at all for his fellow follower, Pretinama had found himself utterly torn. He was no fighter and would not serve that purpose well, but neither would he be able to continue his quest to bring about peace if he remained inside the ship, hidden away. He had heard of these cursed and that they were generally not ones open to simply sitting down and coming to any sort of compromise, and the message had made it clear that they weren't interested in that. But he knew also that he was not adept at sample collecting; in his eyes, everything was special and unique; he would end up selecting one of everything and doubtless bringing back what his deity would not find useful to their cause. His compromise had not been perfect, but it suited him well; he chose to remain vigilant outside of the ship, where he would not be in the way of the warriors. If anything, should he spot anything unusual with his single, large, focused eye, he would be able to get word quickly to the defenders still inside the ship's belly.

Angus was giddy with anticipation as they headed towards the site. Twirling his weapon in hand he stuck close to those gathering samples, and scanned the horizon eagerly with a smirk on his features, daring their hidden guests to try something.

"You fools fell right into my trap!" A voice cried out from the shadows. A snarl followed along with a war cry to attack.
Tyche still made no notion of being afraid. He acted as if this was all a casual stroll in the park. He held his lower set of hands at a low "at ease" to his followers. Their true target was not them directly. If it were so they would have been rushed and attacked the moment they got there. Tyche began to think the Cursed weren't that bright. At least not this group. "Crash site - be prepared. We speculate they are after the research."
It would make sense - they did after all manipulate one of their own. Destroy that research and it would take months to recreate the process. Well... normally it would. Tyche wasn't one to just leave such valuable information lying around. When the first cursed appeared Tyche's pupils dilated, his vicious teeth-filled grin appeared and within the blink of an eye he was gone.
Within the next few sections it all seemed one swift blur. One of the Cursed rushing towards the base was snatched into the air and soon tangling by an ankle, Tyche's tailed wrapped around it tightly.
"Put me down you filthy inbred alien!" The Cursed snarled. "Fight fair so I can tear those teeth straight from your mouth!"
The insults probably didn't even make it to Tyche's ears clearly. The moment the Cursed had opened his mouth to spew insults and threats Tyche haphazardly tossed him towards the warriors that accompanied them. "Defeat him. Those researching - continue to do so. We will ensure your safety. Crash site - one is heading your way. Prepare."

Enemy Encounter! "Tch you inbred morons don't fight fair!"This is for the Warriors who are on the excavation team only. He seems pissed at being humiliated and bested by your Lord. His ambushed failed but he still seeks to shred some blood. Stand your ground and protect your fellow followers! Rules: I will generate a random number between 1 and 10. Your goal is to get a number higher than mine. The person with the highest number wins this Cursed. If no one beats my number we do another round until someone wins! If there is a tie we will do another round with those who are tied to declare a winner. [[You have until 5pm EST tomorrow to roll before the story proceeds. If everyone who applies rolls I will continue the game <3]]

Requiem snarls at the Cursed attacking now and charges, firing at the Cursed's legs in an effort to immobilize him. His thoughts were that if they could capture one of the enemy, the scientists and their lord could do some more in-depth study of the Curse and how it was spread. When he got close enough, he then rears up and kicks at the Cursed with his front legs, attempting to knock the Cursed over.
Maleficar had faded into the shadows when their lord had thrown the Cursed over to them, making her way around behind him while Requiem fought with him. Rather than using the weapon she had taken, she dashes out of the shadows and swings her tail at the Cursed, hoping to help knock him off balance and immobilize him.

Yatola wasn't scared when the cursed began to rush in, but within moments she had drawn her plasma gun. As her lord tossed the vile cursed one over to them she was quick to skitter closer and loose multiple rounds at the cursed, aiming to immobilize him. Taking careful aim as to not hit her fellow followers attacking him at a much closer proximity.
Xoyyuzh tensed as the action began. He had already know this was an inevitability, it was the fractured bits of violence and loss that he had 'seen' that brought him anxiety. In an attempt to vanquish the images from his mind and focus on aiding his lord and fellow followers his fingers began to fly expertly across the various keypads and buttons. "Come if you dare." He muttered quietly to himself.

Athanios raised her tool and charged the cursed. No one attacks her god and fellow followers and gets a way with it.
Colin prepared for the arrival of what could come. He doubt much could get into the crash site, because he trusted in Tyche's defenses and his fellow followers abilities to protect Tyche, but you never know and should always be prepared.

The incoming Cursed caused Limax to bristle with excitement; how ridiculous it looked being thrown aside by his leader like a meddlesome insect! Would this even be much of a challenge? Whether it would be or not didn't much matter; now was the chance to show the ones threatening his leader just what it was they were up against!
His large body began to glow as the ooze he naturally produced became toxic, sizzling the very ground he stood on. He would have loved to throw himself at the offender and cover him with slime, but even he knew better than to rush into an attack without first gauging the threat level. Reaching back, he rubbed his fingers over the back of his tail and came away with a generous amount of toxic, glowing ooze, which he quickly flung at the cursed.

Angus watched the whole senario unfold. He tensed at first, ready for the incoming foe, but was surprised as Tyche dangled the cursed in the next second. When he tossed him to the warriors as if a piece of meat to be eaten, he grinned, and floated in to take a swing at him with his blade, careful not to hit any of the others in the process.

Dendrobrium's head snapped up and he froze in place at the cry of the cursed. He twisted about, attempting to follow the movement of his God. He was incredibly fast, and it was awe inspiring. When Tyche would call his orders out, Dendro took a deep breath. he squared his shoulders and resumed collecting samples as he had been directed. "Don't look. Focus..." He murmured to himself as he edged along in the grass.

Pollux drifted along, choosing to hover protectively around the researchers, his tentacles twitching as he watched his fellow followers take on the cursed. Tyche's reaction to the cursed's attempted ambush had been most impressive, aw inspiring almost. And the way his fellow followers were handling the cursed now was certainly applaudable. Well, if he had hands.
Drifting closer to the ruckus, Poll glanced at the weapon his tentacle arm was wrapped-more like stuck- around, a blade of some sort, he thought. When he had the chance, he smacked at the cursed in an experimental manner before drifting back to get out of others way.(I know I didn't generate a number, sitting this game out xD) Everything seemed to be moving so fast, but Blue was taking it in stride. She listened through her headphone, her gaze locked on the screen. If the cursed wished to attack, she was certain that they would fail. Even without the power that Tyche seemed to possess, from what she had seen, her fellow followers were not pushovers. Where Blue was calm, Flicker was a nervous twittery mess. Beneath his backwards headphones, his glowing antennae twitched in time with his wings. His clawed toes taped out a beat on the floor in time with his fingers drumming on the glass jar. "Trouble, yes?"
