 { YUMI MIHA }Yumi took a deep breath and dived into the ocean, swimming as far down as her breath could take her. When she got as far as she could take, she grabbed a few seashells and swam back up to the surface. She gasped for air and swam to shore, throwing her sack of shells on the shore. She was the princess of her kingdom, but acted nothing of it. She snuck out often, like today, and never did as told. She examined her seashells, holding them up to her ears then up to the sun taking note ofwhat each shell looks like. She checked the time and sighed, "Not enough time in the morning..." she said softly before grabbing the satch and ran back to the castle as fast as she could. She tried her best to brush the water and the tangles out of her hair by the time she got there.

{ YUMI MIHA }Yumi climbed through her bedroom window, trying to be as sneaky as possible. "Going somewhere?" she heard a voice say. She yelped and looked up to see her mother staring down at her. She shook her head, "No... Coming back...." she said softly. "Yumi I told you to stop swimming in the ocean! You are a princess and princesses don't do that!" she yelled. Yumi winced, "But why? Why can't I swim?!" she argued. Her mother just shook her head and left. Yumi threw her bag on her bed and jumped beside it in frustration, "Ugh! I don't understand!" she yelled.

 Aslan soon began to swim towards the beach, a part of the beach which was empty at the moment. It didn't take him long to get there before he finally made his way to the shallow waters. He used his hands to help him move and he got to the sand, he touched the warm sand and instantly smirked. He soon slid himself up so he was sitting on it and he laid on his back. It was peaceful out of the water. His tail was still partially in the water though, his fins moving as he laid there. He closed his silver colored eyes and took in the way everything was so quiet unlike everything in the sea. ooc ;; - - -

{ YUMI MIHA }Yumi hurriedly grabbed her bag of seashells and snuck out the window and back toward the beach. She felt the sand meet her feet and smiled, not noticing the mermaid a few feet away from her. She sat on the sand and took out the seashells, lifting them to the sun again, "She doesn't understand... Why can't anyone see how beautiful the ocean is?" she said to herself, "I want to be a mermaid... If they existed...." she said, chuckling herself. She stood up and began standing on a rock that was just on the shallow ends of the water. She stared at the sea and sighed.

Everything was calm and peaceful until he heard a voice. His eyes shot open and he looked over to see Yumi. He quickly sat up and hurried in the water. The only thing that was heard was the splash and the end of his tail might have been seen by her if she looked in time. Honestly, his father had locked the thought in his mind that humans were horrid creatures. At first it was something he was worried about, but as he swam away, he paused. Maybe he could make an appearance? He turned and slowly swam back to the beach, watching from the waters. ooc ;; - - -

] { YUMI MIHA }Yumi heard the splash but assumed it was just a fish. She shrugged it off and sat on the rock, "I wish I could live in the sea....being able to swim as far down as I want, getting away from all this princess stuff. I wish I could just grow a tail and-" she never finished as she slipped off the rock and slammed her head onto the sand, hard enough to make her unconscious as she driftedfurther into the water.

Aslan could hear what she was saying, but it was a bit muffled with him being underwater. Although he quickly swam towards her the moment she slipped and slammed her head onto the sand. He grabbed her and pulled her out of the water. It was difficult with him not having feet honestly, but he plopped himself in a sitting position and had her in his arms. He looked down at her, looking over her features. She was... Just like him... Just with legs. His eyes traveled down towards her feet and instantly he admired the human legs. ooc ;; - - -

{ YUMI MIHA }Yumi slowly opened her eyes and saw Aslan's face she smiled, "You.... Saved me..." she said softly. She sat up, feeling his scales under her hand. She nearly screamed then looked up at him, "Your... A merman!" she said happily. Her face turned to pure joy, "Oh my gosh, your real!" she said happily. she then stopped, not wanting to scare him, "Who are you? Whats your name?" she asked, eyes full of hope.

Aslan shifted his attention to her face and saw her eyes opening and a smile cam to her lips. "Of course..." He let out. Although when she started speaking of him being a merman, he nodded and then helped her sit up. Once he got her up, he brought his hands back to himself and looked down towards his tail for a moment. "I.... Am Prince of the Sea... Aslan is best though." He let out and glanced towards her, "What is your name, human?" He asked as he shifted closer towards her. He wasn't exactly familiar with a thing called personal boundaries. ooc ;; - - -

{ YUMI MIHA }Yumi chuckled a bit when he said prince of the sea. She then smiled, "I am Yumi, princess of .... Well, that little kingdom back there." she said, pointing to her castle. She smiled looked at him closely, "Do all merpeople look so.... Human?" she asked bluntly. She examind his tail and felt the scales gently, "Woah! Its so smooth!" she said with a smile. This whole thing reverted her back to when she was a child and she dreamed of being a mermaid. Seeing up close brought her dreams to life.

The male reached up and pushed hair out of his face. His hair was so long due to the fact he never cut it. He huffed out and looked over as she pointed to the castle. "So you live there." He blinked and smiled. Although he backed up slightly when she continued to examine him and touch his tail. It was weird to be touched by a human. "Yes, everyone looks very human I have noticed. I wasn't too sure what humans looked like until I saw you. My father tends to tell us stories about you being horrid creatures that will take us to put us on display." He shrugged softly. "But... You don't seem too bad to me. Actually, I've always wanted to have my own pair of legs." He said as he looked down at his tail, moving the fins. ooc ;; - - -

{ YUMI MIHA }Yumi laughed a bit when he called them Horrid creatures, "Well humans aren't as better, we have tales of sea monsters eating pirates and we all thoight mermaids weren't real." she said with a chuckle before sighing a bit, "Well thats ironic, I always wanted to be a mermaid. I want to explore the bottom of the sea and find out whats down there. Ot seems so much prettier than in the human world." she said wirh a sigh. She then smiled and stared at his hair, "You know, you should cut that. Hair can get stuck in a lot of places." she said with a laugh, "Up here, elders are known to call men girls with hair like that." she explained.

Aslan raised a brow listening to her, "Wow... Eating pirates? That is disgusting. Those men can't keep themselves clean." He huffed out and shook his head. "Besides, we eat seaweed mostly." He smirked. "As for being in the sea, it isn't as great as it seems." He sighed and pushed hair out of his face. He frowned the moment she brought up his hair. "My hair is a fine length. I've seen longer." He shrugged then moved to the water and soon went under. He came up soon after and held his hand out to her. "Come with me. I wish to show you something." There were ways to get humans to breathe underwater, but they had to eat a certain sort of seaweed to do so. ooc ;; - - -
