Lukas opened the door to the classroom just down from the Hospital Wing. He waved his wand and writing appeared on the board. 'Welcome to Healing II' it read. Lukas turned to the class as they entered. "Hello, and Welcome to Healing II, as you should remember, I am Professor Lukas Brighton, I am also the head nurse." He introduced himself. It seems I have quite a good group of students. he thought as he looked at the class. "Now during this year we will be learning how to heal spell and curse damage, including stunning, and how to heal common viruses and infections." he said. "Now, can you tell me what we studied last year?" he asked.

Lukas smiled at his students before waving his wand at the board. A group of ewards appeared "Spell and Curse Healing" it read. Lukas looked at his class. "Spells and Curses. They can do quite a bit of damage, and with the proper counter charms, the victim can be as good as new. As many of you learned, the best counter charms are Finite and Finite Incantatem." he said. Let's see how well they follow along. he thought before continuing. "But these do not always work. In those rare occasions, you must use the diagnoses charm, and treat them the difficult way, hospitalization and potions." he said. "Today we will be brewing a potion that will cure most hexes and curses." he said as he waved his wand and the recipe appeared on the board.

"Now during this year we will be learning how to heal temporary blindness, repair and regrow bones, and the lung clearing charm." he said. "Now, can you tell me what we studied last year?" he asked.

Healing Temporary Blindness
Ointment - Caecus Tempus potion

Lukas stepped within his classroom, seeing as no students had arrived quite yet. He wrote the new instructions on the board and waited. "Today you will be brewing his potion, be careful, if you make a mistake it will not heal temporary blindness but burn you skin." he said. He waved his wand and the words began to appear.

Take 2lbs of Giant Hogweed (already measured) and place them within your cauldron. Add in 1 cup of Vinegar, 8 scoops of wartcap powder, 9 Porcupine Quills, and 5 Powders. Heat rapidly until boiling, stir counter clockwise until potion turns pink. Remove from heat and and stir 10 times clockwise.


Lesson 3

Bone repair and regrowth
Brackium Emendo, Episkey


Lukas smiled and wrote two spells on the board. It read two spells: Episkey and Brackium Emendo. Below that he wrote the recipe for Skele-Gro. "Today we will be discussing how to heal broken bones, and regrow bones. Two very similar but very different things." he said to his class. "Now to fix minor breakes you would usually use, Episky, to heal a larger break, such as a arm or a leg, you would use Brackium Emendo." he said. He then indicated the potion recipe at the bottom of the board. "And this potion, Skele-Gro, can regrow bones. Today you will be practicing the wand movements and brewing the potion." he said.
