I think it's because I'm not walking around campus all day anymore, but I try to eat well but it's just so frustrating.
Although really the worst part is that all my extra weight is situated right around my hips. Specifically, the part of my stomach right under my belly button is huge (or it feels like it) and has recently been developing these really nasty looking stretch marks.
Josh and I keep saying we're going to buy an elliptical but neither of us wants to put the money on one right now...

I feel awkward saying this, but are you sure you're not pregnant?

THAT WAS MY FIRST REACTION TOO DON'T WORRY
But even though I've not taken a pregnancy test, I'm on birth control and take it correctly, I've had my period reliably every month since this has happened, and I've not had any other symptoms. And also I can jiggle the area and it feels like fat, not baby. Considering this started in December/January, I would be full of baby by now. So I'm 99% confident that I'm not.

I'd go to the doctor. My friend had gained a ton of weight over the year, and turns out she had diabetes.

I'm definitely going to bring it up next time I have an appointment. c: I certainly hope it's not anything that serious, I think I just like snack foods too much.
