Eelektross levitated from ground; screeching and raising its arms in joy. Eelektross, out of all of Jonathan's Pokemon, had always been the one to enjoy battle the most. Jonathan kept the same composure and expression; and looked at the girl straight in the eyes. "Double Battle. Your move first.", he said bluntly. It was part of his strategy to always make his opponent move first. It was his way of finding out what kind of battle strategies they would use. He didn't seem like it, but Jonathan was highly skilled at observation and deduction.

Seeing the man taking out his Eelektross, she sighed and picked up her Pachirisu and set it down next to Prinplup. Her Leafeon wouldn't have any effect on the Eelektross nor the Slaking. Of course she would be holding it. A few tricks up her sleeve. Her Pachirisu would take on his Eelektross while Prinplup woul deal some damage to his Slaking. She only hoped it didn't become lazy during the battle... She smiled softly at the boy and nodded at both her cuties. Prinplup ran head first to Slaking and used Metal Claw while twisting at the same time. It was clear that Niomi played and trained her partners to do unusual moves. Pachirisu quickly dashed at the Eelektross and used Hyper Fang, while Niomi held Leafie in her arms, cuddling him like she did when she got him.

「XXXXEelektross dodged Pachirisu's Hyper Fang instinctively by swiftly using its slender physique. Eelektross positioned itself behind Slaking who had gotten up and standing on all fours at this point. Slaking however, just took Prinplup's attack in the torso giving it some damage but it didn't move the Lazy Pokemon whatsoever. "Eelektross use Gastro Acid on Slaking! Slaking use Earthquake!", Jonathan yelled. Eelektross expelled a stream of green liquid which would supress its Truant Ability onto Slaking which intensified its appearance by making its fur look darker with a tint of green. He looked almost like a swamp monster. Slaking screeched as he raised its arms in the air then smashed them onto the floor, creating and Earthquake in the immediate area which would hit both Prinplup and Pachirisu.

Niomi watched at his combination technique. It wasn't bad but the Ground attack didn't effect Prinplup nor Pachirisu much. They simply danced away graciously before hugging each other and jumped into the air. Pachirisu released a lightening bolt just as Prinplup unleashed BubbleBeam. The two combinations mixed and it made a electricfied, BubbleBeam. The two Pokemons were already close to the swamp looking Slaking and Eelektross that it would be nearly impossible to miss...much that Slaking was fat and wouldn't move. Meanwhile, Niomi was just watching, never even saying one word of command like "Attack" or "Use X!" or anything. She stood there, moving her eyes around the field, looking absolutely normal.

「XXXXSlaking took the improvised move involving a water and lightning. Slaking fell to his back, seemingly from the attack, but in actuality Jonathan had trained his Slaking to use Slack Off after every attack ,except for one attack, whenever its special ability had been suppressed unless told otherwise.. It made Jonathan seem uncaring for his Slaking by doing so which often fooled his opponents.Jonathan didn't give a reaction to Nimio's improvised attack. He found it petty and cheap. Before Slaking had falllen to Slack Off however, he pointed Prinplup and decided to take hold of the opportunity he saw with Slaking falling down. "Eelektross use Wild Charge!", he said with a slight hint of blood thirst in his voice. Eelektross slid under Slakings feet as and swiftly moved in front of Prinplup, tackling it full force while covered in electricity.

Prinplup dodged the attack from Eelektross and landed near Niomi. She gave it brightful smile, saying that she was happy with how they are battling. She noted that Slaking had fallen on its back but she wouldn't be fooled. The combination attack would deal normal-effective damage but not super effective. She took a hand and moved it over at Slaking. While the Eelektross was busy with trying to attack Prinplup, she ordered to Pachirisu,"Pachi! Use Hyper Fang at Slaking!" and at that moment, Pachi-sama ran and jumped in the air as it used Hyper Fang at the laying Slaking. Niomi had dealer with a powerful Slaking before, first when she was 15. The outcome was horrible because her cute Prinplup was knocked out. The second was with Pachirisu. She took note about its Slack Off move, which it used against her so many times that it drove her insane.

「XXXXJonathan smiled when Pachirisu went to attack Slaking. "Block it with your arm then use Earthquake, Slaking", Jonathan said calmly. Try dodging that, he thought. Slaking would get bit by Pachirisu's Hyper Fang, slightly grimacing in pain, but as its teeth were still sunk into his arm he smashes his arm onto the ground to create another Earthquake which would not only affect Pachirisu but Prinplup as well. Eelektross, on the other hand, remained unaffected thanks to his Levitate ability but he would charge up and tackle Prinplup with another Wild Charge as the Earthquake occurred without orders. It was just like Eelektross to get excited in battle like that. Jonathan knelt down to one knee and put one hand on the floor, as the Earthquake is fairly close, to keep his balance. Nonetheless, Jonathan grinned and was proud of his Pokemon's performance.

Pachirisu wasn't expecting to be smashed and then smashed again by an earthquake. It was clearly knocked out after the attack. Leafeon went into the battle field to drag him back to Niomi who with open arms hugged it softly. Prinplup on the other hand was more powerful than her Pachirisu. It was waddling away from the Earthquake just as it was hit by Eelektross's Wild Charge. He still stayed up strong and used Metal Claw on the Eelektross as it spun and released a furious Brine at Slaking. Niomi fed her Pachirisu a Revive and hoped that it worked.

Prinplup swung for a Metal Claw at Eelektross but Eelektross would slither behind Prinplup-- a tactic that Jonathan taught in terms of dodging was to follow an opponents backside. Once Prinplup had swung a Metal Claw, it would fire a Brine at Slaking. Slaking however, swiftly rolled sideways to dodge it. Jonathan yawned mockingly then pointed at Prinplup. His expression began to turn more laid back and relaxed. This battle to him, no longer required his full effort. "Eelektross use Bind on Prinplup's legs then Slaking use Brick Break sideways across its face", he said sleepily. Eelektross would wrap its body around Prinplups legs while Slaking will follow up by chargin straight at Prinplup, with every step giving off a small tremor due to his size, then delivering a sideways Brick Break to Prinplups face.

Niomi didn't want to release her Pachirisu back in. She wouldn't stand a chance since she still was a bit inexperienced. Her Prinplup was totally knocked out but it was carried back to Niomi by Leafeon. She gave it a revive and patted his head. Giving the participated and non participated Pokemons some cookies, she stuffed 15% of her money in her hand and gave it to Eelektross as it drifted back to its owner. Niomi didn't look at the champion because she lost, her attention was at her hurt cuties. Putting bandages on their wounds, she carried all of them in her arms but her Leafie decided to ride in her bag. She then stood up, not pouting that she lost or how he had an advantage of her or how his Pokemon was stronger, she was only happy that her beasties were with her, safe and happily eating. She turned her back to Jonathan and began to walk away.
