Thor, like all Asgardians, has skin that is denser than a normal Human, as well as a quickened metabolism that allows him to regenerate his cells quickly. Thanks to this, he is unable to become drunk, poisoned, or diseased by Midgardian standards.
The majority of his power comes from the hammer Mjolnir, which allows him to Conjure Lightning and call storms to his aid. With this hammer, he can also throw it and call it back to himself, which he has learned to use to deadly and efficient effect. While holding onto the leather strip, he can use the hammer to propel himself through the air, effectively flying across landscape as easily as a jet.
His weaknesses stem from higher forms of magic and strength. And though his skin is denser than most human metals, higher caliber bullets and any blades made of Vibranium or Adamantium are also capable of piercing his skin and causing bodily harm. And while invulnerable to most lesser forms of powers affecting the mind, the powers of those such as Professor X are able to affect him as easily as if he were a normal human.
Weapons: Mjolnir, forged in the heart of a dying star, Mjolnir is where a majority of Thor's power rests. Those who are not worthy, nor deemed worthy by either Thor or Odin can not lift Mjolnir, nor can they wrest control of the hammer from Thor.

History: The Son of Odin and Frigga, Thor grew up a privileged childhood, where under the tutelage of Odin, alongside his brother Loki, he learned the many aspects of ruling. Despite Odin's stern teachings, Thor found his own freedom in battle and training, revering the opportunity to fight at any moment, which alongside his legendary temper, gained him the title 'Warrior Prince' before he was even crowned. Early in his lifetime, Odin arranged for the brothers to meet Lady Sif, in hopes of helping Thor push aside his lust for battle. In fact, this had nearly an opposite effect when Thor and Sif became extremely close, much to Loki's wroth. From here, Thor began to become rooted heavily into his training in order to build himself to be able to protect Sif, and the ones he loved. In the wake of his battle training, Odin's teachings of actually ruling fell behind, the boy pushing the use of force and warfare when asked his opinion on certain matters, such as the deteriorating relationship between Asgardians and Frost Giants of Jotunheim. Despite his heated blood, and swift temper, he was gifted the Mystical Hammer, Mjolnir to use, Odin stating that the hammer was for 'Building a strong rule, as well as protecting those he ruled.'
When Loki had simply pranked Sif, Thor was in rage, demanding that he pay recompense of what he had taken, and promising violence were Sif not satisfied. Odin, hearing of the incident from several guards, frowned upon this, and called Thor to the Throne of Asgard. When confronted with his temper, and his violent ways, Thor reacted in another rage, lashing out at the King of Asgard. For his impudence and lust for violence, Thor was banished to Midgard, around 9AD, where he found refuge among the Scandinavian tribes. Through many years of depression at the loss of all he had, he eventually integrated himself within the tribes, of which every year had taken a pilgrimage to a cave, where the hammer Mjolnir sat embedded upon a rock below a wide opening, in which light poured onto the tool, giving it an almost divine light. Upon seeing Mjolnir for the first time, Thor did not have time for remembrance nor any other emotion or activity. A great roar erupted from the darkness of the cave, and a great bear came into the light, threatening the lives of every man and woman who had entered. In a desperate attempt to save those who had become his friends, he bid them to leave and leaped at the bear in order to occupy it's attention.
The resulting self-sacrifice had awoken the spark within Mjolnir, and being deemed worthy by Odin, the hammer exploded into light and thunder, finding it's way to the Asgardian's grasp. With Mjolnir, Thor easily bested the bear, saving the lives of the men and woman, who watched in awe as the God stared down at them. Before Thor was able to speak, Odin pulled him from the realm, returning his Title and privileges to the man. When greeted by his friends, he rejoiced for three days, a smile never leaving his face, even in the wake of Sif's now brown hair and Loki's pranks.
Thor has been cast out at least two times since that incident, each time learning something slightly different about himself, or who he was meant to be. The most recent time, he had gone to Jotunheim to demand answers about Frost Giants infiltrating the Artefact Vault located in Asgard's Palace, unbeknownst to him that Loki had opened the passage himself.
The final time he has been brought from his banishment to Midgard was different, his memories having been taken from him. He lived under the name Donald Blake, with an Injured leg. From this, Donald had taken to a career of medicine, only wanting to cure others of their pain. After years of medicine and traveling the world of Earth in order to research many of the diseases that pained Humanity, he was approached by a man who claimed his brother, Loki, was dying of cancer, and wanted to speak to the Doctor before he passed. Not seeing a reason to pass up a dying man's wish, Donald accepted. When he arrived at the house, he was distraught to see a burning building with screams emanating from the inside. Despite his injured leg, Donald hastily hobbled into the house to attempt to save any that were inside.
Upon witnessing Thor enter the burning building, Odin intervened, pulling Thor, still as Donald, and the man he was attempting to drag from the building into the Court of Asgard. In a fury, he returned Thor's memory, title, and hammer, and returned Loki to his feet, proclaiming his guilt for intervening in one of his lessons, and banishing him from the realm. From here, Loki was not heard from again, until recently.
When Lady Sif was given to Midgard as an envoy of the Asgardians, Thor insisted on going with her. When denied, he swallowed his pride and accepted the order, instead going to Heimdall every day to inquire on her well-being...
