Senjutsu (Literally meaning "Sage Techniques") refers to a specialized field of techniques that allows the user to sense and then gather the natural energy around a person.
- Background -
Senjutsu practitioners learn to draw the energy of nature inside of them, blending it with their own chakra (created from spiritual and physical energy within the shinobi). This adds a new dimension of power to the sage's chakra, resulting in the creation of "senjutsu chakra". This chakra cannot be seen by anyone other than those who have been trained in senjutsu. This new chakra enables the user to enter an empowered state called Sage Mode, which can then drastically increase the strength of all ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. A person who is able to use senjutsu is called a Sage.
The Senju Clan, who use natural energy in all their chakra, can also use Sage Mode. In this mode, they retains all of their normal physical characteristics except for a dark pigmentation both around, and underneath their eyes, a dark, circular marking also appears on their forehead as if a third eye.
- Requirements -
Must be of the Clan Senju and have the Mokuton Kekkei Genkai
Mokuton Senjutsu training can start early as Jounin Level
2000 Word Application to gain Sage Mode, must be within a Forest to gather the Energy

Chakra Recovers By half of your normal chakra level due to Natural Chakra flowing into the body when first activating Sage Mode

- Disadvantages -
Mokuton Sage Mode last for 6 post.
Unlike Summoning senjutsu, Mokuton senjutsu, doesn't allow for the Chakra reduction on techniques.
After Sage mode has passed, the users body having taken a toil on itself, making the user lose from base stats for 3 post.

Clones cannot carry over into Sage Mode, they appear as the normal state of the user

• At Kage/Sannin level Sage mode may be used twice a day, however, after the second use the user will need medical attention and need to spend at least one night in the hospital. •

• Sage Mode Techniques•
C Rank - Mokuton: Hōrenju [Threaded Tree]
The user creates two rising wood pillars that intertwine with each other from the ground and lift the opponent into the air. He then creates two larger pillars of intertwining wood, striking the opponent further into the air.
C Rank - Mokuton: Wooden Spear Heavenly Tear
The user rises himself up with a growing tree branch underneath his feet and strikes downward on the opponent with the branch.
B Rank - Mokuton: Gōsōju [Strong Spear Tree]
The user will form the required hand seal and create two tendrils that emerge from the ground and shoot towards the opponent intertwining with one another before piercing through the opponent.
B Rank - Mokuton: Kongō Shōboku [Adamantine Beckoning Tree]
The user of this technique creates some thick tendrils of wood surround him. This can be used to defend against close range attacks or to strike an opponent when they are near in a quick instantaneous attack.
B Rank - Mokuton: Impaling Roots
The user grows four roots from the ground around the opponent and then attempts to impales the opponent with the roots in one quick instant.
A Rank - Sage Art: Gate of the Great God
The sealing technique which is used in Sage Mode, the user manifests a select number of massive red torii that fall down from above, in order to pin an intended target between the gate and the ground. The size and strength of these torii is such that they can even be used to immobilize the Ten-Tails.
A Rank - Mokuton: Kongō Shōboku [Adamantine Beckoning Tree]
The user of this technique creates some thick tendrils of wood surround him. This can be used to defend against close range attacks or to strike an opponent when they are near in a quick instantaneous attack.
A Rank - Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu [Great Forest Technique]
A technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time, if one changes the ends into sharp stakes, turn them into countless, sharp, spear-like piercing weapons.
S Rank - Mokuton: Shinra Banshō [All Creation]
The user causes multiple wood tendrils to rise up from the ground, weaving into a wooden wall around the opponent's limbs binding them in place. He then concentrates his chakra into his fist which turns into a large tree trunk and then strikes the opponent, breaking them free of the woven wooden wall.
SS Rank - Sage Art Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju [True Several Thousand Hands]
After entering Sage Mode, the user creates a wooden statue of titanic proportions, easily able to dwarf a tailed beast like Kurama. Thousands of hands emanate from the statue's back in countless concentric rows, while its two main hands are clasped as if in prayer. The statue can serve a variety of purposes in battle from fighting on Hashirama's behalf, and even to defending.
(Due to the massive amount of Chakra required to produce this technique, it puts a strain on the user. So great that after the technique has been used, the user immediately leaves sage mode. Within the next post after the technique has been used, after exiting sage mode, the user will then pass out and have to be sent to the hospital.)
