Hakan lay beneath a great tree, his dark body curled against it's trunk as he licked at his wounds. Blood caked the spot between his eyes where it had dribbled down his nose and dried there. It itched now and was rather uncomfortable.
How could he!? How could he lose to her!?
His fur fluffed up in irritation and as he tried to move he found that his whole body ached. That lioness cub would pay for this, he'd tear out her throat! First she picks on his sister and then...then he failed to beat her!
He didn't think he could live with the shame, though he knew she was as worse off as him so far as injuries were concerned. If he hadn't fainted then who knows what would have happened.
He extended his forepaws and tilted his head up, allowing the sun to warm him, blue eyes closing to mere slithers in his dark face.

"Neh-Neh-Neh-" Grumbled a small, scraggily brown cub as he furiously made an attempt to keep ahold of the end of a small rodent's tail. It was horribly thrashing- kicking it's tiny little paws against his large whiskers. This wouldn't do! He had to keep a hold of it, just a little longer, enough to show everyone his new marvelous talent of hunting. He was rather proud of it, and unabashedly, Kamal found himself strutting through the underbrush- mouse dangling from his mouth, as he attempted to find someone. Where was everyone, anyways? It was the scent of faint blood that suddenly caught his attention, and before he could help it his mouth drooped and the mouse fell out, and ran away. Kamal flailed and made an attempt at recovering it- but the creature had scurried away. A sour expression crossed about the rather rough cub's face, and the ends of his whiskers puffed out in thought. But his momentary bitterness fell to curiosity, as he carefully followed the smell of blood up the roots of a tree, and down a slight hollow- until there, before him, lay the small body of his brother. "Eeh?" Kamal gaped, his jaggedly fuzzed tail swaying. "What's all happened to yous?" He blinked, his ears lifting upwards as he hoisted himself onto a branch. His face was riddled with a kind of funny concern- for at the same time he continued to try and keep up his black-sheep esque face. But this was a cause for some concern, for he did not know why Hakan would have been in such a state... It was good that he was moving, anyways. At least he didn't have to consider him being dead. "Eh? Hakan?"

The sight of his brother approaching brings Hakan a little comfort as he realises he is no longer alone. Where mama or his sister is he doesn't know but he supposed it was best he clean himself up before they realised he was hurt. The wounds were relatively small and would heal in time, in fact they looked a lot worse than they actually were. The most painful of them however was the small puncture mark in his left ear, made from a vicious bite.
"Stupid pridelander 'appened." He muttered, coiling his tail around him, "fight, biting, clawing...blood." He wrinkled his nose, ears flattening against his skull. He'd need to learn how to fight properly if he was going to get revenge.
"You better not tell mama! She not like it." Though Kinja would probably recognise the scent of blood on him instantly even if he did try to wash it all away.

Blue eyes stared at the brown form of his brother and for a mmoent he wished that he hadn't bumped into him as it were. This was embarassing enough without having to mention the one little fact he hated. "I didn't let it...I wasn't quick enough was all." He wriggled, cpawing at the ground sheepishly. "Not like I was picking fights...I was getting revenge."
He gave a small squeaky growl then, a sound rather cute coming from a cub as young as he. "Stupid Pridelander attacked Kimya!" Just repeating this fact was enough to get his blood boiling. How dare that disgusting creature prey on his family like that! He was glad that Kamal seemed to be on his side and an image of the two brothers rounding up on the other cub brought a small smirk to his face.
"And she did get hurt, I bit her ears and clawed her face, it was a draw really." He suddenly fell silent realising that he'd given it away.
Hakan...had been beaten up by a girl.

Kamal sat, his mouth agape- for he could not find the correct words to express exactly what was fleeting across his mind. He couldn't tell if he should laugh at the idea of Hakan being beaten up by a girl, be terrified that a girl had beaten up Hakan, or that he should have been just as angry that this little girl had also attacked Kimya. And although Kamal might have been many things, he was at first most angry about the fact that she had attacked their sister.
"Kimya?" He gaped. "Why did you go losing then?! You should have called me if yus was going to loose like that- how dare she hurt Kimya! And then she beat up on yous as well!" The end of his tail thrashed. As it seemed- he was the only one of the three siblings who hadn't been beaten up by this little hellion. His fur bristled up somewhat at the thought of whatever cruel sort of girl this could possibly be- Blah! Girls! As if they weren't bad enough!
"Blah!" He suddenly explained, not knowing what else to say, and he moved closer to Hakan to get a better look at his face. "I hope yous scratched her up pretty good, because she did a number on you." He muttered and faintly placed the blunt of his paw across the bridge of his brother's nose. "I'd go beat her up for you. You know. If I knew where she was, and all." He explained, although honestly, the idea of a female that had chewed up a cub like Hakan... could he have done the same kind of damage? His wide green eyes blinked for a moment, before shaking it furiously and dismissing it. "Of course not." He said to himself, and shook his head once more. "Well, Mum is going to smell that blood on you. I think you'd better go wash yourself off at the pool, or something. Come on, I'll go with you."

His nose wrinkled in annoyance, it wasn't like he'd meant to lose! In fact he had wanted to kill her and would have done if given the chance. Oh next time they met...next time.
His claws unsheathed and he growled again, "if we meet again I'll kill 'er, tear that beast limb from limb!" He would admit however that he would have felt better if his brother had been there, atleast then the cub wouldn't have had a chance. "If there a next time I tell you, dun worry 'bout that."
He snorted, and tilted his head up at a proud angle, "she bleeding jus' as bad." He didn't like to think that he'd been worse off, though that was probably the case. Then standing up, he shook his fur and nodded, "kay, that's a good idea, mama not want me to go back if she know what happened. I need tah get revenge now more than ever." And he would. The question was...would Kamal want in too? Or would he stay out of it?

He stalked along beside his brother, his dark body contrasting against Kamal's pale one. His brilliant blue eyes followed the length of the land and the shadow his own body created. "We'll show her not to mess with us, stupid Pridelanders." He fluffed himself up, finding a bounce in his step. "We'll just have tah keep it secret, what she dun know won't 'urt her."
His tal swished as he walked, his rather podgy body moving with little grace as he moved over to the pool of water they had been headed towards. The scent of the water filled his nose and it wasn't long before it appeared, sparkling under the rays of the sun.
He quickened his pace to try and reach the water first, the competitive streak evident in every one of his actions. "Once these scrapes are healed we'll show that stupid cub who rules this stretch of land!" He called as he ran.
Yes...he'd show her.
