100 + 5 (familiarity) +10 (drakein) - 5 (Drakien) + 5 (capture bonus) = 115 (yeah it was caught before any of the math in here)

Erionda swallowed down another bite of the bread she had packed along with her. The medal hung around her neck like a protective charm. Without it there was far to much chance of danger. Inhaling a deep breath of air, Erionda let her lungs slowly empty. She had wanted a glimps of Soudul before she ventured into the unknown territory with Kilian to meet his parents. Assuming things were still going to happen that way. She wanted the chance to be frightened of the new world on her own. Without having to worry Kilian about everything.

It hadn't been helpful that Kilian had been gone for some time. She had come to soudul in hopes of finding a clue to were he was. Erionda had quickly given up on the en-devour rather quickly as her mind swirled with thoughts. Perhaps searching for him now wasn't the best thing. And if she was caught in Soudul looking for an Oblivionite she wondered if they would take that as a que that she was searching for her own death? So she had settled to learning for of the forest creatures.

Glancing around Erionda gave a swift sharp look towards Lanzecki. Don't you dare try anything like you did last time. I heard there are friendlier Hastar here, and I really want the chance to catch one. Maybe, just maybe having a creature to help carry the orbs instead of begging you guys to do it would help. So no more silly tricks of yours.

Lanzecki recoiled slightly at the swift reminder he was given over the bond. Nodding his head slowly to acknowledge Rio's request. He had felt enough of the pain that flowed from Erionda the first time they had failed in catching one. He did not want to cause her that kind of disappointment again. He could see the heard of creatures ahead of them. His claws dug into the dirt.

Now here is what I have planned. Lanzecki I want you to block of the escape from behind. While Uassae and I take the sides. Once Erionda was sure she had gained acknowledgements of understanding all three set out after the herd. Annoyed as each scattered out of the way.

Here! Uassae shouted as one of the Hastar fell away from the herd and into their trap.

54 +15 (Hastar bonus) + 10 (rolled a 100 in previous post) + 10 (Drakein) - 5 (Drakein) = Over 80

Rio's eyes scanned over the creature as she slowly took a step forward. Watching as the creatures eyes swirled with fear. "Now now." Erionda cooed as she took another step forward. Her right hand slowly moved back towards the rope on her hip. While she extended her left hand out. "I mean you no harm." Erionda flinched as the Hastar bayed. Pawing at the ground with flared nostrils.

"It's going to make a run Rio!" Uassae growled.

"Right," Erionda's feet shifted, her light blue eye lighting with magic as a wall of ice sprung up around them. Entrapping the large beast within the circle. Walking forward Erionda's hopes dropped slightly as the beast darted away from her. It's great eyes trained on Rio as she continued to move slowly closer. Her fingers spread wide as she placed her hand on the Hastars nose.

"There, there. No ones going to hurt you. We are here to be your friend." She could feel the frightened energy of the creature through the palm of her hand. Feel her own heart rise in rhythm to match the quick excitement of the creature. If she wasn't careful her own energy would spin out of control and she would end up sending more fear into the creature than it was already feeling. She needed to calm her mind and heart. Closing her eyes, Rio placed another hand over her own heart. Willing herself to remain calm. To focus on the creature before her.

After several long deep breaths, Rio could feel her heart slow to a steady and comfortable beat. Opening her eyes slowly she found the creature staring at her. And while his breath came out in large waves across her arm it didn't seem as afraid of her as when she had first cornered it.

Smiling Rio took a step closer her hand running along the Hastars neck. Ending just before the whither to give it a swift pat on the side. "Good job little one." Erionda cooed. Reaching for the rope she slipped it slowly around the creatures neck. Momentarily letting it hang there for a moment. Her missmatched eyes watching to see how it would react.

((Yes this is a win Please don't make me do the math.))

Erionda's hand gripped the rope tightly. Now came the true test. She would need to create a way for the creature to work with her. She would need to train it. That would be the true mark of ownership with the Hastar. The young hybrid smiled as the Hastar allowed the rope to wrap around it's neck. Raising it's head twice before looking towards the Drakein in the background.

"Easy now, Easy." Erionda's feet scuffed in the drying leaves and twigs on the ground. Letting the rope move loosely between her and the captured Hastar. Extending her hand out to the side with her index finger pointing towards the left direction away from her body. Rio gave a small clicking noise with her tongue giving the loose rope a slight wiggle.

Moistening her lips Rio passed the end of the rope to her free hand and began spinning it lightly. "Alright now, lets start moving." Shifting her body Erionda moved her shoulders to square up with the beasts withers. Clicking her tongue once again Rio was surprised and delighted to see the creature reacting. Moving into a slow but steady trot, Pulling tightly against the lead in the hybrids hands. The pale haired girl gave a smile as she let some of the rope loose for the hastar to gain room. To move away from her while keeping the pace.

Pleased with her progress Erionda made a loud kissing noise. Spinning the very end of the rope in her right hand again. Forcing the Hastar to pick up the pace. Thrilled when the call had been answered. She had never dreamed it would be easy to tame one of these beautiful beasts.

Time moved and ticked as Erionda worked with the creature. Once she was satasfied she had worked hard enough the hybrid allowed the rope to drop to the ground. Turning her back on the Hastar Erionda began walking towards the ships that would carry her back to Eowyn. A bright smile on her face as the Hastar fell into a trot behind her. It's nose pressed into her hair. Erionda had succeeded in catching her very first wild creature.
