Roman tucked his wings in as he landed beside his partner and step-sister, his red eyes finishing their watering from his flight, the chains around his body rattling as he moved towards her. "Father and Demoni said to head home when we finished, and we have finished scouting." he said, his voice deep and no longer the childish tone he once carried. He surveyed the land around them before turning back to Dakini. "I have one stop to make by myself before heading back to the cave. Will you be fine to travel by yourself?" He asked almost warily. He was younger than him, though she had wings as well, which he was thankful for, now that they were full time partners and no longer in training. He looked to the east, his eyes almost softening as he thought of Mama and Remus. He wanted to see them before going back home, but if Daki wanted him to accompany her to the south first, he would, otherwise, that is where he would be heading.

Roman grinned and nodded at Daki before stretching his wings again. "Fine then, Daki. I will see you at the cave. In the meantime, if you run into trouble, scream. I will hear you." He said, referring to what their fathers had taught them during training, a sort of mind call to other demons or half demons that could span several leagues. He would come at a moment's notice if she needed his help. He nodded before leaping in the air, his strong wings batting the air and taking him higher until he soared away, disappearing in a matter of moments.

Audra growled and kicked at a rock as she made her way down the familiar path to the lake, her pink eyes surveying everything very carefully. To any azrein looking at her, she would look like a normal alicorn female, to anyone looking closer, they would notice her off color pink eyes and realize that there was something wrong with her vision, which was also the reason she had babysitters all the time, even though she was a full grown female. She huffed just as she stumbled over a rock she hadn't noticed, glad that she had slipped away from her babysitter again, and glad that no one had seen her stumble.

She stopped at the edge of the water and looked down at her face, the black and white and nearly non-existent picture in the water that was not someone she recognized. She could barely make out her stripes, light coloring that blended into the water. She let out a growl as she stomped her hoof into the water, distorting the image until he was gone before bending down to drink the rippling water.

Audra's head went up and leveled out, her horn pointing the way as she whirled on the voice that had snuck up on her. However, when she looked, the colors popped, the dark dark and the very light color like those blobs in the sky on a warm day. She lifted her head slightly and studied the other mare for a moment, her curiosity taking control momentarily. "Reflections and Images are meaningless to me.' She finally replied, her voice smooth and controlled as she kept her eyes on the other female.

Audra lifted her head fully, so that her horn was not pointing at the other as she contemplated telling the female why... she had asked outright. "Cause I can't see them very well." She said, avoiding eye contact with the other, though she kept her peripheral on the dark female in case she tried to attack after finding out Audra's weakness.

Audra tilted her head and looked at the female again. "I'm Duchess Audra Darkstripe." She introduced calmly, changing the subject to a more level one. Tactician? Was this female in the army? This was too far north for a southerner, not that Audra could really tell the differences in them. Slight nuances of character were lost on her within her pink orbs, but this mare had interesting enough wings and light vs dark markings would enable Audra to spot her from a nice distance.

Audra grinned at the address. "Call me Audra. Its a pleasure, Dakini Demoni." She said, nodding at the female before stepping a bit closer to investigate. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but can you describe your colors to me?" She asked almost shyly, ashamed once more at her disability.
