The past that Shadow and his twin sister went through is a sad and horrible story. One where love is something brave and wonderful. Losing his parents might have been taken for him and his sister because of a feline walker. They aren't sure if it is a pure or skin one but still a walker. It tore their parents up but thank the skies that the baskets him and his sister where in where hidden and safe. Though the past is just that the past. He still looks back on it and tries to be understanding to those with hard and sad pasts like he does. This is what led to the family he has now.

She like Shadow and Tsumetai has had a pretty evil past. It caused her to lost her memories. Her herd and family where attacked by skin and pure walkers. It was when she was a filly and when she locked up her memories. That bloody day scarred her and she was one of the lucky few that got away from the bloody show that the skin and pure walkers displayed. This was the first time Shika learned to fear those that have pelts. She was loved and now she was left with nothing as she watched her mother be killed and eaten in front of her while she hid. She was told not to move. So she didn't. She closed her eyes tightly until the world went silent as she opened them slowly to see the horror left behind. Running away from that place. She soon found Shasow and Tsumetai who were foals and whose parents were also killed by the walkers. After finding them. They soon adopted her, she then forgot about her past and what had happened to her. Locking it up tightly into her mind. Hidden from herself as it rest so deeply only to one day awaken to show itself to her. When that happens how will she be?

Loving on her younger sister as she nuzzles up to Shika as they follow Shadow to their spot where they watch their private she of Fireflies and the waterfall that seems to glow only because of the fireflies. She and Shika are whispering about stallions and what they want their future lovers to be like. And how much they wish to be loved and how many little one they wish to have and raise.

He looks back at his sisters. "I don't wanna hear you two talk about stallions." He points out seeing they are his sisters and he doesn't wanna think about them being old enough to be starting a family of their own yet. He shakes his head as they soon get to where they were going.
