Coven took a deep breath, then let it out. The bone-like struts of his wings clicked as he exhaled. He was going to do it this time. The fire-like markings on his boots began to glow steadily - and in front of him a small fire began to glow. A thrill of excitement ran through him - he was doing it, he was controlli- BOOM! Coughing as smoke raised from what had been a small fire before it went to a mushroom cloud of flame, the pockettu sighed. Maybe not.

Ozell's ear twitched hearing the boom as it resounded through the air. Looking up from the white mouse she had been in the middle of dismembering, she turned her wild gaze towards the source of the sound. Her interest caught she abandoned the bloody body of the white rodent, stood and flared her tan blood patterned wings. Grinning in excitement she flicked her tail and rocketed silently into the sky. It only took a fraction of a second for her keen red eyes to spot the cloud of smoke that billowed into the air. Angling her wings to glide closer she caught a glimpse of the source. Her eyes lit up with desire and her grin grew wide and crazy. The bone like wings and wild, bright colored markings gained this vessel points. This vessel warranted a closer look. She circled above once as she slipped her clawed brass knuckles onto her mouse blood smeared hands before suddenly dropping from the sky to land directly before the dark skinned one with a wild look in her red eyes and a creepy grin to match.

See, here was the thing. Coven's powers were out of control, that much was evident. But as well as willing them to work, they also worked on emotions - for example, suprise! So when Ozell dropped down, Coven yelped - and as he yelped, the vine like markings lit up, and a lovely array of flowers and vines sprung up around them, tangling around both of the pockettu. Coven groaned.
"Sorry....you surprised me."

Ozell grinned as the other yelped in surprise. Then vines and flowers sprung up, wrapping around her and the caster of the magic. Her grin widened, eyes glinting with interest as he apologized for the sudden appearance of the plant life. Using her claw brass knuckles she sliced the vines from her body and looked down upon the other. "That's interesting. You're magic works as a self defense mechanism." Her words smooth and fascinated, her desire for his blood rising.

Coven raised his eyebrows at that outrageous assertion, fists tightening slightly as he began to wriggle out of the vines with an ease that belied practice. Once freed, he spoke, mouth twisting.
"A curse doesn't protect me ; nay, it defects me - every sentence has to be spoken in rhyme, no matter day, weather or time. Uncontrollable outbursts hurt those who are near - a self defense mechanism I would gladly give up to not live in fear."

Ozell raised a brow of her own as he spoke in rhymes. Her grin split her face and she chuckled lightly. "I meant no offense." She purred very curious about this curse of which he spoke. This fact alone was enough for her to know that a sample she would obtain. For she hadn't ever obtained the blood of a cursed vessel. "That is just what it appeared." Her red eyes gave his wild, interesting appearance another look over, pondering the best method to obtain a sample.
