Yeah eternal sonata was awesome the OST was great. So I read the simulated battle it was a little "god-mody" but it was npcs so i guess you kinda needed to anyways, but the level of detail was good I understood your attacks and where you hit etc. your positioning was confusing mostly because of your shadow dancer shadow leap thing. And that guy seemed really stronk XD Also hows this for a English teacher? biggrin
This was one of the more simple battles from the Axiom guild I did the way I worded a lot of combat terms made it seem like I was UP things like attempt or try add a more realistic touch to your character instead of hitting everytime because just like it says in a lot of table top rule books even the greatest pianist will miss a note every now and then. But here's the battle...
Arcanist(mage): Darith turned to face the combatants that had revealed themselves "Great, spiders." he said almost laughing at the Irony "be ready to defend yourself miss!" he said to the necromancer and assumed his combat stance attempting to move out of the way of the spiders web toss he brought his staff up summoning a magic circle around him forming a thin white aura. then he charged the end of his staff with white light briefly then smashed the tip of his staff into the ground sending four shards of energy at the spiders preferably the closest one. keeping his ears open if the necromancer wanted to strategize. |Energy Coat/Mystical Impalement=-50 energy Rankbiggrin|
Necromancer: "Looks like it's going to have to happen," she said quickly as six spiders descended on them. She jumped and grabbed Darith's shoulder, using it as a pivot point to swing herself around and launch herself at the spiders. The webs sailed past on her right as she swung with her scythe from the left. Silver's bones, on the other hand, moved right so the webs would travel by on his left and he swung for the horn with his large stick.
GM: 2 of the Spiders where impelled by the magical shards Darith have send to them and drop dead to the grassy floor. As for the one Shayla swung her scythe to cut through it's exoskeleton but backed away before it could cut it all the way through. The one the skeleton is face is not so matched with the arackneds soled pointy horn, but the large stick was enough to draw it back.The skeleton has the spider attention and started shooting more webs at it.
The rest of the 3 spiders aim for the two people. One charged at Darith with it's sharp horn to strike at, with the 2 other kept on shooting their sticky web on both of them.
Arcanist(Mage):
Darith watched as the other girl launched herself at the spiders with awe as she swung her scythe at the spiders just about then one if the spiders reared its ugly head and began to charge what a pitiful creature Darith thought as it charged he held out his staff and blared his stream of fire technique at the spider while it attempted to assault him he would then turn and begin casting ice shards at the other spiders who were shooting web. Sending one hundred ice shards in their direction with great speed he anticipated lots of death from his abilities... [Firestream/ice shard=rank D -50 energy]
Necromancer: hayla snarled, arachnid fluid dripping from her scythe's blade. The ground rumbled and cracked, large chunks floating up to propel themselves at the different spiders.Silver's bones dodged out of the way, letting the sticky web fly past. It jumped and swung again.
GM:
Darith's ice shards was very much over kill to the spiders. There was to many for them to dog too quickly all of them. They were very much distracted enough to be squashed like a bug by Shayla's flying stone and the skeleton swacking the other spider. All the spiders are dead except for one that is twitching it's legs, but it's body is in disorder to do anymore harm (well done)
and I thank you for the info but positioning is not something I do very well I could leave that to fox to add if she likes. I write the atts and everything for him

dragundra
umm can I skip class?
Haha what dont want to have English with a grammar Nazi XD yeah positioning is kinda annoying I was in a guild for a long time where that was the most important thing about combat since they wanted almost 100% realisim and it was a medieval era thing it was actually pretty cool its funny everytime you quote me it says fox did xS
