Background Information
Shayleigh thought she had a normal life until she started going to therapy sessions 3 times a month since she was 13. There she learned that her parents were abusing her. She never really thought about it because she was receiving emotional abuse and not physical and all you ever hear about is physical abuse. She was an only child which made it all the harder to realize, her therapist realized this was a problem and took it to court. Her parents lost custody over her and she had to have foster parents. There's only one problem: the judge wanted Shayleigh's parents as far away from her as possible. With that being said Shayleigh had to move from her long time home (England) to go to America. Where she now lives at. Ever since the move she's been doing incredibly better in school and she's been happier. She even auditioned for Broadway, she didn't get the part but it took her a lot of courage to audition. Shayleigh suffered from depression and started cutting at an early age the rest is history. She over came all of it and became a better person, singing is her passion and makes her life worth living everyday.
