The days were few and far between that there was a silence a Mother could enjoy. Sabia in particular loved and adored her offspring, just as any parent would, but that silence was golden. She knew she would have to endure a hard days playing before that silence would show its beautiful face. So the Queen, threw one of many tricks up her sleeve out for the cubs to hear and see about.

"What about Hide and Seek?"

The offer was one, she knew, most cubs could not refuse. Before any decisions or excitement could push out an angry remark Sabia was quickly on her way to initiating plans. She knew for a fact that two of her triplets would be involved. How could they not? A chance to scare those who are hiding? An amusing thought. Before anything could happen, she had to lay down the ground rules...

RULES

GENERAL

oo1. Follow SoA / Gaia rules (ToS).

oo2. Be respectful to other participants in the games and RP. -- Disrespect will be cause for removal from the event.

oo3. This is a contest for Atra Pestis and that being said they should stay in the pride. If there are any plans to leave, please advise Buffy why and she will make a final decision.

oo4. Enjoy yourselves. Both contests can be entered, only one prize per winner.

oo5. Please PM the mule with any questions, concerns or comments. Feel free to quote Green Ever After or Buffy_the_Bloody with those as well

TRIVIA RAFFLE

The trivia raffle will work like this. Each person to submit the trivia below to the mule will have their name entered in a raffle. One ticket per person, unless the bonus question is answered with some form of opinion. We have created that additional question to hopefully see some input on the pride, where would you like it to go? Any ideas that we may not have thought of to create a better atmosphere? Should some things be rewritten? Take advantage of this chance to send a PRIVATE message that no others will see. We will not take offense to any comments or concerns we will try to grow from it instead!

HIDE AND SEEK

This game is simple, 4 numbers have been picked, one for each cub. During each post made by participants you are to roll a number. All four cubs are hiding somewhere, its up to you to find them! Both Cubs and Adults may participate in the search.

oo1. When rolling for the cubs we have chosen to have you utilize the Random Number Generator. Please use 1 - 100 option as all four numbers are under 100.

oo2. Each post should have some form of interaction that includes searching for those hiding. Think of this as a mass hide and seek, where even though its usually one individual seeking, the mass is actually playing both roles. It's simply a fun way to have a pride get together that is cub-freindly.

oo3. IF you are to find a cub, you will be quoted by the mule who will than have a generic reply from the cub in question. At that time you will have found the cub and should make a second reply stating so.

oo4. The colorist is Ririka, so when you win and have a name chosen, please proceed by letting us know via PM and posting in Ririka certing thread. You do have the option to wait until the pride is official to post in Riri's thread.

Side Note: Samia, Mother of the litter of boys will be joining Atra, but as a Slave. He will be bringing the whole group with him to Atra, where he boys and their Mother will split ways. The boys, from that point on will be cared for by the pride and taken in by Crue's mate Sabia`Deimos. The cubs will be treated as her own. They will become part of a rough tough, but pampered atmosphere. (The above applies to all but 'Hook'. Who was taken by Blackbeard, and so he will not be coming to Atra Pestis.)

'Hook' Owned by Buffy_the_Bloody ; (Per Buffy, Hook, having a rather displeased demeanor has been taken captive by Blackbeard and removed from the custody of Crue. He will not be part of Atra and so he will not be part of this ORP.)

[Atra Pestis]

Sabia`Deimos had recently become a parent in the last few months or so and found that games were the best distractions when she needed time to herself. This was the reasoning behind it, she not only had her own litter to worry about now, she had taken in another litter of Crue's that would need the same bout of attention. She was sure of that. Sabia found herself in a small bout of silence for moments, very brief moments and this particular one she planned and sculpted an idea based around hide and seek.

With the slight help of two of her triplets she began to execute her plan.

Upon getting everything sorted she decided to call a pridal meeting. The meeting would include, new face and old faces. Fresh faces from the roguelands and ones she hadn't met before in the pride. Or so she hoped. All she could do was be passive and await company.

Devika wasn't pleased, apparently she was expected to search for some missing cubs. She snorted in disgust but she supposed she would make the effort to SEEM interested in the fate of a few brats, especially since she was fairly new to the pride, testing the waters so to speak. She wasn't afraid of anything but rogue life wouldn't suit her whatsoever it was the reason she had travelled with Roth and Flye in the first place.

She sighed, nosing about for any sign of the stupid cubs. Seriously? .. what point was there in such a ridiculous game like this.. Rolling her eyes as she searched.

Galius wasn't used to roaming around. It hadn't been very long since he had left his former home, and he was still trying to figure out just what it meant to be on his own. He knew it was best for his own life that he move on with things, but still: that didn't mean he was happy about things. There was a loneliness inside of him, even if he usually came across as the type who didn't actually want company. He just had his reputation to hold up.

Really, being a rogue out on his own just wasn't the life for him.

Sighing to himself, he ventured forward, stopping when he noticed he had come into an area with some other lions hanging around. Strange- normally he didn't see so many in one place. Had he stumbled on something interesting? A pride, perhaps?

Nope, no cub there. Devika almost spat in annoyance, they weren't HER cubs... but if it meant she should fit in better.. she supposed she would make an effort. She ignored a large male lion wandering nearby and stuck her nose in another potential hiding place for a cub.

Mura was on the look out for a place to rest. She had been traveling for days. At night she would rest in caves. Sleeping in caves wasn't too bad, but she did miss having company. As she walked she heard some voices and decided to investigate. Hopefully they were somewhat friendly, though if not she would be sure to be on her way. When she saw the group, she noticed that they seemed to be looking for something. "Have you lost something?" she asked quizzically. She looked around to see if she could spot something out of the ordinary.

Another stranger?! Hells teeth what was going on .... ridiculous, if SHE was queen she wouldn't allow rogues, strangers to just wander around like this ... Well, it technically wasn't her problem, SHE was supposed to be looking for hiding cubs.. so that's what she was going to do, find a cub, take it to the queen and have done with the entire thing, she'd have played her part.

It looked like other lions didn't know what was going on, either. There was one with a bat like marking on her hind quarters who was asking them if they had lost something. A good question- it did look like they were roaming around trying to find something from nothing.

What on earth was going on?

"I wouldn't mind knowing that myself," he said, moving closer to Mura so he might be able to hear what was being said, if anything.

Devika's ears twitched as she heard the comments from the other two lions. She rolled her eyes again, huffing to herself. It wasn't HER problem if the newcomers were clueless.... she wasn't about to go out of her way to inform them, however she guessed she should answer if they DID ask her something directly. It wouldn't be good to be completely rude to strangers, especially not large MALE strangers that could bring new blood to the pride though he had a wing shaped marking much like the current heir and siblings, that wasn't as pleasing .. could it be he was related but didn't know it?

The deeply red colored female monitored the incoming lions. All three that had made appearances appeared knew, though she recognized something about two of them. Perhaps they were related to those she had seen before. Her curiosities aside she moved about with an air of leadership and smiled at each rogue. Today was about the cubs, she would do what she would to remind the individuals romping on their lands. Her adornments would have to act as a warning.

"Welcome.." She muttered to a male whom had approached from ways away. He, as the rest appeared to have just been wandering in to see what was going on. The same welcome was muttered to a couple others whom had approached. One female in particular caught her eye. All black, some markings, a deep and bright red. A recent joiner, she presumed, her attitude seemed fit for the pride. Sabia narrowed her eyes slightly and stared in a hard fashion, the attitude from the female was radiating off her.

The aura itself made the Queen's frown flip up slightly in a dangerous smirk. Feisty, just the way she liked them.

When curious faces began to swarm together, Sabia decided to re announce the events. She approached the pair with a softer grin replacing the dangerous one and open eyes, though the mask in itself created a unique aura all itself.

"To answer your questions, we have and we haven't. I promise our Pride lands are secured enough.." Her voice trailed off, she wouldn't mention the hidden God they had trapped amongst their slaves, but it was enough to prove to her that her lands were protected and protected well. "We have penned ourself just enough to allow for a small game to be played. Upon recent endeavors we have come into a new batch of cubs. For those of you whom are parents know of the pains of a loud series of days." A pause, once more for any thoughts and considerations before moving on. "So we have organized a game of Hide and Seek. The cubs have taken it upon themselves to hide and whomever is about will seek. I have already begun a search, much like a few other of our members. Feel free to look about yourselves and partake in some food and rest if need be."

The pride, though built and striving with aggressive busy bodies, did need new members. She wouldn't likely get those by chasing off anyone with her usual attitude, besides her cubs were involved. Whether they be by blood or not mattered very little.
