The trail of blood led the way toward the pair of Ayrala that Eyphah had already had two run ins with. The first battle had been one sided with the dragons coming out on top and their second run in was one that ended with Eyphah the clear winner. If you asked him there was only going to be one last battle between himself and the dragons, the winner finally determined, and he was more then certain that it was going to be him. It wasn't that he was cocky, well it was partly that, but there was also the fact that he was following a blood trail that spoke of the injuries that one of the two dragons had sustained in their last run in. He wouldn't be surprised if that one was on its last legs by the time that he got to where it had been forced to land. There was no reason to worry, he was going to find the dragons and he was going to take them both on one final time. The blood trail that he was followed was suddenly joined by foot prints on the ground, meaning that the Ayrala had been forced to land. If anything that bit of news caused him to speed up his steps, loping along toward his soon to be snacks.
It didn't take long for him to reach the spot that the wounded Ayrala dragon had ended up coming to a stop and he never bothered to slow down, instead lunging forward so that he could land on the Ayrala's back. There was very little in the way of fighting from the Ayrala before he was able to finish it off with his sharp teeth and scythe like claws. The Diabi jumped off of it's back, landing on the ground, and watched as the beast crumbled into dust, leaving behind nothing but a skeleton and a glittering silver orb. Trotting forward his tail set to wagging in a happy manner, "Oh, aren't you a pretty one? I am sure that you will look lovely sitting amongst my other pretty orbs." He said to it as he scooped it up, admiring the pretty orb before he gave pause, seeing a shadow pass over him, one that was followed by an angry roar, that of the Ayrala's companion no doubt. He set his orb down, patting it lightly as though to reassure the shiny jewel that he would be back soon, before he turned to face the next dragon, teeth barred, snarling in a threatening manner at it. He didn't want it to flee, not really, he just wanted to challenge it so that it would come after him, not wanting to have to chase this one down again. No, he was going to finish this now if possible.
The Ayrala seemed to take the bait, snarling back, and came racing toward him, and the Diabi couldn't help but to chuckle before he went racing forward to meet Ayrala in the middle in a mess of claws, fangs, and many colorful curse words from Eyphah. The second Ayrala was a bit more interesting as far as the fight went, it wasn't injured, just exhausted from its attempts to run from him. It meant more injuries on Eyphah's side but he really didn't care all that much, used to pain after being in so many battles, what mattered to him most was getting the orbs from the dragons, a few injuries in exchange was more then worth it in his eyes. After a time going rounds with the Ayrala he finally saw his opening, going for the dragon's throat, and it was over moments later. As the second of the Ayrala crumbled away he set to purring in a delighted manner, tail swishing, licking his maw so that he could enjoy the flavor of the Ayrala before he scooped up the two orbs, admiring the way that they sparkled, before he smiled, "Alright my beauties, how about we get you back to my cave, hm? I am sure that you will look amazing next to the Ysali orbs that I got in Serenia." He purred at them, sounding quite gleeful, before he turned back to the Ayrala skeleton and grabbed up a femur. With that in his mouth he headed back to the cave that he'd taken up residence in, wanting to celebrate his win with some delicious dragon marrow.
