 A black lion lazed about an open patch. The pride had been quiet of late. Really quiet. He supposed it wasn't the right time for spells or anything; hence the recuded calls. That had left him with free time on his paws. The male had his stocks full. Most commonly asked for ingredients and things that wouldn't spoil quickly if removed of whereever they happened to be. There wasn't any sence in gatherer more than he needed when he wasn't getting any missions or orders.
L'envoi had puttered around his usual spot waiting for someone to come looking for the specific talents of a Gatherer. When it had been hours and no one had come he moved hopefully to another spot. He waited in vain it seemed. No one needed anything today. The adult rolled onto his back with his legs sticking straight up in the air. He contemplated the difference in position. It almost looked as if he stood upon blue skies and held the earth on his back. Now that was an interesting thought.
A bright yellow bird was nestled secure in the trees not far away. She lifted her head from her wing in time to see the lion roll onto his back. A laugh, pleasant and full of good humor, burst from her beak.
"If only you could see what you look like from my angle. You look like a gaint stuffed toy some kid dropped and left behind." Lore hurred and fluffed her feathers as she stretched. Neither of them were use to this much inactivity. She would much rather be out doing what they did best than lazing around here.

 The pride was indeed pretty quiet. Other than the fact that there was not much activity, there also wasn't much talking happening or other going ons. However the pride was alive in another way. There was whispers and rumors and other things to go along with it. With Fleur and another lioness helping out Mama and also gaining pretty big ranks pretty quickly there was much going on and much suspicion. Fleur is pretty vain and normally the lioness loved when others talked about her but at the moment she wasn't enjoying it that much. She didn't understand what the problem was or why the rumors were going on. In fact it annoyed her she was simply carrying out the job that she was supposed to be doing and she was getting tired of hearing the others talk.
She was trying to brush that off for the night, she wanted to spend some time around the pride enjoying the feeling of the dirt under her paws and the sky above her. She wanted to think and relax and she was also thinking about seeing if her daughter was hanging around the borders tonight. She missed her daughter, but she knew that her daughter just wanted to go out and explore the world before settling somewhere Fleur wasn't about to make her daughter settle somewhere but she was going to enjoy the company every now and again. As she wandered toward the borders she heard a voice. An interesting voice, not one of a lion but of a bird. Her attention turned toward the creature and then she spoke. she didn't notice the lion laying not to far off from her. She was in her own little world until she heard the bird talk.
"Are you talking to me yellow bird?" She called back into the tree, confused.

A voice! And not that of his good natured bird friend. Something the bored lion had not hoped to hear this day. Then L'envoi realized what that voice had said. It wasn't talking to him but to Lore! He let his whole body flop onto his side in the direction of that voice. The black lion remained laying on his side as his blue eyes observed the pale pink lioness addressing Lore.
L'envoi
She was quite ataken back when a lioness spoke to her, thinking that Lore had been speaking to her. "Your pardon, but I wasn't. I was speaking to that lump of a lion down there." The yellow bird pointed at L'envoi with one of her wings. Thankfully he had decided not to let her see him in that redicious pose.
"Now that you are here though I'm Lore. Is there anything we can do for you?" Her bright eyes watched the lioness curiously.

Wait the bird wasn't talking to her? Fleur's brows furrowed before understanding that the bird was talking to a lion. She paused and looked around catching the look of a male that was hanging out on the ground. Her tail flicked behind her before speaking to him. "Well hello to you too then!" She said with a smile growing on her maw. This lion had to be part of her pride and seeing some pride members around made her extremely excited. It had been quiet.
She paused for a moment and then introduced herself. "My name is Fleur, you've probably heard of me though." She said simply. She was a lioness who was normally a little full of herself but she also was a lioness that knew at this point that there weren't many lions that were happy about her ranking in the pride. Not many that were happy at all and honestly there were some that probably wanted her to just leave and thought that she or the other lioness that got a similar rank didn't deserve it. She started talking again hoping that the pair wasn't already not big fans of her. "It's nice to meet you two, what are you up to on this evening?"

Yin-Bug Seems like I meant to write more for L'envoi in the last post and totally spaced it lol.
"Likewise Fleur." The bird bobbed her head in greeting. "L'envoi was hoping that someone would come out here to give him a task to do. He won't admit it but he's been dreadfully bored." She gapped her beak in what the male knew was her version of a smile.

A small smile grew on Fleur's face. Normally she wasn't one to smile but it appeared as if recently the pride members have been doing on adventures or something. She felt like she didn't know where they were exactly. She wasn't sure at all but no matter what she was excited to find some one wandering around. The smile grew on her face as she started to talk to them. "L'envoi and Lore?" She repeated making sure to get their names down pat in her name. She didnt' like forgetting names, it was an embarrassing and upsetting thing.
Her tail flicked around behind her once again before taking a moment to think and speak again. "The most I really have to do is see if you can get some teamwork going on." She asked chuckling a little more. "I'm not that sure where everyone is lately. I think they've all been out on an adventure." She said with a laugh following. She flopped down on her haunches. "Maybe we need to get some Loa on our side. Maybe that is what is going on." She said simply a small sigh escaping her voice.

The black lion gave a jolly sweep of his paw as she said his name. This was so much better than being bored. Or being bored and having Lore laughing at him. He flicked his ears up curiously. "Teamwork?" L'envoi wrinkled his brow a bit. "Excuse me if I'm confused a bit. What is it we need teamwork for? Unless I need a guard with me usually I travel alone." He hear a beak clack and winced. He knew what that beak could do to tender tail ends. "Unless you count Lore, which of course we are."
"Well that's a shame. I haven't seen many around for days either." He blew out a playful huff. "How rude of them to go off and not invite us." L'envoi tilted his head to regard her as he pondered her suggestion. "Aye that. Perhaps you and me could go on an adventure to bring something nice back for some of the Loa?" It wasn't often he got to communicate directly with the spirits himself.
Lore fluffed her feathers as the lioness included her. Sometimes she was just brushed off as the bird in the tree. She knew no more than they did apparently. Though why half the pride would disappear on adventures and not tell anyone, she didn't know.
Her beak clacked audibly as L'envoi mentioned traveling alone. Even he did it sometimes! Lore settled down as the lion corrected himself. Allowing herself an mock glare at him. "That sounds like a lovely idea L'envoi. Would you care to join us Fleur?"

Maybe 'teamwork' wasn't the word that she was looking for. But it was close to what she was looking for. She flashed the lioness a smile and then started to speak again. "Okay maybe not teamwork, but..." He thought about it for a few seconds trying to figure out "Well Pride-spirit." With adding me and the other lioness as leaders and just everyone not being around. There aren't man other that are around at the moment. But I think everyone is going to come around!" She grinned a little before thinking about the offer and then laughing a little. "Well lets tgo then!"

Yin-Bug Want to do another rp with this trio out on their "adventure"? XD
"Alright! C'mon Lore! Lead the way Fleur!" This was going to be a jolly time. He waited as Lore joined him, then went to follow the lioness.
"Coming!" She chirpped and quickly fluttered down to land on the black lion's back. This was going to be fun for her too! She was going to make the extra attempt to find something nice for some loa. It wasn't about getting favors from them, just that she wanted to. Lions weren't the only ones that could give offerings.

A large grin grew on her face as she jumped to her feet. Her tail flicked around behind her and she was extremely excited to get moving. Her tail flicked around behind her excitedly. "Lets go gather what we need to lure in a Loa then!" She grinned eat to eat at the male and his bird before she started to move. She stretched her legs out before she started to walk. " I think I konw the best place to start! Follow me!" and with that she was off.
