Amaya arrived at the memorial, it had been a long road of travel to come this far. She didn't know where she was, she knew that she was in Amegakure. But that was almost all information that she knew for now. She was prepared, prepared to meet any shinobi that was going to get onto her path, it would be a good training. The training that she so desired to become acknowledges by the others. Mostly her village members. She scratched her head while looking around, a white light came out of a small opening, not bigger than a normal door. It was a phenomenom to see something like that in the ruins and surrounding wasteland of Amegakure, a land that only had one clear characteristic. Death to anyone that wandered the path for too long.

She walked towards the white light, it led her to some kind of memorial, a room that seemed bigger than it actually was. There were two pillars in the middle, clearly the main support of this room, behind those pillars was the main part of the room. A large wall that had been decorated with the painting of two white angels. Next to that were two other pillars, support for the roof aswell. The room was built into a circular form, only this part of the room having a special form. It was the part of the room that grabbed Amaya's attention the moment she walked in, a diagonal part that had a large hole in it. Filled with the most pure white paper she would probably ever see. The rest of the room's decoration was made out of paper aswell. The angels were made out of little paper knots, the flowers that were hanging on the front pillar were made out of origami. Someone clearly spent thousands of hours decorating this room, making the perfect memorial and location to remember the death. It would almost be a waste to fight someone here, but Amaya didn't care about that. People had fought at the grave of her brother, her own family had fought there, she was as coldhearted as could be. Not caring if anyone would face her in this spot, or outside in the constant rain of the death land.

Rin had gotten caught in the rain of Amegakure’s weather, the perfect weather for someone of Rin’s capabilities. She was sent on a mission to investigate a memorial that belonged to an old Akatsuki member that had used her powers to build it. The Akatsuki member’s name was Konan who had specialized in Origami and adapted that as her main form of jutsu, one of them being shinigami dance, or was it shikigami, Rin couldn’t quite remember what she had read. Rin, look out, there will most likely be another genin that was sent there to battle you. Don’t fear though, you should be able to win, either wise you wouldn’t have been chosen. You’re red ice, you have a name to uphold. she thought to herself as she noticed a girl walk into the same memorial. Rin instantly got her defences up and became more alert as her feet traced through the small puddles making little if not any sound that wasn’t drowned out by the rain. The seemed to have no care in the world as she walked in, no weapon in hand prepared to defend her if they were someone to suddenly attack her from inside. Rin followed her, silently stalking her prey.

Rin walked into the building, her eyes analyzing everything in sight. The paperwork that when into it, the soft white flowers that were as white as snow filling something that would look like dirt would be held there, the walls marble stone walls or what she thought it look like illuminated the light that shone through the small light and the amazing art work created from paper, the creases and crevasses giving the two angels that were made an added depth to them. She saw the girl again and noticed that she seemed rather... stoic. Perhaps she was sent there to fight Rin, perhaps not, it was all a matter of time before Rin would have to make the first move but something seemed rather deadly about the kill, but she couldn’t put her name on it. ”I see you made it her safely, now you die...” she said softly to the girl, her eyes narrowed and her lips pursed slightly, to show that she had a emotionless expression. The fun was about to begin and Rin would play with her new toy for as long as she could.

Amaya had heard some steps and small sounds when she was travelling, especially in Amegakure. It seemed that there were more people here that had a true intent for murder and fighting, something that was rare to see in Sunagakure. It wasn't just the Amegakure shinobi, they probably wouldn't wander around this much, for nothing. There were shinobi from other lands, far lands. Lands that were not even close to her own desert. Yet it seemed pretty abandoned for what road she had traveled through Amegakure. But she could've been mistaking, yet again there was also a possibility no shinobi had noticed the little girl, dressed up in a brown ragged coat, supposed to keep her warm. What was it? Did anyone notice her or not?
She got an answer to her question the moment she thought of it, she heard a voice behind her. A soft voice, not a voice that would say words like that daily, well that was her first impression. She was going to die? It was too soon for a stranger to decide upon that faith, well that was her first thought. It gave her a small grin, laughing at her own humor.

She turned her head around and looked at the girl carefully, her stance would easily be mistaken for insecure and not being able to lift a finger if anything would happen. That was the main mistake people made when they saw a young girl dressed up in colorful clothes or a ragged brown coat. The coat covered up her outfit and backpack, even her forehead protector. She turned her entire body around, only showing a covered mass. She looked at the girl, cold eyes, a straight mouth. It was like she looked at her mirror image when she came back from the grave of her little brother. A face that didn't care for anything anymore, only to see others suffer. Make them feel the pain that she had felt just minutes ago.
"N-no introduction?" speech wasn't her best ability, yet she kept her focus, if they were to battle she would make up for her stuttering. The adrenaline would change her shy and insecure appearance into a tough fighting machine, somebody that would laugh at the verge of death.

Rin remained emotionless, her face displaying nothing, no hints of thoughts, no hints of doubt, just blank. She was one of the strongest Genin from Kirigakure and that wasn’t a lie. She achieved with excellence and at the top of her classes in the academy and far exceeded the expectations for a genin. She began to analyse the girl, a soft smirk forming on Rins lips. Female, age... early teens if not mid, no weapon that I can see... Kunai in sight, no... Perhaps she is good with ninjutsu and genjutsu... possibly a puppeteer. Body posture... Shy and unwilling, perhaps it’s an act? Yes it’s an act, Ninja don’t shy away... She’s hiding much from visible sight. Coat could indicate that she is from a village with a hostile environment, too shy to be that of land of iron, she’s not from Amegakure, and they have policies, which leave Sunagakure and Kirigakure. I come from Kiri and I have never seen her around. That’s it, she’s from Suna, and they have a lot of puppeteers. She must be one, her fingers have the look that a puppet master has. She thought as she smiled at the girl, her mind calculating everything it could from visual sight.

”You don’t need to introduce yourself, I know all there is to know. You’re a genin, from Sunagakure, puppeteer by the looks of it. Although these are just theories I have, I don’t have to confirm these." she said, her tone shifting to that of intrigue. ”What business does a Suna Ninja have here?” she said, asking the girl. Rin wouldn’t be able to know if she was telling the truth but she didn’t really care who she was, the mission required her to fight whoever was to appear at the memorial. Rin smiled, knowing that she had no definable marking to give her clan away, or her village, her hands were covered from her undershirt and that hid her plates of origin and her attire was different to that of a Kiri ninja. Most assumed she was from iwagakure and she couldn’t blame them, they tended to wear a lot of red as did Rin but hers was because it fit the purpose of her characteristics. Rin smiled as she waited for the girl to attack. Rin knew the basic principles of battle and understood them to an amazing degree. Everything was a matter of time before the genin would realize why Rin was sent.

She looked at the girl, was she an analystic type? She saw a smirk as the girl looked at her from top to bottom, in the worst case she was a young Jounin with some crazy ability, there was no way out anyway. She didn't mind, she was rather curious, curious towards the abilities that the girl possessed. Her facial look was cold, still as cold as she had seen earlier. If she was this cold and was analystic then only a blink of her would explain all of her own abilities, she bit her lip. Not of nervousness, more of a excitement. The excitement she felt when her mentor, Haseo Okari was around.

Her eyes widened a bit as the girl told Amaya her own powers, like a mirror, impressive. It made some adrenaline rush through her veins. Alongside her widened eyes a wide smile opened up, the smile of suprisement, but yet excitement. "Impressive, you must have some mind reading abilities then. What land uses that kind of techniques eh?", the adrenaline allowed her to speak fluently. If she already assumed she was a puppeteer then she couldn't suprise her that much. But her unique abilities with puppets could. "I was just looking around, to be fair". She looked around the memorial. She didn't lie to the girl, she was only on a travel. A travel to experience the world. This could turn out quite nasty. She looked at the girl from top to bottom, her appearance told as much about her as her own ragged coat told about herself. Was she from Iwagakure? No, they used another colour of red, this was more reddish, the colour of blood. Which land could affiliate with blood? She was thinking of one of her days in the library, the names of the countries. Country of the red blood mist, the hidden mist. That was very unlikely though. The hidden mist was quite far away from here. She chuckled at the girl, looking right into her eyes.
"Well, you did my introduction. Can you do your own now?". Her patience could make the girl frustrated, she was as patient as a predator hunting down its pray. Like a vulture.

Rin's facial expressions reverted back to the calm, cold and calculating stare, one that sent shivers up children’s spine and cause small goose bumps to appear on said child’s arm. She wasn’t going to share information with another ninja, it kept her one step ahead but the girl would click to her prowess if she used any form of her bloodline jutsu. Rin carried a very rare kekkei genkai at this time and age, the hyouton release, a special genetic inheritance passed down through the generations of Yuki clan members. She smiled looking at the young genin, her stare piercing the girls soul as if she wasn’t staring at her, but through her, like she was an ominous creature that Rin’s imagination had made up but it wasn’t, Rin was trying to spoke the young girl. Fear was motivation for most ninja, fear was what made Shinobi stronger and when they accepted that it was there fear, they always came out as stronger and Rin’s fear was something relatively hard to accept. The fear of expectations. The Mizukage had expected her to win this fight with little effort but a puppet master had many tricks and Rin would have to think logically and rationally.

”My name is of no concern to you, all that you need to know is that I am from Kirigakure.” she stated, her tone unwavering as she spoke. Rin had her usual exterior on, and her mental notes of the girl were piling up. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly how she will attack but there’s a way for me to beat her puppet techniques, This she can’t hide from me. As I recall, puppets used chakra threads from the users finger tips to the users puppet, cutting them with a bit of chakra on a kunai or senbon will disrupt the flow and cause the user to momentarily lose control of the puppet. Puppets are based off of the human anatomy, well most are so there’s no doubt each puppet has hidden traps inside, if you ever come up against a puppet master, take extreme caution when in combat and deflect all projectiles. That was a nice little trip down memory lane, now I just have to wait for her to use her puppet and I should gain the advantage. she thought as she looked at the genin. Deep down Rin knew that the girl was hiding something, but what was the question she would ask herself until the girl displayed her true colors.

"Are you scared?" She looked at the girl as if she was looking from above her, looking down. Her voice had a death serious tone in it. It was not the tone that was taunting someone. The question was deadly serious, even to the point where if someone didn't see the two persons it could be two friends talking to each other, like it had some concern. She looked at the girl, giving her back a deadly stare, the stare that was born from the murder on a child, a helpless child that could not fight back against the enormous power that had crushed his own life. The stare of a traumatised human. What was this girls power? For her to have such a calm attitude even if she was facing a smaller and younger enemy, as if she had already won a fight when she walked into the room. She wasn't scared of fighting either, seeing that she had no concern to respect the death of people that she didn't know.

"Kirigakure? Then my expectations were right, yours were right aswell, I am from Sunagakure". Her tone remained deadly calm and serious, as if she was luring out a reaction, by mirroring the exact behaviour the female shinobi had shown her. She needed to analyse what her opponent could do aswell, if she was a Genin, which was one of the few options if she could even try to win this fight, then she had some kind of trump card. A technique or arsenal of techniques that allowed her certainty of not getting into dangerous situations. Kirigakure was famous for Kenjutsu and water users, so was it something with the water style? Or did it even surpass that? Did she possess a bloodline trait? The Sharingan perhaps? Seeing her stare being so calm and deadly. She moved her hand up, scratching her cheek. She looked at the girls face, her hair was black enough to be an Uchiha.
"Can I atleast get to know your name? That is the least form of respect you can give your opponent, since you won't be going away without making an uproar here". the last sentence came with a bit of anger in her voice. She was only looking around, and this overconfident Kirigakure shinobi would just come kick her out of a holiday? No way that she was going to be cornered or beaten out that easily.

Rin
Rin slid a senbon down to her hand as she paced left, her feet cuffing along the ground, echoing throughout the memorial of whoever was previously there. She had asked if she was scared, but scared of what? There was no expectation that Rin would lose, she had no doubt in her ability as a ninja, she had killed higher ups and she did it with relative ease so a genin scaring her seemed like a moronic question but she would at least reply to the young girl. ”Would someone who is scared. Walk into a place and block the entrance to a person she was sent to kill? Would I really be as scared of the likes of a Suna shinobi, and that of a genin.” she said, her tone matching that of the girls. Rin kept her serious facade on, watching her as she turned and walked the other way, back to her previous position. Change of tone may mean she’s scared or fearful; perhaps she’s more excited at the opportunity to have an actual fight. Drastic change in demeanour indicates that she’s allowing her true colors to shine through, perhaps this is who she really is? Perhaps not. It may be another act so be sure to take into consideration body posture... yes, this is her true self, no more shying away, posture is great, death in her eyes. She has experienced much but what? Perhaps death of a family member or lover? Hmm... interesting girl indeed.”

The girl had figured out she was from kirigakure before she was told, Rin smiled at the girls analytical prowess and then frowned at the same time. ”Your English grammar confuses me, how do you expect someone to be from a village, you can assume but not expect something without knowing that a village was after you.” she stated, belittleling the young genin. She girl seemed to have a demeanour that matched hers, something was cold about this young shinobi, she seemed a lot more sadistic and ruthless than most genin, if not well versed in how to stare down an opponent and speak like a sannin. How didn’t I realise this before, Sunagakure has a Sannin in it, she’s more than likely under his tutelage, this could be interesting indeed. she thought as she stopped and turned her head to face that of the young genin.

Finally, the girl asked for her name, it was to be expected but not answered with her name but with mere belittlement. ”Respect isn’t given to an opponent, it’s earned. You have not earned my name yet. she said letting a soft laugh leave her mouth. She was well prepared for the girl to attack with her puppet, she made sure she had a senbon in each hand, hidden under her long, red sleeved undershirt. This girl wanted to play games. Rin would play with her for as long as the girl kept her pointless questions up.

"So you are taking your battle stance now?" She smiled with a look of sarcasm on her face. She had noticed the air shifting around her opponent, she had gotten more serious, ready to attack. She lowered her hand and let it slide down onto her back, where her backpack was. The big brown coat covered most of her movements, she smiled as the words came at her, stating that she wasn't scared.
"You shouldn't underestimate an opponent if you haven't seen them in action yet, I'm not doing that towards you either, am I?". She let out a little smile on her face. She opened the zipper of her backpack, it made no sound. She attached her chakra strings of her left hand to the puppet.

"Thank you for the hint, I appreciate it, yet aren't you missing the big point here? Even though my Grammar is far worse than yours it will not decide the outcome of this battle, will it?". Since the two girls were very familiar she just rampled things that came into her head. The girl would understand, she couldn't do the same thing for a long time. She only had that understanding with her younger brother, Nobu. She launched her puppet out of her backpack, into the hole filled with paper behind her, where the bodies originally rested. Thus making it that her opponent couldn't see her puppet.
She readied Ao Hato to move through the paper and fire kunai out of it, if the girl would attack with a kunai or senbon, perhaps even a sword.

She looked into Rin's eyes for the last time as she hold a small speech about respect. She frowned "If you don't want to tell I will just have to kick it out of you.I will adept to you, lowering my so called expectations about you, since you clearly like that word, replacing it as a teacher in my sentences. I will underestimate you, the same way that you are underestimating me.". She smiled with another sarcastic smile, she wanted the girl to get angry, even mad.

Rin simply smiled at the girl. She wasn’t in her stance yet but with one small movement she was. She shifted her right foot back, behind her left and smiled, her senbon slowly being covered in chakra to cut an threads that were to come or were already out. This also helped strengthen her Senbon and keep them from breaking as easily and used little if any chakra. She smiled at the girls frustration she was causing the young genin. ”Who said I was underestimating anyone? I have basically analyzed you done to the very nail, what could you possibly do to surprise me? Puppeteers rely heavily on their puppets hidden traps and poisons in them, and you being that of a genin seem rather skilled in Puppet control or whatever fancy term you call it. she said, her sadistic tone surfacing, her calmness deepening to that of a serene state of mind, the clarity she was having was immense. When her mind got like this she was able to have slight predictions due to muscle movements in the body but was unable to pick out exactly what her opponent would do but her opponent was a puppet master, movement of the finger was always needed and a slight twitch would indicate what way and where the puppet would move. She smiled as she waited for the girl to do something, because it was clear that she was finally ready to fight.

The girl was polite enough to thank Rin for her helpful tip in grammar but the girl seemed to question how it would affect the outcome. Rin simply smirked. ”Grammar because you must get your diction and correct placement of words to perform jutsu. she stated. It wasn’t entirely true but it certainly wasn’t a lie. Diction was something that was important in pronouncing something and the clearer is was the better, but just as she was going to begin speaking again, the sound of something shooting towards paper was heard. This was her chance to cut the threads and hit the girl at the same time. Rin pushed off her right foot and blurred through with great speed, before the girl had even started her new statement and just as she said “if you don’t want to tell” Rin had blurred behind her and cut the threads and whispered in her ear. ”You’re talking too much, and you may wanna reattach those threads of yours, I may have accidently cut them.” she said before blurring back to her position before using her speed to her advantage. She wasn’t impressed, not one bit. But life was filled with disappointments and Rin had learnt to accept that.

"Its true that puppeteers rely on their puppets, but does a true shinobi only possess one weapon?" All the humor was pulled out of her face, she didn't want to talk to this girl anymore, she hated people that were too overcondifent. Was she underestimating her? She certainly was, but arguing with the girl wasn't going to change that. She just needed to win this fight, or get out of this place alive. People that taunted her. It made her angry. But she didn't lose her self control over some little taunts. She smiled at the girl, seeing as how her eyes were staring at her. She was trying to gain advantages in her movements, her cloak didn't allow that advantage.

She had to agree with the girl with the diction of the words, it was more than important to pronounce the words correctly, but it couldn't be helped. She wouldn't make any mistakes while using jutsu, well not with the names at least. She saw the girl flashing before her eyes, cutting the strings that were attached to her bird puppet. She was taunting her, humiliating her before her eyes. She wanted to break her emotionally? She smiled at her even trying that. "Its even more disrespectful to interrupt someone that is speaking". She looked at her opponent getting back at the original place, she formed handsigns under her coat while she was travelling. She couldn't do anything without her puppet for now.

User Image

She formed the hand signs: Horse, Ox, Monkey quickly under her coat, it was at Jounin level, her skills with puppetry and her genius mind allowed her to perform hand signs at a devastating rate. A rate most people would get terrified off by just looking at it. She slammed her hands on the ground after the monkey, she spoke the words with a monstrous grin.
"Wind Release - Wind Bridge Jutsu! (C Rank)" She flew towards the hole filled with paper with an enormous speed, this jutsu was originally ment to send her puppet into a gigantic speed, a crashing speed towards the opponent, she needed the hole and paper for her next technique. She smiled as she felt the paper under her feet.

Rin smiled at the girl who thought it was so rude to just interrupt her and in such a manner to. Rin couldn’t care less, she just wanted to win, she needed to win and with that she thought about what she could do. The young girl had preformed a jutsu to get her away from Rin, one that used tremendous speed to get her away but she didn’t realise that Rin could move at tremendous speeds as well. As soon as the girl left the ground and propelled back, she blurred to the where she assumed would land and place a paper bomb there, and blurred back in less than seconds and made the illusion of her appearing to have not moved one bit and that would be rather hard to see for a person who was flying in the air. She smiled as she slid a kunai with a paper bomb attached to it, and threw it at the young genin who was now standing close to her first paper bomb tag. As the kunai and paper bomb neared her she triggered them both, her eyes watching the explosion send out its powerful shockwave. This was her chance to do something whilst she would be distracted.

She smiled and threw one more paper bomb at the roof of where the explosion was occurring, her eyes closing in on it as it hit the roof. She triggered it again, causing the ceiling to collapse in on the genin and with 3 large explosions occurring how would she react. Analysis, that should have at least given some severe burns that would need treatment, if she was going to treat it she would need to remain still. I can’t allow her to remain still, puppet masters may never stand still, that’s when they’re at their strongest. she thought as she held her two senbon back in her hand. Although she could see the girl had training, Rin was displaying skill of that of the Chuunin she had seen, in an attempt to confuse the girl about her rank. Rin had a plan, and so far it was working. ”are you okay sweetie?” She said, a slight laugh following behind her it.

Equipment lost.
1 x Kunai.
3 x paper bombs.
1 x a little pride in her post.

Amaya looked around at the actions of the Genin girl. She was flying above the paper where Ao Hato had landed, using her pidgeon puppet would be pretty useless in situations like these, she smiled as she noticed the paper bomb underneath her. She attached some chakra strings to the nearby puppet and pulled him through the paper, making a wave of paper, that would limit the explosion. She used her free hand to grab the scroll of Akiwari out of her bag, she noticed a second paper bomb coming into her direction. The paper would damp away the explosion, a bit. But she couldn't allow two to hit at once, she used her puppet to fire some kunai, she had readied him to fire at the beginning of the fight. Now she released the scroll and rolled it out above her head. Biting in her finger allowing blood to slip out and landing out of the scroll, blood would perhaps scare the girl a bit. She looked up at the scroll knowing that the bomb under her would crash anyhow, burn wounds would be inevitable. She hoped the kunai hit that were fired at the flying paper bomb.

She started forming the hand signs while having a stoned look on her face, she was pleased. She didn't care for the outcome of this fight, if she would die here it would be a waste. She would miss them all, Ozora, Ishimaru, perhaps even her mentor Haseo and the Kazekage. But she couldn't die without causing massive damage, without summoning her last resort. If she were to die she would become the opposite of her brother, she would go out as a true demon. With an explosion. Taking the arrogant Kirigakure girl with her.

She started forming the hand signs; Boar Dog Monkey Bird Tiger. She slammed her bloody finger on the summoning scroll, while hearing the paper bomb go off, she saw a third one attached to the roof. She would use it as diversion, Akiwari could handle rubble easily. She looked at the girl before the explosions took place.
"This battle will end with two death or two people that are alive, and I don't think I will survive for very long if it continues like this." She showed the girl an evil grin, all the hatred and silence of the past 4 years just started spitting out, her eyes spitting death, fire, even bloodlust. It was time to end this as a true demon. She pointed her finger at the girl, while the blood of her finger fell on her lip, she opened her mouth again.
"I'm taking you with me, Prey!" Her corner teeth got exposed even more widely. She used her advanced puppet skills to fire Ao Hato in a ball towards the Genin before the explosion occuring. The explosion went off, an enormous amount of paper flew up in the air. Alongside the rubble that came from the roof, she should be able to avoid the rubble though. The puppet ball flew with a devastating speed towards Rin, the impact would crush the puppet.
