Hey there, this whole thing is based off of a dream I had last night. It doesn't have to be overly professional and it can be as long as you see fit to write it. I would love to discuss this further with you.

My poison: A story, however long you feel like taking it.
The lead role: The main characters are called Gwendolyn Jones and Matthew McGann. Side Characters are Maryanne Crayn, her husband George and his two friends Wilbur and Gary.
Maryanne and George are well to do, low end of rich couple who live in a gated community. George and his two friends, who also live in the community, go on long fishing excursions and generally stay out drinking most of the time leaving Maryanne alone for the most part. She is a quiet and well mannered house wife who honestly prefers the time to herself no matter how lonesome it can sometimes get. George is loud and loves to party as well as Wilbur and Gary. The three of them are the bane of most of the neighborhood and are not well liked by most of the people living there. The only reason they live where they do is because George gained a hefty inheritance from his parents. Charming the pants off of Maryanne in high school and keeping her around ever since, her parents are simply happy to have her well taken care of.

Wilbur and Gary are generically looking similar to George.
Gwendolyn is a shy reporter for the town the gated community is in. She is trying to get a promotion but as she is easily stepped on and pushed aside she hasn't had much luck. Luckily for her a pretty serious story pops up in the gated community that Gwendolyn in sent out to cover with the instruction that if she can get it done right she will have her promotion.
Gwendolyn
Matthew is a eccentric detective(The cliche is painful I know) who is off to deal with the story in question that Gwendolyn is meant to cover. He is boisterous, blustery, and a bit sexually frustrated and throws himself around like an anxty teenager. He is charismatic enough to make most women swoon and is oblivious enough to not realize his strange actions have an effect on females. He is also fresh out of Scotland yard only he was discharged for "mouthing off" to a commanding officer for lack of better phrasing. His raging frustration comes accross as anger a good deal of the time.
Matthew
The setting: modern time in the summer, Riverview Lakeside Cotteges, a northeastern style gated community of cotteges where the wealthy play.
Plot: When George and his friends go out like always they don't come back. When Maryanne files a missing persons on her husband and his two friends the police are baffled. They could find no trail, no trace, so sign. So of course a professional is called. Matthew McGann a ex Scotland yard detective who came to America. Meanwhile Gwendolyn Jones goes to cover the story much to the distaste of Maryanne who would rather it all kept under wraps. The two women become friends over the course of the investigation, however as Gwenny tries to get involved with the investigation Matthews charms take effect on her.
