• Name: Flora Claus.
• Age: Fifteen.
• Gender: Female.
• Personality: Flora presents herself as a cordial lady. She greets every individual who graces her presence with lovely manners that were seared into her personality by her mother. She takes moments in stride, never rushing even when it is required of her. Even towards confrontations when one challenges her, she chooses to remain pessimistic and shrug off any hostile instigation with a light chortle. Yet, despite her proper facade, her face reflects a more serious character.

Flora is not much of a smiler. Instead, her face tends to reflect a slackened neutrality or indifference towards the world. Of course, it does not mean smiling is impossible. She has a practiced gesture of presenting a simple simper in the midst of a camera, but otherwise, she stares off almost dozily at other people and events. Indeed, her expression is the key point to determining her mood. It is hard to wake her enthusiasm. Yet, even then, her exuberance towards anything that interests her comes off as half-loved. However, Flora is rather coy and playful. Ridiculous banter and cute exchanges are enough to have her chortling. Her sense of humor like her sprinkled innocence is childish. She is more open to finding amusement towards items that would make a mature individual chagrin with dismay.

Flora has a mild disposition and many have remarked her as having a kind soul. She's one to do anything for anyone -- no matter the circumstance, time, or place. Flora will sacrifice what she must to please another, shying away concern of herself for others. So long as the feat is humanly possible, of course. If it is something unheard of or completely vulgar, it doesn't take her much to muster up a no. Nevertheless, Flora tends to aerate a certain pleasantness and warmth towards others no matter who they are. With this comes certain tenderness and concern for those in need. She tends to put others before herself, not caring of her own well being as long as another is fine.
• Biography: Flora is the eldest daughter of Adrock and Ramona Claus. Yet, since her birth, she's been overshadowed by her sister, Mayrose. Her parents had wished a bountiful life for her as a master in medicine. From her first breath to her eventual last, they'd pieced together her life from how she would be raised, to where she'd be schooled, to even who she'd be expected to marry. Flora complied of their wishes until she came of age nine and started earning other interests. From the bone structure of humans to the traversing of veins, the young girl shifted her attention towards imaginative ideas -- namely Pokémon myth and legend.

She was bewitched by the wondrous powers of legendary Pokémon and their outstanding impact to the world in comparison to normal humans. As she fed her mind more information on the histories of these incredible creatures, she began to slowly forget the countless facts of her medical education. Adrock and Ramona panicked and slowly tried to coax their daughter's interests away from such "petty things" and back to where they believed her thoughts should be, but their attempts came to no avail. Flora was too entranced with Pokémon myth to ever find glee in what they had planned for her. Yet, her parents did not accept their failure. An opportunity was always there.

They had another child, a girl by the name of Mayrose, who would become the shining star of their heavens. From age five, she picked up a talent in artistry, and her parents pushed her in that direction by hiring as many talented mentors they could find. As they shifted their attention to Mayrose, Flora became an afterthought. She became aware of this rather early at age fourteen and, feeling neglected, decided if they did not want her in their life, she would rid them of herself. She decided on heading out on her journey on her own, not informing her family in the process.

• Name: Fawn Manti
• Age: Sixteen
• Gender: Female
• Personality: Fawn is a very happy-go-lucky teen. She can easily spend her days helping her mother with her PokePark or hanging out by the old tree in her front yard, reading. As an only child, Fawn was a bit spoiled; getting what ever she wanted. Now that she grew out of the spoiled phase, she understands how to appreciate her things more.

Any time she can, Fawn is smiling. She loves to think of the positive side of her life. Even though she stayed in school until now, rather than becoming a pokemon trainer when she was ten, she loves the idea of being able to care for one of the small pokemon, working as a team and growing the bond between the two.

Even though Fawn had anything she wanted, she still has a leveled head knowing when to back down or when to apologize. She isn't hard-headed at all, easily giving in to someone. She loves to help others and can't wait to begin her journey, making new friends.

• Biography: Fawn is the only child of Lynn and Ren Manti. Once she was born, she was the best thing in her parents' life. She grew up to be a nice kid - though she had her spoiled stage - but she always helped when she was needed. Her parents opened a PokePark for trainers to let their pokemon relax and she has been taking care of them since she was ten. She loved to hang out with the pokemon and she would spend as much time as she could there.

As she grew up, she spent less and less time there, going to school and other things. One day while she was walking home from school, she saw a pokemon looking for it's trainer. Fawn helped all through the night, asking people if they owned it, and didn't find it's owner until early the next morning. It made her truly happy and wanted to form a bond herself with a pokemon, to become partners.

• Appearance: X
• Other: Fawn likes to return to the PokePark whenever she can to check in with her old friends.
• Pokemon Party:

"They were once of one, now of two, split by the beliefs of these feuding siblings. Yet, the two was of three, for the existing shell left over -- hollow -- awaits a hero to fill its body with truth or ideals. It is through- Hey!"

A Lillipup jumped right onto Flora's book, frightening her with a start and breaking her concentration from the tome of lore. She darted a glare at the canine and refocused it from the Pokemon to its trainer -- a young man -- who came running up to her. He bent at the waist, balancing his palms on his knees, as he tried to catch his breath.

"Sorry 'bout that!" He apologized, striding forward and picking his Pokemon off her book. "Ace here wanted to race and-"

Flora did not want to hear it. She rose from the ledge of the fountain she sat at, tucked her book beneath her arm, and turned away from him silently, making her way off from Nuvema Town's square. Defying her parents was simply out of the question and she was still shaken up from leaving without granting them a farewell. Still, she had a reason for being there: Flora was in need of her first Pokemon. She was awaiting the time the lab would open and, just then, figured it might be.

Fawn Manti

The petite ginger walked out of her parents' PokePark with a smudged apron around her waist. Since her parents worked in the square, it was a slight walk between her work and her home. She decided to take the long way home, watching the trainers play with their friends. As she looked around, she noticed a Lillipup running and landing ontop of a girl's book.

She watched carefully to see what the girl would do but she just stood and walked away. She quickly caught up with her and touched her shoulder. Hey are you okay? I saw the Lillipup jump on your book. Just wanted to make sure you weren't hurt. She said with a smile.

After noticing what she did, she quickly put her hand down and slightly bowed. Oh... I'm sorry. She said hoping this girl wouldn't hate her automatically.

Flora had not known if the voice was directed toward her. She kept on walking, but went stone stiff when she felt a hand upon her shoulder. Her head made a sharp turn to the palm on her being and her eyes followed the curve of a forearm, the tip of an elbow, the slender, but broad arch of a shoulder, and finally connected the limb to an owner and a face. Flora regarded the unknown ginger with neither a look of open civility or disgust. Her face was of complete neutrality, though with a slight pinch of annoyance in her eyes.

"I'm fine," Magnolia said in a monotone voice. With that taken cared of, the mauve-haired teen decided it was time to find Professor Juniper's lab. She walked a few paces away from the other figure, but suddenly paused. Her mind ticked when an idea, but considering Flora's social awkwardness, she knew not how to initiate it. Eventually, she decided to go through with it, just to save on her travel time.

"Um," she began, but fell quiet. Flora cleared her throat and tried again. "D-Do you know the location of Juniper's lab? I'm a new- a to-be trainer."

Fawn Manti

Fawn felt a coldness from the girl but knew it wasn't towards her. She probably had something on her mind. When the girl began to walk away, she felt a little awkward, having to walk that way anyways to drop her apron off and the see Professor Juniper.

As she thought of walking back to the PokePark, she heard the girl speak again. She was talking about Juniper. Oh, I'm actually on my way there. I just have to drop off my work clothes. I can take you there miss.... She said, not knowing the woman's name.

She was confoundedly content upon hearing that the other was on her way to Juniper's lab as well. Unfortunately, her mirth was not reflected on her face, as usual. Flora gave the other a single nod. She looked expectantly at the girl, but dropped her gaze for fear that their acquaintanceship might grow more awkward. The teen waited patiently for the girl to get a move on, insisting on staying silent the entire way. Randomly, throughout their travel to Juniper's place, she said, "Flora," as if she expected the meaning of her name to be evident via statement alone.

Fawn Manti

Fawn smiled when she heard the girl's name. Flora... that's pretty. She commented as she began to walk to her home. They walked a little while, and Fawn listened to the ramble of her neighbors. She waved and said her 'hellos' when needed and then they made their way to her home.

Opening the door she called out, I'm home!, to hear her mother in the kitchen. Hi hun! I'm just making lunch for your father. Fawn looked to Flora. You can come upstairs. She said walking up the stairs to her side of the house. She threw her apron on her lounge and rummaged through her closet until she found her brown bag.

Turning around with a smile, she looked at Flora. Professor Juniper's lab is right across the street, so we can head there. She said going back to the stairs. She leaned over. Ma, I'm going to Juniper's Lab! She called out. As her mom answered, she walked out of the door and waited for Flora to join her, and locked the door behind them.

"Thank you," Flora said, the compliment eliciting a slight (read: very, very tiny) smile on her lips. Upon reaching Fawn's house, Flora stopped a few paces from her home's entrance. She stared up at it, taking in the structure's size. It was much smaller than her family's manor, but had a air of civility to it. All in all, the white painted, grey shingled building reminded the girl of a dollhouse.

Flora nodded her head and, once again followed the girl into her home and up the staircase. She twiddled her thumbs behind her back as she rocked to and fro on her heels patiently. The teen looked about the girl's room, taking it in as she did her house. Once again, it reeked of normality which Flora was comfortable with, but not used to. Her eyes pipped up when she heard Professor Juniper was just across the way.

"All right," Magnolia said, a bit of mirth in her voice. Finally, she was getting her journey started. She followed Fawn over to the large lab, prepared to meet the woman whose father was a renowned researcher.

Fawn Manti

Fawn got to the large lab doors and smiled. Here it is. She said as she opened the door for them. A couple of men in lab coats welcomed them in and she saw professor Juniper at the other side. Ushering Flora to her, she waved. Hi Professor! She said as they got to her. Oh it seems it's time for two new trainers, huh? Fawn nodded. This is my new friend, Flora. We're both looking for a pokemon. She said as she watched Juniper get three pokeballs. She laid them on the table. Pick one. There is Snivy, the grass-type pokemon; Oshawott, the water-type pokemon; and Tepig, the fire-type pokemon. She said, gesturing to the pokemons.

Out Of Coffee :: I'm back from Hiatus~ lol I was fighting a nasty cold... but it's gone for the most part.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 23, 2013 9:35 pm

The mauve-haired girl was taken aback by the sheer size of Professor Juniper's lab. Pokemon already owned by trainers flocked to and fro about the back of the building. Flora tried not to concentrate on them and instead go for her own, following Fawn inside. Upon seeing the brunette, the teen began to shrivel up with both admiration and nervousness. She didn't want to move any near.

Aurea Juniper's name was quite well known to Flora. She'd been following the woman's studies when her interests shifted to Pokemon myth. Though the other likely regarded her as just another new trainer, Flora saw her as a celebrity. Instead of remarking the older woman with a greeting, Flora simply granted her a fidgety wave. Her eyes glanced to the choices presented to her. Flora was unsure what to pick. She'd had weighed both the pros and cons of the Pokemon and could not make a choice. So, she let fate choose for her, and closed her eyes and jabbed one of the sphere's buttons at random.

[[ It is quite all right! I hope you make a full recovery very, very soon~ Is there a certain Pokemon you're hoping to pick for Fawn? I didn't want to go for one that you wanted, which was the reason for the ambiguous choice by Flora. However, if you're planning of giving her a Pokemon that isn't one of the starters, she'll be going with Snivy. ]]
