It was later in the night as Aydine whistles a cheerful tune as she dances about the tops of some gravestones, spinning her scythe around and her wings flapping about to keep her balance, her red eyes literally glowed with delight in the shadows, her scythe cutting through the air with a soft whooshing sound. She was still new to this world, but it was a joyous time indeed. Souls cried out to her from the war and more begged for freedom. She ignored them, unable to do much of anything for them, but reveled in the emotions that riled through the air.((So far as I've felt from her character is that she's able to sense and converse with spirits, but doesn't have the ability to actually help them in any way. She's a half-breed with very weak powers.))

Not far away in the same graveyard, Aeron walked slowly, following his own path among the tombstones and occasionally lowering his gaze to absently read the faded lettering on several. He wasn't sure what had prompted him to walk here of all places; perhaps as he explored his new-found devotion to his god, he found it peaceful and somewhat reassuring; that one can look forward to a long rest when everything is done, even though a part of him still wanted nothing more than to postpone the whole ordeal. His ears suddenly seemed to pick up a tiny thread of song, and he peered curiously ahead and saw what almost appeared to be a small winged devil dancing on the gravestones. A second look told him it was just a girl, albeit one with bat wings and red eyes.....definitely a curious sight, and his interest was peaked enough for him to venture closer.

Blissful to her new audience, she twirls about, spinning her scythe with one hand now. The cheery tune in her whistling was enough to make someone want to tap their feet to the beat at the least. It obviously didn't bother her that she was dancing on the tops of tombstones. She hops on top of one fancy tomb with a guardian angel on it, her wings furling out as she does a bow and dances about it for a moment before leaping to another tomb. The girl was obviously agile on her feet...that was a given, and her tune never broke as she moved about.

Not wanting to disturb the obvious fun the other was having in her dancing, Aeron stopped a short ways away and half hid behind a tree, watching. It passed his mind that it might be some sort of ritual, but the more he watched, the more convinced he became that it was just someone having some fun. Still.....odd place to dance! He carefully edged further out from behind the tree, as though he were going to say something or make his presence known, but before he could do anything else, his foot stepped on a dead branch that the tree had shed last winter; laying there month after month, it had become the perfect consistency for making a nice loud SNAP! as he broke it. Freezing in place at the sound, he looked over at the dancer with wide eyes, seeing if she had heard.

Unfortunately for the dancing fool, she was in mid-jump when the sound broke her 'trance'. She jerks at the sound, whistling stopping in an instant as her foot misses it's mark and she slams into the side of the tombstone."Gugh!" Her scythe clunks to the ground, blade piercing the soil of a nearby grave and her wings flailing about. She proceeds to fall to the ground and scramble to her feet, grabbing her nearby scythe and whirling it around to face her audience, red eyes wild in surprise and face flushed in mild embarrassment. Aydine had no clue if this newcomer was friend or foe, especially having hear of a war recently coming to a stand-still.

Aeron's eyes nearly bugged out of his head as the sound caused the dancer to stumble so badly that they did a spectacular spill involving hitting several tombstones on the way to the ground. "Oh Hell, are you okay?" he called out as he started to move forward, thinking she had a concussion, but at the sight of the scythe appearing from seemingly nowhere and gleaming at him as though thirsting for vengeance, he found himself pulling his own out, the one that Lukarius had given to him after he had pledged to serve him. The war was also fresh in his mind, and though he hadn't done spectacularly in his battles, he knew he was able to hold his own with a single opponent if need be.

"W-what do ya' want?" Her voice was soft and yet rough at the same time, almost that of a tomboy who was still on the edge of girly. She eyes his own scythe, a moment of interest perking in her eyes before she furls her wings out, attempting to make herself look 'bigger'. She knew it would be impossible, as they'd just witnessed her graceful fall. ((Popping in and out. Playing Warframe.))

((Daaaw, that's cute; wing puffing. X3))
Aeron had seen enough strange sights in the war to not be particularly scared of a pair of wings, though the effect did make the other Pockettu seem larger and more intimidating. he was also aware that he was technically the intruder here. "Want?.....Nothing really....I was just.....walking out here and I saw you. That's all. I didn't mean to make you fall and hurt yourself."

((After this post I gotta scramble to bed. It's 1:30am and I gotta work today. *flees*))
Narrowing her eyes finally as she looks over her guest, she scrunches up her face in an unladylike manor and twirls the scythe back to her side, shuffling her wings down to her back. Placing her other hand on her hip after flicking some hair out of her face, she speaks again, her voice softer and more pleasant. "Well, if you put it that way then you are forgiven." A soft flush rises to her cheeks again, making her bright red eyes glow more, "You just caught me off guard, that's all."
((Her personality is kinda in the wind right now. It's a come as it goes kinda thing. *flails* Her item info is gunna be "whistling while she reaps". *snickers*))

Aeron couldn't help but smile a little at the sudden change of attitude once he had said he was sorry. He tried to remember seeing this one around during the war; the scythe suggested to him that she might follow Lukarius like him, but he would definitely remember her face in the camp. He nodded at her scythe while keeping a firm grasp on his own. "What's yours for?"

((right?)) "Mine? Oh, this and that. Whatever it wants, really." She grins from ear to ear, pulling her scythe up to practically hug it, wings fluttering with glee. "Yours?"

((Didn't notice this had been replied to. A-durrrr. @m@))While hoping for a more direct answer and confirming his suspicions that they might follow the same deity, Aeron wasn't too particularly bothered, just shrugging at the question. "Pretty much the same for me too. Besides, you can't be too careful with all of the fighting still going on around here." There; at least he could hint of his involvement without letting her know just which side he was on, at least not until he knew himself and there was no chance of a small fracas getting started right there in the graveyard.

((*chuckles* No problem.)) Aydina lets out a soft sigh, "Yeah, that's a fact on it's own. Damned cursed giving so many problems." She scowls and twirls her scythe a bit, eying the other curiously, "My names' Aydina, by the way. I'm a bit new around here and figured since I serve the death god, hanging around a graveyard may find me some allies." She halts the spin, pointing it at the other, wings furling out a bit more, "So, are you enemy or foe?"

Aeron nodded in agreement; the Cursed had always been a problem, but now it seemed they were getting bold enough to really make a try for conquering the entire world, and if that happened, who knows what would become of the ordinary, uncursed Pockettu, or even worse, the uncursed who, like him, served a god. At this new information, a smile broke out on Aeron's face. "Well it worked, because you've found one. My name's Aeron, and I too serve the Lord of Death." As if to emphasize, he reached behind him and pulled out his treasured mask, the one Luk had given to him upon his acceptance, and placed it over half of his face, in order for Aydina to still see at least half of his grinning face.
