All OOC/planning chat should take place on the OOC thread. 6. Do not kill other people's characters. 7. This roleplay is based off the Teen Titan's TV show. Keep the rating around PG/PG-13. 8. You must fill out the application (located on the Profile thread) and have it accepted by me to join. 9. I am in charge. Rules may be added/changed at any time. 10. Have fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! 11. Please post once a week. If you cannot do this for some reason, let us know. Your character will either be temporarily moved off screen, or you can hand the character over to someone else for the time being. If you go a week without posting and without telling us, your character will be temporarily removed. After two weeks, you'll be removed from the roleplay. If we are in the middle of a fight, please post at least twice a week. If you are a villain while we're in the middle of a fight and don't post, I will temporarily take over your character to finish off the fight, or until you return.

Story You’re a hero, huh? Well, now’s the time to prove it. You’ve just been invited to join (by Robin no less) to join Titans North: the new Teen Titans base in Core City. Besides showing off your skills, you’re going to have to learn how to work with your new teammates. Not only in fighting crime, but figuring out who gets to use the bathroom first in the morning and whose turn it is to do the dishes. Trust me, it isn’t as easy at seems. Core City has recently become a network of criminal activity and it’s up to you and the rest of Titans North to bring these villains to justice. Your new base, Northfort, once an old military fort, has been completely renovated with top of the line technology. Use it well in your quest for justice. Or just to play video games. Remember, if you ever need any back-up, you can call on the Titans in Jump City, or Titans East in Steel City. But we’re sure you can handle it! We wouldn’t have sent you here otherwise. Oh, you might want to look into this strange dreariness that seems to be settling in on people around Core City. It’s like they’ve lost all life. But it’s probably nothing more than a spout of Monday blues. You’re certainly going to have your hands full dealing with everything else. You’re a Titan; you’re life is going to be very interesting from now on. Good luck! Teen Titans GO!

Northfort: home to the Titans North located on the north side of town. They had really gone to town with this ‘north’ thing. Aaron supposed they were lucky they weren’t in North City as well, but really…Of course, Northfort had come with the name. As a military fort, the only change the Titans had made to it was to renovate and make it inhabitable. The main building had been expanded and added to, building it up to include the iconic ‘T’ shape jutting from the top. The wide base of the fort was invisible behind the old fort walls so from a distance, all anyone could see was the ‘T’ rising to the sky. A mix of old and new and definitely impressive. Even the walls, though retaining their aged look, had been fixed up. Cyborg had done an excellent job and now it would be Aaron’s job to keep it up. Well, one of his jobs at any rate.
The front door slid shut behind Aaron as he stepped into the large hall. Though the outside of Northfort maintained its old appearance, the interior was anything but. Everything was top of the line in electronics and appearance. He let out a low whistle as he looked around. Aaron had had his junk sent on ahead so it was his first time seeing Northfort. “Don’t hold back, man, do you?” he murmured to himself, a smile hovering on his face. Of course Cyborg didn’t. Aaron had seen a blueprint of the place and knew theoretically where everything was located, but he was itching to go exploring anyways, to see everything in person. Aaron turned on his heels to look at the massive clock which hung over the front door.
A few minutes before ten. Awesome. He was a little early. The other Titans, his new teammates, wouldn’t be showing up until ten at the earliest. Or maybe not until the evening. They were just told to show up today at ten at the earliest. So some might come in at dinner; Aaron had no idea. He wasn’t too fussed honestly. Whenever everyone wanted to appear was fine with him. For the day, Aaron was dressed utterly normal. With faded jeans, a green shirt and a light windbreaker, he looked indistinguishable from a normal teen down at the mall. The only bit which stood out was Aaron’s shoes, which were positively massive boots. The jeans covered them, but they went all the way up to his knees in length. Surprisingly enough, he walked pretty quiet even with the thick soul-crushers of shoes.
Aaron had made it halfway down the hallway, thinking he would check out the living room first, when the door banged suddenly. He looked around as it banged again then again. It suddenly clicked that someone was knocking. Or else throwing boulders at the door. It was hard to tell. He decided to go with knocking. The clock overhead said precisely ten. Aaron pressed a button on the wall to open the door.
“Holy shi-!” he yelped as he jumped back.
Outside the door, Anubis didn’t move, merely stared as the other boy yelled and leapt away. He blinked behind his jackal helmet and tilted his head slightly. A glance over his shoulder showed there was no danger around and the hallway was otherwise empty. The only thing which could have caused such a reaction, Anubis guessed, was his own appearance. With his helmet, Anubis was dressed in his normal clothing of loose white pants and sash, sandals on his feet and claw gloves covering his hands. The metal gloves were partially what had caused the loud banging when he had been knocking. Per usual, his chest was bare. The day was warm enough that he hadn’t needed to wrap up. Uncertainly, Anubis stood there, silent, staring at Aaron. Was he supposed to apologize? React defensively? Thank him? Anubis took the safe option which was complete silence.
Meanwhile, Aaron recovered from the shock of being greeted by a tall guy in a fearsome helmet like a dog’s. He had to tilt his head back a little to look up at the other’s face….or well where he thought his face was. He ended up staring at the jackal’s carved features. “Uhhh, hi?” he said slowly.
Anubis relaxed a little, relieved the other boy had spoken first and taken the pressure away from him. “Hello,” he spoke in a crisp, deep voice. He stood quite still and stiff, back ramrod straight. “I’m Anubis. I’m here to join Titans North.” Anubis recognized the boy now, though he wasn’t wearing the same clothes from the picture he had been shown: Raze. He had run with Titans East for a while, but had been retired for a year. Anubis took another look over Aaron. He didn’t look impressive, but Anubis wouldn’t judge by looks. He knew too many people who packed more power than their appearance would suggest.
“Oh..oh yeah,” Aaron answered. He recognized the name but he hadn’t realized it would be so literal. “Uh, why don’t you come in?” Anubis was still standing just outside the door. He hadn’t so much as twitched. It was rather weird. Now, Anubis nodded and stepped smartly over the threshold to pause against on the other side of the door. It slid shut behind him. “I’m Aaron…” Aaron added. Anubis lined up the name in his mind. Did he prefer to go by Aaron or Raze? He decided he would go with ‘Aaron’ as that’s how the boy had introduced himself. Anubis nodded.
“No one else has arrived yet,” Aaron continued. “We’re the first.”
The very edges of Anubis’ mouth twitched slightly like he was about to frown. It was ten o’clock. Actually, just after now. His internal clock was impeccable. Anubis didn’t even need to look at the one hanging on the wall. They weren’t supposed to arrive before ten, which Anubis had translated to mean ‘be there on ten.’ He did not like tardiness. However, he did not believe it was his position to tell off others nor would he complain. They would all be here eventually. Anubis was positive of that. Why wouldn’t they be? This was the Titans after all…
Aaron waited a beat to see if Anubis would say anything, but he remained silent. “Want to go look around then?” he offered, wondering if this guy was shy. It was hard to think of a guy in a jackal helmet as being shy, but maybe…He couldn’t think of anything else to do. And he still wanted to look around anyways.
“All right,” Anubis agreed with a short nod. He knew Aaron was not the leader, but he had no trouble accepting his suggestion. It was a good one. He would need to know what Northfort looked liked, so why not start now. Anubis glanced back to the door. The others would be showing up. Hopefully, they would be able to get the door open. Anubis hadn’t been able to figure it out, hence the knocking. Aaron had already started off down the hall, however, and Anubis followed, walking with measured strides which kept him behind the other.

The day had come: Northfort, the newest branch of the Titans, was completed and ready for the team to move in and take control of Titans North. Aylin couldn't say whether or not she'd been waiting her entire life for the day to come, but since she had initially been accepted onto their team, she'd certainly had something to look forward to. Up until today, she had been living with relatives (who knew nothing of her abilities) - and as far as her parents knew, she was at a private boarding school.
Yeah, right.
Her bi-colored eyes gazed up at the tower as she approached it; it seemed to loom over her head. Shaking her head gently, Aylin continued on her way towards the door as she checked her watch. 10:30. Okay, so she was a bit late. Certainly not the last to arrive, she hoped, as she pressed her hand to the door.
Compared to the structure of the building, the interior of the tower seemed less... overwhelming, at least in terms of size. She could already mark several corridors leading away from the entrance, and as she turned her head from side to side, a small sigh of exasperation managed to escape her lips. Was there a map around? No. Could this be a test of her abilities? Possibly. Aylin had managed to find her way around mazes before by using her telekinesis, but each time she did so, it left her feeling dizzy and light-headed.
What else could she do? Just as she had set her bags down she quickly gathered them up, her green hair brushing over her eyes when she heard voices echoing throughout the tower. Were some of the others there already? Knowing that her luggage would drag her down, she 'picked' them up; a light glow formed around the heavier items, and they followed her down the hallway as a normal person would in a single-file line.
"Hello?" Her voice echoed uncertainly throughout the building, and each time she paused, the further away the others seemed to get. Aylin eventually managed to find her way to the center of the tower; it looked like a high-tech control room, with the exception of their being couches, TVs, and a large kitchen. Setting her things down by the couch - she would find her room later - she decided to use another means to try and communicate with the others. "Is there anyone here, inside the tower?" Her voice, as quiet as a whisper, echoed through the pair's mind, and she squeezed her eyes shut so she could concentrate. "I'm in the main room, and -" Her eyes opened again, only to see that she had managed to levitate various things around the room - all which came crashing down along with herself. Oww... Aylin cursed herself quietly as she stood up, slowly, rubbing her neck as she set to re-arranging the mess she had made of the main room.

Morning. Of all things that she was, Alyssa was most definitely not a morning person. Sure, she probably should’ve gone straight to sleep last night instead of sitting on the roof and staring at the stars, but still…a couple of hours shouldn’t have made it this painful to pull herself out of bed. Of course, the young mage had been up for hours now; she’d been traveling from Jump City and she had already reached her new home of Core City. She thought that she was ready for her first interactions with this new team, but at the same time, Aqua almost didn’t want to meet them—she kind of liked having their names and her preconceptions of them all ambiguous and floating around in her mind. What if one of them was an idiot, or what if she didn’t get along with any of them? It wouldn’t really matter, of course. She was still their leader, and she would still have to make it work.
Aqua supposed that she didn’t really look like a leader, not when she was dressed in shorts and a pair of layered tank tops and dark lace up boots stopping halfway between her ankles and her knees. Her hair generally hung around her head in a sort of wavy mess, but the girl had pulled it to the side and twisted the green to blue locks into a loose braid. Ah, the glorious effects that magic had on her body. When she had been a child, her hair had been a bright, brassy color; her mother certainly would’ve been shocked to see what had become of her precious little redhead. If she had bothered to stick around, of course. She tightened the black ribbon at the end of the braid and looked up.
She stood near the base of the tower—she knew that while she had been shadowing Robin, Cyborg had been here, rebuilding and outfitting the building to suit the needs of the new team. It looked like he’d done a good job, at least from the outside. She was probably a little later than she should have been, but Aqua doubted that she was the last to arrive. They weren’t supposed to be there until ten at the earliest, and it was only what—10:30?
Entering through the door at the base—she’d already been informed of how to gain entrance—Aqua wandered through the lower levels, simply taking stock of where everything was. Why they needed this much space was beyond her, but she supposed it wouldn’t be a bad thing when everyone inevitably wanted some alone time. At least they wouldn’t all be right on top of each other. Again, she could only hope that everyone would get along well enough to make her job as leader that much easier.
A whispery voice echoed through the area, and it took Aqua a moment to realize that the voice had been in her head. Ah. That must’ve been the telepath girl. Aylin. Celeste. The one who seemed to be the most inexperienced of the new team, judging on the information she’d been given.
That was fine. Experience wasn’t everything.
Aqua ascended towards the center of the tower, taking the wrong corridor once or twice before finally reaching the communal living area. She wondered if any of the others were a capable cook, since she certainly wasn’t. It would be a shame if everyone was as terrible at it as she was…
“Good morning,” Aqua said, tilting her head to the side and watching Aylin rearranging the living area. She noticed that some things were a little out of place and let out a small sigh. “Having trouble already?”

A female walked down the street with a long coat and parasol. She looked up and down and all around. She had hoped she was going the right way. The girl could see a giant T in the distance. All she knew was she needed to go towards it. It was called North Fort. It was the new Titan tower. She couldn't wait to meet her new teammates, and become best friends with all of them!
Once on the edge of the city she jumped into the air and took flight, leaving behind the coat and parasol. Her skin glimmered in the sunlight as she flew towards the tower. It was a bit of a fly, but boy did it feel good! Never on her planet was she able to fully fly. It was a wonderful experience. A trail of sparkling dust trailed behind her as she twirled in the air.
At last she was close enough to see the detail of her new home. Things looked new and old, fresh and rusty. Stardust smiled to herself as she soared up to the top of the tower. She hovered over the building, taking in the whole site. The new Titan panned around to get a better look. It was a marvelous structure, and so different!
Carefully, the girl landed on the ground and stood in front of the giant door. She didn't know if she was on time or not. She couldn't even tell time. Stardust just sort of winged it. She put her hand to the door and knocked so daintily it could hardly be heard. She knocked again, only a little louder. And then..."Hello! I am ready to be on your team and serve the Titans to the best of my ability!" She called from the opposite side.
She noticed a camera above the door looking at her. She hovered a little and looked at the camera, her golden eyeball taking up the whole lens. "Hello?" She questioned. "This must be their all seeing eye," she said to herself as she poked the camera.
The door slid open. Satisfied, Stardust walked in with a smile. "Oooh, so pretty!" She exclaimed. Everything looked so massive. She oogled at each and every single thing as she walked through. By some miracle she managed to make her way to the main room where two of her teammates were. The one with green hair was moving things around and the one with blue hair had just gotten done speaking.
Stardust walked a little closer. "Hello," she greeted with a smile. Her violet hair cascaded around and over her shoulders and almost seemed to move on it's own. Each wave and curl seemed to join with the other. She looked between the two, "I'm Stardust, it's nice to meet you both." The girl gave them the best of her smiles she could.
OOC: xD such a bad post...ahahaha.
