"Sickly grinning downward, tossing out a pair of dice
Cheating away around the board "Ah this is paradise"
Kervel walked into the pokemon center, carrying her Chatot and two Pokeballs. Her Gengar and Piplup followed closely at her heels. She walked up to Nurse Joy. "Excuse me, miss."
"Yes? How may I help you today, Kervel?" He nurse asked pleasantly. The girl always came to visit since she lived there and honestly, who could forget her. What, with her adorable yet unusual appearance and all.
"Well, you see, a friend and I had a friendly battle and all. So a simple healing of his and my beat up Pokemon is in order,"Kervel replied. Nurse Joy gingerly took the sleeping Gill in her arms and held the two Pokeballs with her hands.
"No problem, dear," She replied. Kervel went to sit down as Nurse Joy carted her three loads to the back for a healing. Kervel sat down with her two Pokemon at her feet, waiting. After a few minutes, the door opened again and Two people and a Pokemon walked in. She reconized the three instantly.
"Jessie, James, Meowth!" Kervel called out to them. "What ARE you three DOING here? I thought I told you to wait for me in the Sinnoh region till I returned."
"Well, we were going too..." Jessie began.
"But we got BORED," James finished.
"Without the tweirps around to chase after, It gets borin' watin'," Meowth replied. Kervel rolled her eyes.
"You guys may have quit Team Rocket, but you're still annoying as hell," Kervel replied, but she had a slight smile and her tail was wagging. "So did you gather any more information on Team Solstice's plans for me?"
"We did find out one thing," Jessie replied in a hushed voice as they all leaned in to tether so they could talk in whispers.
"Shoot," Kervel replied.
"It seems that somehow, Kyurem broke free of Enel's control and escaped," James replied.
"Hm... That's good news," Kervel replied, looking thoughtful. "Maybe he'll warn the other legendaries about their hunt for them. Any word on any of the legendary Pokemon's current locations?"
"No clue," Meowth replied. "We lost track of the Tweirps too. We were just gonna trail them since they come in contact with more legendaries than most people in their entire lifetimes, but we just can't seem to find 'em."
"Hm... That IS bad. If Team Solstice starts trailing them I want to know about it..." Nurse Joy then came back with the three Pokemon completely healed. Muhyo tugged on Kervel's hand to let her know. She looked up and saw Nurse joy with the Pokemon and nodded, smiling. She then looked back at her three friends-slash-spies. "Search the Unova region and then Kanto and Johto. Who knows, Ash may have headed back for home. Better to be safe than sorry though, right? And if you see ANY suspicious movement from Solstice or Enel, let me know." The three saluted her and she salutted them back. "Until next time, friends." They all grinned at her and left the center. They loved working for her. She not only paid them good money and let them stay in her home if they needed a place to crash, but she also considered them as friends and had saved them from Giovanni's wrath when they finally had the guts to tell him they quit. She was a good. Kid. After they were gone, Kervel walked up to Nurse Joy. Gill cooed happily when he was picked up and cuddled by his trainer. He felt good as new. Kervel then let him perch on her shoulder as she took the Pokeballs. "Thank you very much, miss."
"No problem. I hope you have a pleasant day," Joy replied. Kervel smiled and nodded.
"Same to you, miss," She said. Then she ran out the door. She had kept the other three waiting long enough.
