xoxoKim was lucky. In fact, his younger siblings and he were incredibly lucky to have been born in the U.S. and not Vietnam. His older sisters, not so much, but hey, this was his story here. They didn’t matter. What mattered was that Kim didn’t have to go through the same hardships as a majority of his family did. That being said, it also meant that he was a tad spoiled. What else can he say? His parents loved him best ah, the perks of being a dude, and the whole family knew that. While he didn’t need to lift a finger to please his parents, his sisters did he mention that he had seven of them? had to work for it.
xoxoThat was the benefit that came with being the favorite, but don’t get him wrong. It wasn’t like he hated his sisters it was more of the things they did or anything. It was more pity than anything else, but hey, that was their business. It wasn’t like Kim could be there 24/7 for them. His sisters did help influence him though he learned to have a backbone unlike them, so he tried to return the favor. It wasn’t the best of ideas since it certainly chipped a crack into their relationship. He was just glad that some of them were still on speaking terms.
xoxoAnd so, Kim flipped a table metaphorically of course and stopped giving a s**t after that. Everything was going to be about him from now on, and that definitely showed when he ignored her parents’ wishes being a doctor or a lawyer wasn’t her thing and joined a gang. Actually, it was more like the mafia, but whatever it was, it made his parents disown him. It turned out to be a little bit messier than he thought it’d be. He didn’t appreciate the fact that he kept breaking nails in his line of work. However, his crew didn’t let him go so easily, and so, Kim was forced to escape to a tiny island and go undercover as a maid.
