Ashleigh sat in her cheerleading uniform after practice playing on the playground. Her brother's had summer football camp, but it ran later that her cheerleading camp so her mother had allowed her to go to the playground with the promise she wouldn't run off.

Of course she wouldn't run off, she was still a bit freaked from what happened to the carnival and her parents had taken all of their children for counseling, which only helped so much. She was still having nightmares and bed hopping, but things were getting better. The normality of everyday life was slowly comforting the young girl.

Ashleigh sat on the swing, back up until she was on her tippy toes to push the swing back before letting go and pumping her legs to get the swing going at a faster speed. She grinned as the swing went higher and higher, making her wish she could fly, as most children often wish when they were soaring on the swings. Higher and Higher she went before she thought she was just high enough and jumped.

Ashleigh let out a silly shriek of excitement as she soared through the air and landed several feet away, falling down and lying on the ground laughing to herself. That had to be the best part about coming to the playground. Jumping off the swings.
