My face is reflected in the water...
It's a shining grin full of hope... I think it's certainly interesting. The community, as of now, is pretty nice, and the offers it has are certainly pretty tempting.
If you don't know what it is: Club Verge is a restricted Guild/Shop of which is limited only to those who have spent 9,999 GaiaCash in the past year, proving them to be a "dedicated" and "loyal" member.
Its shop offers things such as customized SDPlus dolls, its own personal "monthly collectibles", and more. The Guild is simply a community where every member of Club Verge is able to be in one collective place- events are already taking place, and there's simply quite a bit going on in there.
What do you all think of it- whether you already knew of its existence, and perhaps are already a member, or you just found out about the likes of it, I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts. ... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...

I don't mind the idea...but i don't know what they are doing with their criteria...
I have seen quite a few people get in who don't actually use GC xD

Spending real money on pixels...pshhh I heard from a friend their bundle was ridiculously priced, honestly I'm not sure.
I'd much rather buy skins on LoL so my characters can look more awesome. ^^

It's a shining grin full of hope... The last' that I checked, the criteria was that a user had to have spent 9,999 GaiaCash in the past year. Granted, there may have been a few mistakes in the invitation process. ... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...

Eh, I don't know of many sites/games that won't in some way, cater to it's big/bigger spenders.
So, this is no surprise. I just wish that Gaia wouldn't make everything secret about it. (I get the Guild being hidden, fine), but the shop for it? I'd think masses of people viewing the store might motivate more to buy into this club.
"Hiding" all this, just pisses people off. It sort of pisses me off too.

How is spending money for pixels loyal? How does it make a person dedicated? To me, that indicates a person with too much money and not enough life

I didn't SPEND Real money of 99.99 to spend 9999 gaia cash to get into the guild, but I did spend 9999 gaia cash. I watched a heck of a lot of videos and did some of the free tasks to get mine. That's how I got a lot of my gaia cash. The guild is just another guild. And you don't accept or decline membership, you are automatically accepted.
I don't like the prices of the guild only shop though. It's far too expensive. I am sorry but 50000 for any item is way too much. I cannot imagine anyone spending 500.00 real cash for any pixel items.

It's a shining grin full of hope... It was simply that you spent 9,999 GaiaCash- the method of gaining it wasn't in the criteria. Just the same, you could fund up to 500 USD in GaiaCash through offers, so it's considered to be all the same general concept.
Nonetheless, I suppose the numbers are a bit Farfetch'd, however, it's what Gaia decided to do. Perhaps it's appealing to some, and others not, but that's simply how it's been done. There's always the MarketPlace, however, for those who would rather spend Gold on the items. ... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...

It's a shining grin full of hope... It's a matter of opinion, really. That's simply how such generalities work in large communities: some will like an idea, while others will not.
And, it makes a person dedicated in the sense that they're assisting in funding the operation, I would assume. Perhaps their total time online hardly matches that of others, but the fact that they're helping fund is an assistance, and the fact that they've essentially paid 100 USD to the company could be considered dedicated. Either way, as I previously stated, this GaiaCash need not be paid through with physical money, however it's also able to be obtained through such otherwise offers, videos, and et cetera which makes it so that it's not necessary that the sole way of obtaining said items is through paying out of one's own pocket. Despite the numbers being high [and yes, as with many, I could agree that they might be lowered], I find that the entirety of the operation is rather fair.
These are simply my thoughts on the matter, though. ... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...

Perhaps it's not the best form of advertisement for the purpose, nor the greatest motivation for others, but it's simply how it is for the time being. It's still rather new, so such things might be implemented- it all really depends.
Also, I'm not sure if this is a viable option [as I've yet to try it, myself], though I would assume that by entering "Club Verge" into the MarketPlace query, one would be given the items with such tags, if they're provided. ... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...
