❀Avery & Maka❀

Ooc: This is my second time writing this so it won't be as interesting... I was so sad when Gaia quit on me RIGHT before I posted it... Also this was done on my mother's tablet so I can only do the simple colors of olive and green.
Avery stepped into the unknown town, the connection in the mark in her hand growing ever so strong. She searched the crowd for what might call out to her with no such luck. Her stomach grumbled, people passed by carrying different fruits and vegetables. 'I forgot to eat...' Avery thought. She held a hand up to her stomach to see the dark green mark printed on it.
The human was getting closer... Maka could feel it. He had already changed to a child's form when the sun was at midday. His eyes searched the crowd, the partners getting ever so closer.
An alluring smell hit Avery's nose, the smell of fresh field grass being cut, and the smell of newly morning dew. The source of this feeling was so close it was mind boggling. Avery's eyes searched the crowd, she sighed, looking up. 'This is getting nowhere...'
The young boy let out a long sigh as well. Oh, his tamashi Meiji was looking for him, but she had neglecting to look down..."Young Meiji, would you be so kind as to look down?"
The sound of a sweet voice brought Avery's mind back to reality. Following the boy's instructions, she looked down and saw... An incredibly ADORABLE boy looking up at her. Not only was he adorable, oh no, she could also sense that all of her feelings of the connection were emulating from him, giving her even more of a reason to pull him into a bear hug. "You're SO CUTE~!!!!"
Maka really didn't expect this, "Y-Yes... That is a very nice gesture, Young Meiji. Now, what is your name?"
"Oh!" Avery let the small boy down gently, "I'm Avery~ And did you know that you smell AMAZING~?"
"Um, well... Yes, indeed I do. If you would be so kind will you join me soon at the central temple? I will explain all of this and who I am there, all you need to get in-" Maka took Avery's hand into his smaller one, "is this." He gave her hand a squeeze, "Until then, Youn- Avery." With that, Maka disappeared into the crowd.
Avery was left with all this to ponder, but all she could think was, '...what....?"
