It did seem kinda stupid, this whole ‘getting a new wardrobe when changing your life’ kind of thing…but in a way, it made sense as well! That was why Hel was at the Maul to do some clothes shopping, as much as she usually detested it…but there were other perks to being at the Maul…LIKE THE FOOD COURT!
First stop, always!
The reaper was in the mood for a triple bacon cheeseburger, and she knew right where to get one: Pumpkin King. As she made her way towards it, she couldn’t help but catch sight of a familiar back side…
Well…it had been naked at the time, but really, who could forget that hair?
Grinning, Hel quieted her steps, and quickly closed the distance between herself and the Hairwolf. She then grabbed his tail.
“MIKEY!”

Mikey was a typical boil and that meant his appetite surpassed what was considered ordinary and as Pumpkin King never failed to satisfy, he stood in line as the cashier piled his order onto a tray. Something, or someone rather, tugged on his tail and his ears flicked backward at the jovial voice calling his name. Turning around, he grinned around the foil-wrapped hamburger in his mouth at the ghoul that greeted him. “’Ey there, prebby laby,” he answered cheerfully, tail wagging. He shifted tray containing several more burgers under his arm, and dropped the one on his mouth onto it. “Hungry?” he asked, nudging her with the tray and nodding towards a table. “I’ve got plenty.”

Hel let go of the boil’s tail as he turned around, and she grinned widely up at him before she looked down at his tray. Holy Candlejack! The reaper brought up a hand to her chest. “A boil after my own heart!” She feigned swooned. The ghoul looked surprised briefly before she was grinning oh so widely once more. “Jack yeah! You are too kind, friend!” She announced, and back peddled out into the seating area of the food court. The ghoul pulled out a chair and immediately flopped into it, rocking on it excitedly. “I hope you have a triple bacon cheeseburger in there.” She then laughed. “What brings you to the Maul today?”

He followed her to the seating area, flopping into his chair in much the same way, the food tray wobbling dangerously on the table as he set it down. Carefully he straightened it out, so not to have to go through the travesty of losing a precious burger. The werewolf grabbed the one that had previously occupied his mouth, before pushing the tray the ghoul’s way. “Have a looksy, babe, pretty sure I got one of everything. How could you not, am I right? Fooooooood,” he sighed happily, practically drooling as he unwrapped the loaded burger from its foiled package. Pausing at her question, he looked up, then shrugged. “Maul’s a good hangout, y’know. Lots of creeps, lots of things to do. Good tunes and good food, what’s not to like? How about you missy, was the sweet smell of bacon just calling your name? Or maybe you had some less delicious business… No judgement, babe, I love clothes as much as any ghoul.” He grinned, then dove into his burger while he listened for her answer.

Well, at that invitation, Hel didn't falter. With a matching grin as the tray was pushed towards her she started to unwrap burgers and inspect them before wrapping them back up. She wanted one in particular. One that consisted of bacon goodness. "Ha! Fair enough, friend." The reaper replied. That was reason enough really. Hel snorted at his words about clothes. "We'll, ya, I am here for the bacon...but I am here for clothes as well." She stuck her tongue out at him, wrapping up another burger that didn't fit the bill. "I rarely come here for clothes though, as I am NOT your typical ghoul. I just happened to outgrow a lot of my clothes and I am in need of new ones." She puffed out her chest to prove her point of 'growing' and then made a 'whoop' sound of victory when she finally found a burger that was triple pattied and loaded with bacon. " I like you." Hel then took a big bite and hummed her approval."

“Mmm, I can see that,” he grinned between mouthfuls, casually admiring her chest. She made no motion of hiding it, and neither did he. A fine rack was a fine rack, indeed. “Definitely not typical at all.” He slurped of the last bite of his burger, licking his fingers in delight. Delicious, on all accounts. The boil reached for another, eyeing the one she’d picked up. “I like you too,” he laughed, watching with admiration as she took a bite of one of the largest burgers on the menu. “Excellent choice, dudette, that burger’s the bomb.” Yep, he definitely liked this one. “If you only rarely come here for clothes, there is something wrong with the way you shop, love. You gotta make it an experience,” he continued, waving his burger for emphasis. “You just wait, pretty lady, we’re gonna shop the hell outta the Maul today. And you’re gonna love it.”

Hel just grinned around mouth fulls of bacon goodness, though she slowed at one point and then stopped. She then stared at Mikey like he had suddenly gone bald. "Wait, wait..." She started, one hand leaving the burger to wave her hand a bit. "You think you can get me to love clothes shopping?" That sounded like a challenge... Hel loved challenges.
