Bergrisók Rest is the name given to four individual locations along the Lands of Occulas. Bergrisók, the great walking mountain moves along our mountain stretches during different times of the year to inspect its mountains.

Summer's Rest - In the north of Occulas in the mountain range of the New Moutains within New Coventry.
Autumn's Rest - The eastern edge of the Aerie Peaks.
Winter's Rest - South of the triumphant Falls of Lenticularis, beside a lone mountain.
Spring's Rest - Between the eastern range and great body of Iríngod Spires on it's west, found east of Entei.

Where Bergrisók walks it apparent that it leaves no tracks as the ground below it shifts back to shape behind it's strides. Bergrisók usually rests for one months at each location. You may ask if the great mountain travels back to Summer's Rest, however, at Spring's Rest it stays. On the first sunlight of Summer the mountain turns to ordinary stone as Bergrisók (appears) walks from the New Mountains once again. Whenever Bergrisók is not resting at Spring's Rest, Stone Giants erupt from it's husk. Small Earthquakes around the New Mountains give birth to the new mountain of which Bergrisók will emerge from next each year.

Seems like just yesterday
You were a part of me
I used to stand so tall
I used to be so strong
Your arms around me tight
Everything, it felt so right
Unbreakable, like nothin' could go wrong
Now I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hanging on

Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one
Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these opened eyes

((firstly, sorry i said Belfagoth! I was thinking of a location in my other guild! I meant Bergrisok!!! hahaha))

At the bottom of the inside of the Aerie Peaks, it was wet, sometimes muddy, but mainly rocky with small streams running through. Dead bushes dotting the area, the occasional dead tree. But nearby the giant stone steps of the Moving Mountain could be heard getting closer. "I can't believe we're actually seeing it" she then said to her friend, for now. Staring up they were close enough that it towered above them, but far enough away not to be in any danger. "Bergrisók... it's not known how it came to be, or what it's purpose is. But we do know one thing. It's not hostile, and never will be". She then wiped her forehead as she brushed her long dark hair behind her in the breeze that crept down the mountainside. "What i'm looking for is inside, but we should wait for it to rest before we do that. And it should be doing that in just an hour, right beside where we're standing as of this moment." she looked over to him. "And then we can claim our prize and leave"

She still hadn't divulged any information about the Emerald Jewel, and according to her data the jewel had re-awakened, revitalized, anew with its powers. All of Merlin's efforts to nullify and drain all the jewels of their power seemed to e wasted if it were true. But still.. he didn't have to know it was a jewel, did he? And he would have the fun of helping her getting it, it's not the mountain they have to be afraid of. Its the goblins that are apparently absentmindedly keeping it for themselves and travelling with Bergrisók as an easier means of travelling to the south. Sure, she could kill them fast, but she needed the skill of Aaron to do it efficiently.

Swallow me then spit me out
For loving you, I blame myself
Seeing you it kills me now
No, I don't cry on the outside
Anymore...
Anymore...

I told you everything
Opened up and let you in
You made me feel alright
For once in my life
Now all that's left of me
Is what I really want to be
So together, but so broken up inside
'Cause I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hangin' on

"It's amazing," Aaron said in awe, his eyes trained solely on the slowly moving mountain. His attention swept over their barren surroundings for a moment before being drawn back to the mountain like a magnet. He nodded absentmindedly, plopping down in the slightly damp ground without a care in the world, allowing his trench coat to drag in the mud. Honestly, he couldn't care about the state of his clothing, it had been subjected to a lot worse. When Leah mentioned the goal, Aaron looked up with a hint of interest.

"Anything I ought to know or is it all hush hush, top secret?" he asked, eyes wandering from her face to stare at the sky. He didn't really care if it was a secret and that he couldn't know, his curiosity was strictly for the monsters he hunted. Society and human secrets generally bored him and with his job, he usually was kept in the dark. All he really wanted to know was what would keep him from dying and objects generally didn't do that. "Traps, death curses, you know that sort of thing," he commented, looking at Leah from the corner of his eyes.

He had his own secrets anyways.

Even Aaron found the view magnificent. Leah found it hard not to keep staring, but what she wanted was right before her now, and she couldn't let it pass. Her heart beat seemed to raise though at the thought of divulging info to Aaron. But then he spoke about creatures, she sighed and her wide dark eyes admitted " I forgot to mention the horde of goblins calling that mountain their home. And they worship that jewel like a god" she chuckled mildly. She seemed completely oblivious she even mentioned the jewel, she was just now intent on the goal, she was finally here. And with it... oh the things she could do. It wasn't out of evil, it was vengeance, she just wanted to find that no good husband of hers and tell him exactly how she feels after he betrayed her. Either way, she only felt after that she would be happy, and that jewel was the key.

she continued to stare off before her, thinking of the jewel with a concentrated expression she stood proudly.

He listened to Leah's words with a careful ear, taking the information and filing it away for later if it became pertinent. Goblins were important though and he pondered the little imps that he remembered from previous quests. Weighing the goblins against the troll they had just fought, he decided that perhaps the troll might be preferable if the head goblin was smart enough. "Here's what I know," he began, brow furrowing as he tried to remember.

"Goblins alone are easy, its when they get into groups that you need to worry. They have this weird hive mentality thing and if their leader is amongst them...well we'll have more to worry about," he finished with a frown and a sigh. If they were protecting something, well that might make it easier, depending on the tribe of goblins. If what Leah said was true...Aaron chewed on the side of his cheek as he considered a plan.

"Have a decoy of some sort? We could distract them with that and snag the jewel while they're distracted, maybe a hologram," he said thoughtfully, nodding to himself. Yes, that could work. His eyes followed the mountain as it drew closer. Maybe there was something in that goblin horde to help him. They horded everything.

She was broken from her concentration when he said the jewel, she then looked at him with a shocked expression but then eased as soon as she remembered she was the one that said it. She went to clasp her hand around he mouth but resisted, he didn't seemed phased by the fact she said she was looking for a jewel, and she'll keep it that way. "A hologram... i can do that, easily" she triggered a small compartment in her armour which had many little spherical gadgets, taking one out with her thumb and finger the compartment closed again. "This will keep a hologram going for several minutes. We can use a few more if you want, make them go crazy" she said, gesturing with the small ball before her. "Then we can track down the jewel and slice and dice through the goblins that get in our way. To get inside we'll have to use some GCN's, Gravitational Clasp Nets. Then if anything else comes up inside i got some other things up my sleeve, all that except a good gun" she then added, gesturing to Aarons'.

An easy going smile spread slowly across Aaron's face. "We've got a plan than," he said with a quiet chuckle, ejoying the odd feeling of being prepared. Usually he was thrown into situations without a chance to pack or plan, getting out by the skin of his teeth and his weapons generally out of ammo. This time though...it would go perfectly. He could just tell. Unless fate decided to mess with him again. In that case, he should just bemoan his fate and hope he wasn't cannibalized.

Hearing about those GC-whatevers, Aaron's brow furrowed. "I'm guessing they make us float or something?" he asked sheepishly with a guileless smile. He was utterly clueless about technology when it came down to it and if it generally had anything beyond a switch that turned it on and off, he didn't use it. Guns were easy. Press a button, get a result. In this case it was generally a dead monster but for these GC things he had no idea what to expect.

Laughing, he looked up at the sky, smirk playing across his face as he took out his gun, getting rid of his normal bullets to replace them with smoke to add to the confusion, having a few flash on standby just in case they needed a quick get away. "Should be easy enough," he commented. Famous last words.

A short time passed and Bergrisók was ever closer, close enough now that the giant footsteps could be heard, they could be felt. Beneath Leah's metallic feet she could feel the vibrations and suddenly she felt very small in comparison. But tightening her grip in her fists she exhaled. "It's time" she said, looking to Aaron as the breeze that was created by Bergrisók's legs passed her hair. They both exchanged looks and they began heading towards Bergrisók, here the land was more level than the mountain edge, but it was still cliffy and filled with boulders. Soon enough they had come beneath the great moving mountain, and eerily the mountain came to a stop as soon as they reached the underneath of it. Then Leah realised "it's taking its final stop before heading through the last mountains to reach Autumn's Rest on the other side" which was beside the Albanoch Desert.

Looking up she pulled out a handful of small orbs, no bigger than his thumb, each of them were tied together with little metallic strings. These were the gadgets mentioned earlier. She threw them upwards and soon enough they flew up and extended into a net where the orbs glowed sky blue. The net then plastered itself to the underside of the mountain, where a cave seemed to begin nearby. With a thumbs up Leah stated "don't panic, but i hope you don't get travel sick" and then she felt gravity begin to turn back on itself, instead of being pulled to the ground she was starting to be pulled upwards towards the moving mountain's underside. Just above him, as he began to lift she looked down and said "Make sure you turn upside down!"

The vibrations under his feet were fearsome, even if he did know the moving mountain range was harmless. It could accidentally step on them, he thought rather morbidly, eyes affixed on the details that were shown in the mountain's close proximity. Aaron took in a deep breath. Ok, it was time. He could feel the adrenaline rushing in him as he stood, bouncing on the balls of his feet. "I'm ready," he muttered, as much to himself as it was for Leah. Now that their mission was so close to getting enacted he could feel the nerves beginning to creep up on him.

He barely saw the tiny GC-whatevers, catching only a quick flash of silver before Leah threw them up to attach to the bottom of the mountain. Before he could get out a response to Leah's cryptic warning, his feet left the ground. Motion sickness wasn't a weakness of his. It wasn't! But holy crap, he needed something under his feet. Floundering for a desperate minute, he barely managed to flip himself to avoid getting his head smashed to pieces by the craggy underside of the mountain. "Oh...my...god," he panted out, slightly disoriented (read: traumatized) by the experience as he blinked at the ground moving beneath him. "Let's get inside," he suggested, darting quickly into the cave.

With her feet firmly standing on the underneath of the mountain, she followed Aaron as he quickly darted for the cave to welcome the familiar, natural gravity. With a single static spark the net pulled itself back together and Leah roped it back to her hand before hiding it away in one of her hidden compartments. "okay" she said, looking down one of the tunnels. There were tunnels everywhere, all dark and twisting, but she had a trick up her sleeve. Throwing another orb it flashed blue and hovered, taking a ride of its own down one of the tunnels as her HALO began registering the tunnel's layout, visible to both of them. "Looks like we follow that tunnel and we'll end up in the heart... there's already a few dozen goblins in there, but on the way we can divert them-" she then noticed an anomaly as the 3d map being created on her HALO suddenly flickered and a spherical area was impossible to gather any information from, and then afterwards the map began being registered again. With astonishment she said "T-that must be the jewel" that was the first she had stuttered since she was a lot younger. That jewel... its power was alive, and it was disrupting anything near it. She had only hoped her Arcaz Tech would still work in there.

Relieved at the return of natural gravity, Aaron let out a sigh, pulling out his gun and bouncing on the balls of his feet. "The goblins shouldn't be a--Something the matter?" he asked when Leah stuttered. In their time working together, he had yet to hear her be anything other than perfectly composed. The jewel again? Aaron stayed silent, unwilling to dig into her reasons and staring into the solid darkness of the tunnel rather than looking at her. Something had obviously startled her. "Will we be able to find a way out if your equipment goes haywire?" he asked.

The tunnels within the mountain seemed to stretch out in a odd sprawl from what he could catch on her screen and it seemed far too easy to get lost in one of them. Maybe some rope if it'd stretch long enough or a marker of some sort though that'd certainly give them away if the stupid goblins got ahold of it.

"I can put down dimly glowing lights, but the closer to the Jewel we get, the less we'll be able to see them, so we'll have to keep our eyes peeled" she said, readying herself up as she slowly began venturing into the cave system. Her armour itself gave out a little amount of light, enough to help her find her footing on dodgy walkways there goblins seem to create. Every now and then she'd slip her foot into the tiny dug-out pathways on the floor where the goblins often walked. She swore under her breath as she slipped again and then said "foul beasts". Then the chittering sound of footsteps came from up the tunnel, a flickering, orange glow accompanying it. It was just round the corner! She pressed herself up against the cave side and listened out carefully. Her HALO system glowed red and showed them the lifeforms ahead, the next tunnel had about 15 goblins venturing through, slowly and not leaving either. She then looked at her hologram orbs but she only had a couple, not worth using here on a small group of goblins... she then looked up to Aaron and nodded. They both had to get this done quickly, and then after they finished slaying, use a hologram orb to send the other, following goblins off their scent!

"That'll probably work," Aaron commented as he glanced over at the glowing lights, his hand on the holster for his gun, eyes looking around in the dim lighting. He barely picked up on Leah's quiet curse as her HALO system warned them of an upcoming adversary. Shutting his eyes, he listened for the shuffling of feet and some grunting which always accompanied a group of goblins. They were never quiet.

He could hear the echoes of such movement and he let his eyes open once more, allowing himself to get used to the dark before they attacked. Pulling his gun out, Aaron screwed on a silencer, remembering what bullets he had placed in the barrel of his gun and considered on switching them before deciding against it. Smiling at the thrill of adrenaline in his veins, he whispered to Leah, "I'll be the decoy, close your eyes." And he threw himself before the goblins, aiming his gun at them and shutting his eyes against the flash of the specialized bullet.

The bullets he currently employed were of interesting sort, meant not for harm but mainly confusion, allowing there to be a sudden flash of light. In this darkness, that would blind them for enough time to slay a good number of them. Ridding himself of the specialized bullets, he rammed in a new set of bullets--normal--and let off a shot to kill one of the fifteen goblins in the restricted space, silencer still in place.

((so sorry tying!))

With his announcement she closed her eyes tight, she didn't want to suffer the affects of blindness during a time like this, especially when they were so close! She could almost feel the presence of the Emerald Jewel nearby! After hearing the dulled explosions of the bullets letting loose she opened her eyes and focused, adrenaline pumping through her body now as she leaped from the side of the cave wall and pulled out her sword from her armour. When she rejoined Aaron, the goblins within were dazed, letting out cries of confusion in their weird tongue. Their skin brown and red, some even showing shades of green. Coming passed Aaron she swiped round with her sword in a very fast, fluent and clean motion as suddenly two of the goblins were beheaded in seconds. She came to a still as she focused around her, her HALO system still in the red to alert her of any threats that could potentially attack her by surprise. Looking back at Aaron, he had loaded his new bullets and it was time. And the goblins were beginning to wake up. She was sure this would be over quickly, and easily.

Soon Leah leapt out as well, sword flashing and immediately beheading two more goblins as they stumbled about blindly. Letting loose two more bullets, each finding their mark, Aaron side stepped a poorly aimed leap from one of the goblins. Yeah they were beginning to regain their sight. It couldn't be too hard though, their ranks were being decimated. Lashing out with the butt of his gun, he knocked one out, wanting to reserve his bullets. Never know when he might run out.

"Let's finish this quickly," he grunted, taking out two more who were getting too close for comfort and using the final bullets in his gun. Snagging another cartridge, he released the empty one and jammed the new one in, locking and loading for another six shots. Taking in a deep breath, he squinted into the murky darkness of the tunnels (he really needed to learn the charm for night vision), adrenaline pumping through him as he tensed. Where were those little monsters?
