This RP is between KiiNiku's "Badgey" and She-Ra of Etheria's "Kalioky." Please do not post unless you were invited. It had been a late morning for Badgey. Okay, well, it was actually late afternoon. After having been asleep for what seemed like days, Badgey was ready to take on whatever came his way. The air smelled of fresh grass and blossoming flowers, the perfect aroma to make his mouth water. Just taking a wiff of the air made him happy. With a sigh he trotted along, a smile on his face. A sly, mischievous smile, but a smile nonetheless.
As he trotted along the grassy plains he couldn't help but notice the other Soquili that resided there. Of course he avoided them. They'd pick on him for his size, and even though he'd laugh along with them hoping to throw them off from their bullying, he couldn't help but feel a little sting inside. The Soquili in particular that picked on him when he was a colt weren't there, but that still didn't take away the sting. What was the big deal? He wasn't any different than them besides in size. It made him want to run away and never come back, but that wasn't an option. This was home, after all.
He shook his head free of the memory. He had done a good job burying it and he knew that was why he behaved the way he did today, but it didn't matter. He was just there to live and survive, to be able to enjoy the day and keep living his life the way he wants. So he held his head high after that, a determined expression crossing his face.
Badgey came to the edge of a clearing in the plains where there was enough open space to go at a full gallop without wondering if he'd run into another Usdia without realizing it. It would be the perfect way to get his day started.

Kalioky was not entirely pleased to be out today. It was too sunny, too warm, too filled with obnoxious life. Oh yes, her time so far with Pirata and the mares army had certainly influenced Kalioky's outlook on life, especially her seeing everything in a negative way. But even then she knew how to maintain a look about her that made others say and do things they wouldn't normally. She had taken some pointers from the mare She-Ra on how to play the role of pleasant loving mare even more convincingly and using that to her advantage. After all, everyone trusted the pretty and kind mare who was just looking to find her way to a lost friend. Kalioky had been impressed by the mares ability to draw just about anyone into her trap. She respected her greatly but also found the act disgusting, mostly because the mare did it so darn well and didn't even look like she was trying.
But that was why Kalioky had approached her for lessons to refine her own ways. And now that she had gotten well adjusted to her new life of working with, and partially for, Pirata, she had been given more freedom. Freedom was what she was exploring today. But this freedom also had it's purposes. Much as Kalioky didn't like to serve others she did like Pirata's goals of wiping so many weak pathetic fools from these lands. And so Kalioky had headed out, traveling a fairly good distance from the center of evil, in hopes of gathering some information about lands, herd populations, anything that could help Pirata achieve that goal.
And so she found herself crossing this large meadow, and though she had not spotted anyone around at first glance Kalioky knew that at any time another Soquili could come by, so she tried to look lost, hoping to lure in some sucker and strip every ounce of this areas knowledge from them.

The wind whipped past his face, tossing Badgey's bangs to either side of his ears as his mane flopped with his strides. He felt like he could fly when he ran at a gallop - his speed had greatly improved over time and now he felt like he was faster than almost any other Usdia he'd met. Not to say he was the fastest - he was sure he wasn't.
He took large breaths through his nostrils as he ran, enjoying the wide, open space of the plains as he did. And then he spotted a mare wandering the plains as he neared the edge of the clearing. He slowed himself to a canter before he trotted up to her.
She looked lost, confused. He slowed down to walk in beside her. "Hey, you lost?" He nodded to her, wondering what a mare like her was doing out in the plains on a day like today. He thought for sure he would have been alone as he did his running, but he thought wrong.

Seeing another Usdia coming her way Kalioky mentally congratulated herself on picking the right meadow to visit. Target acquired. And look at that, he instantly turned into the 'help the lost mare mode' that she had hoped to incite from whoever she came across. Some days this was all too easy. But she couldn't let those thoughts distracted her. Instead she focused on the stallion and gave him an awkward smile. "Much as I hate to admit it, I am indeed lost." She did her best to make her tone a bit sheepish, even if she hated sounding so weak and stupid. It was all part of the act, she reminded herself. Kalioky's eyes roamed over the stallion. His markings reminded her of those vicious creatures known as badger's, except for the mark on his rump. And she couldn't figure out what the hell he had around his neck. But that accessory didn't matter. She had her target and now it was a matter of acting sweet and innocent until she learned everything she could about this area.
"I don't suppose you live around here? Or know the land well enough to help me?" If he didn't know the land this would be the quickest conversation that the stallion likely would ever have. She made it a habit of not wasting time with those who couldn't give her something she needed or wanted. In those cases it was best to move on and find a different, preferably more helping, target. But until she knew for sure she would be forced to stand here and play lost mare to this stallion.

Badgey nodded at the mare and took note of her extremely thin, long tail that was characteristic to unicorns. It was rare for him to come across unicorns and minicorns on the plains, and he was actually surprised to meet one here. He wondered what kind of powers she might have, if any, considering she didn't have a horn. She seemed nice enough. Kind of cute.
At her question about whether or not he knew the land, though, he laughed almost mockingly at her. "Of course I know the land. I live here, don't I?" He sounded almost cocky as he held his head up high and took a look around the plains on which he lived. The grasses were long and moist with the rain that had passed by the day before, and the flowers and trees that popped up along them added just enough color and life to make them look like a painting on a teepee or a Soquili's hide.
"If you need a tour, I can give you one. Or help you find your way back to wherever you came from," he said with a shrug of his shoulder. His yellow eyes gleamed with mischief and glee. "Which way did you come from? Do you remember?"
