The Iliriya Clan is a group of some of the most talented of assassin's and mercenaries within the Llewllyn Kingdom, though indeed they are also a group of exiles. Many of them carry noble blood from their former lives in other kingdoms but for some reason or another they became outcasts, either because of their grim work or because of some dark aspect of their past. They follow a fellow exile by the name of Issildia Nevar, who hails from a land not of the Narvinye continent...

They travel the Llewllyn Kingdom doing what they do best...high profile assassinations or perhaps partaking in a recent battle on behalf of the highest paying noble.

The Iliriya Clan, though a clan of assassin's and grim faced warriors, is a clan that has it's own code of honor that dictates the behavior of it's members. Issildia Nevar, their leader made the point very clear during their early days that she would not condone the killing of innocents or the unneeded torture of their targets. Their kills were always silent and swift, and they never took on a "request" without first agreeing on it's terms and who the particular target happened to be.

Though not extremely territorial, the Iliriya Clan is an asset to any who wish to deal with any pesky nobles that happen to be giving them a...difficult time.

Though indeed this is a rather nomadic clan, they do indeed protect and see to it that their small slice of territory is protected at all costs and keep in working condition. When not dealing with a job the Iliriya Clan, normally returns to what they have come to call home, a deserted section of the Llewllyn Kingdom, near the fishing village of Selveus. Since this elite clan is rather small in numbers there are very few family members of the band that Issildia Nevar leads that remain behind at their headquarters on the eastern beaches of Llewllyn's western peninsula. They call their coast bound home "Avarus". A stretch of land that reaches from a few miles off of the Selveus village to the Delphi River delta.

~~Normally the Iliriya remain rather neutral concerning the blood feuds between other clans and they avoid conflict with others as it is not their way to draw focus from their objective by getting wrapped up in their own battles. Though is is well known that their greatest and only tue rivals and allies are the Matanuska. A group of highly trained warriors like themselves.

~The Clan Races~

1. The Azerian
Description--- And Angelic race that holds powers over the elements.

Powers--- Dominion over the seven elements and some empathic abilities. Not to be mistaken for telepathy. Immortality, though these creatures can indeed be slain.


Weaknesses--- Their power wanes with the setting of the sun, and they have a genetic allergy to the venom of either a vampire or lycan that can prove to be fatal.

2. The Celtarie
Description--- A demonic being that holds supreme power over the shadows.

Powers---Shadow manipulation and a firm grasp on the Arcane arts such as Necromancy and alchemy. Immortality, though these creatures can indeed be slain.

Weaknesses---Their Power wanes with the rising of the sun. They also carry a slight genetic allergy to silver much like their vampiric cousins.

3. The Valtera
Description---A shape shifter than can metamorph into any creature that they have ever laid eyes upon.

Powers--- Shape shifting abilities, augmented strength many times that of a human.

Weaknesses---Damaged more easily by elemental based attacks more so than any other being. The Valtera also have a mortal lifespan, that mirrors that of a human.

4. The Nazuren--- Elf like creatures that posses physic abilities, ,their telepathic abilities are rivaled by none.

Powers---Telepathy and Telekinesis. These creatures also posses Immortality, though indeed they can be slain.

Weaknesses--- Not very adapt in battle, making them vulnerable for physical attacks.

5. The Anierians--- The Anierian's are commonly known as the Elementals, for they are born with unparalleled abilities over the elements.

Powers---Anierian's are born with dominion over a single element. They are naturally adapt in manipulating their element making them a force to be reckoned with.

Weaknesses---Though an Immortal race the Anierian's have been hunted to almost the brink of extinction. It is a rare thing to even see one during one's lifespan.

Clan Requirements and Purpose Statement

Requirements---(Applies to you as a member of this guild) First and foremost when it comes to the role playing aspect of the Iliriya Clan, I expect the clan members to be literate and to try and make posts that are at least more than a few sentences in length. All Guild rules apply here including the guidelines of the Gaian TOS.

Other Clans please be aware that the races I have listed are of my own original concepts and are drawn from my Ashen Blade RP. Please do not take credit for their creation, if you wish to use them in your clan then do not imply that you are the one that created them. Thank You.

Clan Purpose Statement---(Applies to your RP character)
The personal aspects that this Clan values most are, intelligence, creativity/cleverness and above all else...that it can never be as simple as good and evil...
Also the Iliriya Clan does not discriminate against other races but most of this clan's number are composed of the races that I have listed above.

Race: Avariera *evolved form of an Anierian Celtarie Halfblood.

Gender: Female

Primary Weapons:
The blade once known as Sumar, when fused with the final shard of a relic called the Denian Key was transformed into Nyththirren a sword that is recognised in both the Anierian and Azerian tongue as Twilight. Though Issildia simply refers to the blade as Nyth.
Secondary Weapons:
Twin Scimitars named Nercista and Lyrista
((Twin scimitars that were once known simply as Sable and Vice, but during Issildia's travels within the various realms the blades were said to be cursed. Now the blade once known a Sable is known as Nercista...A blade of powerful necromancy that is said to be able to separate the spirit from the body with a single cut.
The scimitar once known as Vice is now known as Lyrista. A blade of light and judgment. It is said that while this blade has the ability to reverse the work of it's sister blade Nercista, it can also condemn a soul of the confines of the Realm of the Dead, trapped for all eternity.))
Issildia is also known for using kunai throwing blades for projectile based purposes.
Powers and Talents:
During the many years that Issildia has traveled the Realms, her once seperate celtarie and anierian abilities have managed to find a balance within themselves allowing Issildia to twine the forces of light and darkness into a power unlike any other. Making her powers and abilities rather unique in nature. (More explination in Bio)

Biography: Issildia Nevar who has her own dark past much like the other members of the Iliriya Clan that she leads, is of a different make than her clan members. It has been some centuries since her name has been spoken; whispered upon an acrid breath of fear. For she is one of the last of the Nevar bloodline as well as one of the last of Anierian blood to have once known of her peoples' ancient city, before it was destroyed by her father. In turn for this action against her deceased mother's people, Issildia sought to slay her father...and through many mishaps as well as victories, managed to do so. Though she also took the lives of her two brothers Marcus and Ilderan many years before she dealt her father the same fate. Many others fell by her hands, though always Issildia had her reasons for killing...though it did nothing to aid her in gaining atonement for her sins.
Though it was during a confrontation with the Ryera necromancers and an artifact known as the Denian Key or the Ithelri blade that her life was forever changed. For Denian key was made for a single purpose, to merge the realm of the dead with that of the living, though the blood of one who held within them the forces of light and dark was required to activate the key when it was placed within the seal in the Talnea Forest. Issildia's life force and blood was used to accomplish this...the Ryera sacrificed her to bring about a new world order...and they nearly succeeded. But something happened that the Ryera did not intend, for the Avariera; a race that has not walked this earth for many millennia...the very race that created the Denian Key, also crafted a way for the workings of the Key to be undone. Though only one of Avariera blood could undo what had been done, so as Issildia passed to the realm of the dead...her life taken from her by the Ryera; she was changed, down to her very soul. She became the first Avariera to walk this earth in over a millennia. Thus granting her both the memories of this fallen race as well as their abilities over the divine elements, also because of the Avariera's close link with nature she also gained the ability to shape shift into other creatures.
This secret she guards well and leads near everyone to believe that she is the half blood that she was over two thousand years ago...though all to soon a time will come when such deception will be more a hindrance to her comrades than aid.

"In the years that I have traveled these realms,
my past...my sins never stray far from my thoughts.
Like a shadow, they haunt my footsteps with infallible
commitment, yet unlike the shadow...my sins do not
fade into the rising of the sun. Nay they grow into
an impenetrable night that eclipses the light, leaving

Primary Weapons:
The Demonic Sword 'Soul Crusher'

Secondary Weapons:
The Shadow Aura: A byproduct of his Shadow elemental control. The shadows have actually infused themselves with his armor and his body. This dark aura acts as a tangible force that not only intimidates and pushes people away but also acts as a minor magical supressor. He can control the power well enough except for when he is feeling extreme emotions. The shadow Aura intimidates lesser people to the point where those with a weak will often collapse or pass out from the impact of the aura.

Powers and talents:
Ashram is a masterful commander whose skills with leading forces is only second to his sword fighting skills. He can lead an army half the size of his opponents and still come out the victor. This is often due to the fact that in many of the battles he will lead the army himself, fighting along the troops on the front lines.

Biography:
Ashram once was a child who lived in the streets of Nevista as an orphan. Even as a child he intimidated the other children. His long dark Raven hair and cold staring eyes often scared other children away and becouse of that he spend most of his time alone. The only place he often spent his time was near the city archives. When night fell he could easily sneak in and spend most of his nights reading and studying the history of the city and the world. Growing up reading and spending time in the archives he began to notice certain fact that didn't add up in the lives of many nobles. After much searching and planning he eventually started to blackmail many of the nobles. After securing his finances he slowly built up his status until finally he was grudgingly acknowledged, if not respected.

It was when Ashram was visiting a respected noble when he witnessed the Iliriya clan's assassination of the said noble. In fact Ashrem walked in on the assassin sticking the knife into the lord himself. What followed was a chase that Ashram would not give up. He didn't know what possessed him so much to chase down a simple killer but the pursuit ended with the intervention Issildia Nevar. After finding out about the Clan Ashram found what he was looking for. He immediately swore his loyalty to Issilida and the Iliriya Clan. His support of the Clan brought not only finances but an inside member in the political high class. Ashram is a member as well as a supporter. He doesn't take part in any of the selective assassinations but he represents the clan when someone comes looking for a leader or mercenaries in the Llewllyn Kingdom. Now Ashram is not only acknowledged but feared as well, every noble afraid if they cross him the shadows will fill with the assassins of the Iliriya clan.

His sword came from one of the wars he was requested to fight. The army's leader presented it when his troops were surrounded and his forces exhausted. His armor was won when a lord's land was taken over by Ashram. The armor was found deep inside one of the store houses of the lords castle. Both the armor and the sword make Ashram a dangerous force to be reckoned with.

Race: Nazuren
Gender: female
Primary Weapons: A staff with a palm-sized purple orb in the top of it.
Secondary Weapons: none
Powers and talents: Being a Nazuren, Satinka is naturally telepathic and telekinetic. Her specialty is mind control -- she gets into people's minds, making them think she is their inner voice, and persuades them to do things that normally, they would not. This is, of course, only temporary, but can leave a lasting effect on the target such as confusion or a change of heart. She also uses her telepathy to stay in contact with her fellow clan members.Satinka uses her telekinesis primarily as a defense mechanism, but also for levatition and for distractions/decoys.

Biography: Born into a family of redheads, Satinka is definitely the oddball. Often the butt of jokes in her village, it wasn't long before Satinka was consumed by her rage. She slew her bullies as soon as she was capable; which turned out to be at the age of nine. This was met by fear and hate from everyone around her, even her own family, and Satinka was disowned. Now one of the best of the Ilirya Clan, Satinka carries out her missions in hopes of one day finding peace in the cold hands of death.

Those unclaimed areas can either be "buffer zones" between clans or the clans can wage war to claim them. 3nodding And yes we can start RPing, just join in.

hmmm...there may be a way to justify the Iliriya taking Nevista and the lands that surround it. Normally this clan would not go out of its way to gain territory, but I think I can give good enough reason lol. Though it will have to be after I bring in some NPCs...one of which is going to be from Ashen Blade. twisted
