Daenerys inhaled deeply of the sweet scent of grass as she looked out over the empty plains in front of her. These were not the barren and dry plains of the desert. This land was rich and verdant, full of life. She had been too young when she left to have any memories of Westeros, but the stories had made it seem like a much more contained land. It was a place with far more humans and far less sprawling space like this. More soquili and more problems.

These lands always seemed so peaceful to her. There were wild animals, but most of the soquili she had met seemed genuinely kind. Even the more hostile ones did not go out of their way to bother her or her group for the most part. Her dragons were currently all clinging to her back, asleep. They could all fit among her wings, but only barely. She wondered how much longer she would be able to carry all three of them at once for.
