With her performance costume soiled in dirt, Iris found herself needing to get dressed and get dressed fast. The world of Pomona was humid and muggy feeling. Heat was never an issue, it was the moisture that made the foreign senshi completely miserable.
Her desert clothing wouldn't do her any good, since it would keep all the moisture hugged in close against her body.
It left her with only one acceptable option.
Once the blonde had returned to a familiar Saturn Squire's side outside of the tent, she was in her short-skirted uniform.
"Miss me?" she said playfully before she once more leaned forward and planted her hands upon the ground. With an odd sort of ease, she soon enough lifted her feet off the dirt, and yet again she was standing in the world upside-down.
Did it matter that she had just tarnished her stage-costume with the dirt earlier thanks to a similar manner of walking?
Nope!
Did it matter that her skirt completely fell back and now was revealing her leotard underneath as she stood there?
Nope!
With a grin, the scraggly haired blonde asked "Shall we?" before flat out starting to take the lead.

Somehow, and he wasn't about to explain how because really it wasn't important, Crims had managed to come across a pepper in the short period of time that Iris had been gone. He held it in his left hand dangling above his tilted head. He had taken a bite of just the tip when she reappeared.
His head snapped forward and he brought his right hand up to catch whatever might fall from his bite. He turned toward her wearing a grin like a child who had just been caught eating something he shouldn't would wear. "Miss isn't exactly the word I would use," he answered, shrugging and wiping his mouth off.
He hardly noticed she'd been missing, most likely because she was only gone for a few minutes. It wasn't like a life passed and if he remembered correctly, they were still kinda fighting. So it was okay to make little digs, as long as they were still little.
He shook his head at her antics and snuck another bite of the pepper in his possession. "When you get your bodice all dirty, don't blame me," he warned before falling into step beside her. He did peek at her long legs and the end of her leotard, because hey, he was a guy and sometimes he couldn't help himself. He also, briefly, wondered how she could have been so mad at him for seeing as much as he did when she didn't seem to care about everything else that was revealed.
Girls were so complicated.
"So where's this pub?" he asked, finishing off his little snack.

As she walked, one hand in front of the other, Iris couldn't help but comment "I don't wear this uniform on a stage, so it can get dirty! My stage clothes are the ones that need to stay stain-free!" Had she been on her feet, she might have swiveled to turn to face the squire briefly. However, on her hands, it was a lot harder to maneuver herself in such a carefree manner.
As she had walked, they would easily note how they were surrounded by lovely rolling hills of greens and deep rich browns. The humidity did have a purpose on this world, and no matter how uncomfortable the heat and humidity was, it still yielded gorgeous results.
When her companion asked about where the pub itself was located, the girl stopped in place. She couldn't resist the temptation to show off slightly. Still holding her body up with one hand, she let the other one lift up so she could point ahead. Surely, she could have tipped over if someone decided to be cruel, but of her own efforts, she truly was able to keep balanced.
"It's down one of the many dirt paths, probably about 2 miles or so. There are quite a few in that area. It is kind of a tourist area, but it is quite lively!"
Eventually she lowered her hand back to the ground before briefly turning to Crims, her face flush now from how she was walking about, but grinning from cheek to cheek. "Maybe I can meet some of your knight-buddies... good chance they might be in the area!"

Crims would have preferred for his companion to walk using her feet, like normal people, because it would have been easier to continue their conversation. He didn't like having to look to the ground to look at her face. So he didn't, not really. He opted to focus his attention on the street before them.
That meant he didn't notice that she had stopped right away. In fact, he found himself a few paces ahead of her before he realized she was no longer beside him. He sighed, turned and tried not to roll his eyes at her show-off attempts.
She liked to show-off a lot.
"Two miles is kinda far, are you sure walking on your hands is a good idea?" He figured her hands were a key part of her act, being an acrobat and all so he didn't like the idea of them getting blistered. See, he cared. Sometimes.
Then she mentioned his fellow knights and he turned his head away. "Yeah..." He hid the frown on his face. "I dunno, maybe. Just, don't get your hopes up."

Iris was still smiling as she confessed "I've walked that distance before like this!" She actually had an awful tendency to walk in such a manner back home (not that Crims actually got to see such when he came to visit her). With a slight laugh, she mentioned "Maybe I just like walking like this because it tends to make people smile... you know? Something different and out of the ordinary!"
Despite her proclamation, she rather suddenly hoisted her legs forward so they would touch the floor and her upper body would lift up off the ground. As if she hadn't even been walking on her hands, she began to move forward, somewhat speeding up so she could lean in closer to Crims.
"Well... I don't know why I'd have my hopes up... I mean, it'd be nice to meet some other knights... but it isn't like my purpose in life or anything. I mean, the Pomonians are a rather friendly sort once you get to know them... so we don't really need more knights to have lots of fun!"
She seemed to trot forward a bit before mentioning "They have some interesting drinking games... though I haven't participated yet. It is entertaining to watch though!"

"I'm not sure about the smile part but it certainly gets people's attention," he remarked. He hadn't missed the curious stares of the people they passed. He knew better than to expect anything else when with Iris, people always stared at them. But that was what he liked about the blonde, she was different and proud of it. That was all that mattered.
He averted her gaze when she talked about knights. He didn't know why but he didn't want to introduce her to any of them. It was almost like he didn't want to share. "I know, I know," he replied, waving a hand. "I just don't know if you'll see any of them today, that's all." He really didn't want to keep talking about it, so he changed the subject.
"How many times have you been to Ponoma?" He asked, finally looking at her again. "And why haven't you participated? I mean, drinking aside, you've always got to accept a game challenge!"

Iris wasn't the sort who seemed all the fond of numbers, for she gazed up to the sky as she walked, tapping her chin a few times before coming up with the answer "Been here a few times."
His inquiry about why she hadn't participated in the drinking games managed to get the largest grin to form upon the blonde's face. It was a knowing smile and one that seemed to beam of pride.
"Well... I already accepted and completed the most difficult challenge they have on this asteroid! I don't have to prove myself because they already consider me one of them!" Sure, the challenge of the pepper had been difficult and she had to endure at least a few days worth of pain as a result. Iris had lived and she had conquered the food.
"They know that I only drink water though... so I don't get much pressure about the challenges." Her grin seemed to finally be softening to an inquisitive smile.
"...were you looking to drink me under the table, Crims? I mean... I am sure you'd win if only because... I only drink water... but I wouldn't mind playing a drinking game with you if you were really looking to have a challenge. Just know that I'd only be using water... so the point of the games might be lost on me!"

"What challenge was that?" Crims inquired curious as to what the world would consider the most difficult challenge to be. He wasn't surprised that Iris partook and passed it because he found her to be very prideful. It was a trait that he admired and was part of the reason he spent so much time around her.
"Drinking games aren't about proving yourself," he argued. "It's all about the game baby," he cracked a wild grin at her. "And fun. Definitely about fun. Like an adrenaline rush." He loved games and challenges.
He had come to the understanding that she only drank water but he didn't understand why. "See now that's cheating. I'd be a drunk and you'd be sober! Then you'd probably take advantage of me!" He teased waving his hands about for effect. "Why is that though? I mean, have you ever tried anything?"

"As you've probably noticed by now... there's a lot of peppers on this asteroid. Well... this world's senshi has a garden of the spiciest peppers... the kind that makes your insides bleed if you aren't careful... they have to keep those peppers protected because the dumb kids try to steal them and then have to seek medical attention afterwards."
She didn't spell out the challenge quite yet, pausing to glance about the pathway. Despite the humidity, she couldn't help but be a bit jealous of how lush this world was. However, she wouldn't change her way of life or wish for it to change.
"...The challenge was to eat one of those peppers... Pomona's senshi supervised my attempt on the challenge, and I passed. It hurt for a few days though... but it was still pretty fun."
Would she ever do it again? Nope! However, it was a nice thing to write up as an accomplishment.
When he asked about her stances on her beverage intake, she tilted her head a bit. "...think of it as a cultural difference? We don't drink things that make you thirstier after you've drunk it."
With her pointer finger, she poked him in the arm hard, finally acknowledging his teasing-dig. "IF I wanted to take advantage of you... I would have done it when you were on my homeworld. I mean, you were pretty damned naked in my home."

"I would hope the planet of the senshi of peppers would grow a plethora of peppers," he remarked cracking a sideways grin. He couldn't help but be a little bit of a smart-a**. "Sounds spicy," he stated wrinkling his nose and making a face of disgust. "Definitely not my thing," he shook his head, pretending to shudder. Crims had a sweet tooth, a MASSIVE one at that, and spicy had never set well with him. "I mean, I'd probably try anything once," he shrugged.
Still, he didn't like the sound of Pomona's hell pepper.
"I guess when you don't have your own water resource you probably don't like wasting a beverage," he frowned, brow knitting together as he thought more thoroughly about it. He scrunched his nose up again when he looked at her. "Hey, for all I know this is a trick. I mean, you seemed more concerned about how I appeared to your people than the fact I was half-naked." He was grinning that lopsided grin again. "Of course having me willingly and intoxicated willingly are two different things. I mean, my inhibitions are practically out the window then. I might do anything you wanted!" Or he would impulsively do things he wanted, and he wasn't about to admit what that was!

Her head bobbed up and down for a nod when he mentioned how own interpretation of her reasoning against drinking alcoholic beverages. However, the nodding would cease the moment he started to poke fun at her again. "...I'm pretty sure I told you that I was trying to make sure you didn't die of heatstroke. It can happen by being too fully-clothed and by being under-clothed." She sighed, then momentarily distanced herself by lingering a few steps behind. "... it isn't fun..." She couldn't forget the critical condition she had been found in after her first attempt at being her world's senshi. Nor did she forget the extreme amount of heat she had to endure during the trek through the Sacred Lands. No foreigner, and even the vast majority of the population of her asteroid would ever understand heat the way that the world's senshi would. Babba's clan only understood because they had rescued Iris when she was a new senshi. She briefly bit her lip, but then pushed herself back into place walking next to Crims rather than lingering behind him. He wouldn't understand her views on the matter, he was a foreigner. And at that moment, they were both foreigners to Pomona. "...so if I told you to do push-ups while standing on your hands, you'd do that while 'intoxicated willingly' doing whatever I wanted?" She smirked, because she was pretty certain he didn't have the upper body strength and coordination (especially when drunk) to do such a task. Nuxaz I am pretty sure you asked me to tag you this way :B

"Yeah, yeah," he said absentmindedly waving her concerns away. She had been with him, he hadn't been worried. "Just admit you liked seeing me half-naked regardless of the reason and we'll be done with it," he teased. He halted once he realized she was no longer beside him. He frowned, looking back in concern. "...Iris?"
But the moment had passed and she was beside him again. He decided against fretting too much and pushed forward. If she wanted to talk about it, they would but he had learned that prying didn't really work with Iris. Or course, it didn't work well with him either, so he left it alone.
He was all grins and bullshit again when she teased him. "I bet I could do it," he told her, nodding more vigorously than necessary. "I might not be able to walk gracefully on my hands like you, but I'm pretty confident that I could do some push ups on my hand." He'd been training, strengthening his muscles so he could perform well in combat.
How hard could a few handstand push-ups be?

The blonde seemed to give the boy a look up and down before asking "...do you have the balance though?"
A rather sudden mischievous smile spread upon her face before she leaned in, placing an arm in front of his torso. With her free hand, she bumped his elbow.
"...arms out front... and lean forward now..."
The hand which had been guilty of bumping his elbow soon enough would be guilty of bumping something else. Or rather, shoving something else. The hand firmly planted itself between his shoulder blades and soon enough was trying to seemingly push him forward and upside down.
Depending on whether he resisted or not, she was prepared to catch him however he needed her to.

Crims didn't like that Iris was constantly doubting his abilities, he was amazing and felt as though she just didn't want to admit it. So, he just smiled and shrugged. "More than you think rainbows," he answered trying to poke fun at her with the pet name. "Seriously, though," he started, trying to look serious. "Balance is one of the main keys to a good defense."
And then she pushed him, but she didn't just push him. No, she continued to until he buckled beneath her and caved. He let her shove him down, hands planting on the ground firmly while the rest of him lifted in the air. He teetered for a moment stumbling forward, then back on his hands before he spread them further apart.
And then he was balanced.
He hovered, suspended in the air craning his head to look upside down at Iris. "See," he chirped proudly. "Balance."

Once he was down for the count, the blonde girl set both palms upon each of his shins, as if trying to hold him up. He seemed to be holding himself up well enough, so it was less for his well being at this point and more for her own amusement.
"...yes, yes... but balance isn't the only thing necessary... your wits might be helpful in the long run. And I don't think you'd have those if you were drinking!"
Since he was now standing on his hands, it was time to see how well he did with the walk. Without skipping a beat, the girl soon enough had swung herself to standing behind him, still holding her hands upon his shins. With her feet, she stepped forward one time and tapped his right arm subtly with her right foot.
"Come now, let's see how far we can go before you get tired, Crims!" With a small giggle, she tapped him again. If he moved his right arm in accordance to walking, she would soon enough be tapping his left arm with her left foot.
It seemed as if this would be a sort of game for her if she got her way.
