Name: The Archivist
Age:97 - looks 24 - 0 generation
Species: Time Lord
Height: 6'
Weight: 179
Appearence: White hair - waist length, brown eyes, very attractive. Picture will come later.

Info: The Archivist was born into the war after being time locked inside, but during his time in the time lock, he was taken to the academy and was trained to be a warrior and a time lord. The young student’s skill set matched that of the academy chapter house known as Arcalian, but his skills also showed that he was to be a Time Lord Engineer. This pleased the high council of the time lords in the war, because he was assigned on a mission to be sacrificed with half of the Arcalian chapterhouse in the primary Time lord museum. But when it came time for him to die, an ancient Tardis that had lived used it’s shielding to protect the time lord. Running inside, the tardis moved in space but not in time. Landing in the meadows of red grass, the ancient Tardis disguised itself as a tree while caring for the child. Official records of Gallifray said he had died, but the truth was far from. In the long years ahead of him, the young child was adopted and grew up in the ancient tardis. Using his knowledge and his mind, The young Archivist bonded with the Ancient Tardis. His Tardis was a type 17 mark 2 that had taken very brutal and near irreparable damage, but that didn’t stop him from trying to save the life of the Tardis. His efforts to save the tardis were effective and fruitful, but it took his 70 years of his life and several trips to and from the Tardis repair bay. He learned a lot over that time to know that the Tardis was indeed alive, not a simple machine that could tossed aside as newer models were being made. This is how he took the name the Archivist, in honor of the Tardis that saved him and became his home. The tardis is also over-protective and sluggish, but after some work the sluggish part was reduced to a reasonable accord. At the age of 90, he talked to his tardis about a massive raid… in order to survive and evolve. He needed his hands on a dead modern Tardis for parts, it continued for a few days but the old tardis went back to the Repair bay. The Raid was quick and simple and a lot of other items were taken before he was about to be captured by the guards, with the dead tardis and several new parts, the Archivist and the Ancient Tardis escaped. Before the effective repairs began the planet started to move and the time lock was broken. In the last hour of Gallifrey, he watched as the president of gallifrey left the planet for the new one that appeared. It was his time to live, so the Tardis came to life and disappeared into space.

The Archivist

Sitting outside of the café with a face that was easily translated as bored, The white haired man sat back in the chair slightly more as he noticed that his hair was somewhat making a crowd around him. He didn’t understand why people were so interested in his hair or why people asked if he dyed it such, he could tell the truth but then again he remembered the roles he had to follow. The tardis was very strict with his education, but even with it’s own personality, The ancient tardis was a good home for him and he was now the pilot instead of the occupant. So he had to lie, in order to keep himself safe. The fall fair and the season itself almost reminded him of his planet, Gallifrey. Still he hoped that someone other than him survived, he was just a kid still by Gallifrayan standards. But he was smart enough to fly an Old Retro Tardis, where the newer type 90+ WarTardis had simplified flight controls to make room for the weapons and shielding systems. Suddenly the young time lord’s thoughts shifted, it was back on the two TTC’s he had close by. It took a while to convince the older TTC, but when you want to take a dead WarTardis with you in an older one, you had a new impossible fight. But he was glad the older tardis saw reason, it was a lot smarter and wiser then the decommissioned ones when it came to reasoning. The newer one had some systems the older one didn’t have, so He was planning to hook both together and have the tardis do a mass system update. It was like 2.1 updating to 19.8, but he was not going to go that far… just far enough that the older TTC could adapt and update to the new systems, newer equipment, and newest tech. but thankfully that was the agreement, to keep the Ancient Tardis healthy and alive. Weaponing the old TTC was out of the question, but he was secretly planning to install the shielding system. As he finished with the thought, His small cup of coffee arrived. The young man took the small cup and started to drink it, before letting it flow back into his cup. “ This stuff is awful… “ Spoke the young time lord.

Ditysmona fiddled with her hair nervously as she stared at the screen. Her TARDIS had picked up a distress signal. An impossible, very real, distress signal. It was very old in origin. Signals like that hadn't been used since she was a small child. But the war was done, and all her people dead, so who could be sending it? She had only encountered one signal since the war, and it had not been so old, but it was short, fleeting. She'd lost it in the time stream. There was the possibility that someone long ago had stolen a TARDIS. The planet it was on was called Earth, and the time it was in was pre-space travel. She couldn't imagine any human smart enough to steal a TARDIS from so long ago. With a sigh she landed her TARDIS and went to her room to get dressed.

"Come on, Alan!" said Ashley to her two year old son as they entered a small cafe. "You want a frozen chocolate?"

"Yeah, freezie!" The toddler exclaimed, running up to the counter. The woman working the counter inclined her head slightly as she saw Ashley and started work on the toddlers drink.

Ashley walked to the closest open table, past what she thought was an old hippie, but turned out to be a young man with long white hair. She raised her eyes at the odd man, but didn't say anything. Her son had returned with his drink and they sat down at the table next to the strange man. The little boy busying himself with coloring and his chocolate drink, his mother reading a few emails on her phone.

Ditysmona stepped out of her TARDIS. It had disguised itself as a palm tree. She was dressed in black trousers, a blue vest with silver flower designs, and a long black cardigan sweater. She'd pulled her hair back into a braid and tied it with a blue ribbon. On her neck she wore a necklace of Gallifreyan seashells on a silver chain. The middle one was flat, and her name was delicately hand painted on it. It had been a gift from her best friend at the University. Around her waist, hidden from view, was a black belt holding a silver knive, just in case. She checked a small round device. It told her the source of the distress signal was Northwest of her current location. Looking around, she saw a few shops, restaurants. She walked into one, a cafe, and approached the counter as a small child ran off with a drink.

"Excuse me?" she asked the woman at the counter. "I'm a bit lost. I'm supposed to be meeting someone. Do you have a map I could borrow?"

The woman provided the map and pointed out their location. Ditysmona began to study it, looking for where the signal could be coming from. Without taking her eyes off the map, she sat down at an empty table across from the small child and his mother, and next to a table where a young man with white hair was looking disgustedly at his drink.

Looking around the outside of the café grounds, he saw what looked like a family of two and a young lady. But as his eyes meet her backside, he instantly knew his call was answered. Before he could stand up however, a bitter pain bit into his skin threw his coat vest pocket. Pulling out the Ancient Tardis key from his pocket, His tardis was warning him about her. But he already knew what she was and what she had done, but in the end he personally didn’t care. He had to make a move now or lose another member of Gallifray, So he stood up and made a bold move to her as he placed his key away. As he took a step to her, he looked at the family of two beside them and smiled. Looking over to the Time Mistress, he spoke to her like an old Friend.

“ Do you remember the pastures of red grass? Or the Untempered Schism when we were taken from our families? “

Ditysmona had just about located on the map where the signal was coming from when he spoke to her. She froze. A cold rush ran through her veins. Slowly, in shock, she turned to face him. He not only looked young, but was young. Ditysmona doubted he'd even regenerated yet. She couldn't believe it, but there he was standing before her. There was a nagging, tingling feeling at the back of her skull that confirmed what he was. And as she looked into his eyes, she could see that he had seen the Untempered Schism.

"H-how...?" She began in a shocked whisper.

His face turned to that of sadness and despair, She was another time lord like him… but he knew the outcome well, Gallifray was now lost forever. But he had to see, thankfully he was not disappointed to see it. Her eyes told the same story as his, she too had looked into eternity. Moving around her and sitting down in a chair across from hers, he crossed his hands and hid his face. He was happy that there was another of them here, but he was also sad that he had to be born into the time war… his parents died in a dalek attack inside the dome city itself. Tears slowly feel from his eyes as he explained, letting her know his fate.

“I was saved, rescued in the historic relic section of the Gallifrayian Museum. My type 17 mark 2 Tardis only had enough power from it’s long dead hibernation to save me, the others of my chapter house died… We were sent to see if we could salvage and possibly use old tech in the war, it turned out be a lie by the lord president. He sacrificed chapter house Arcalian to the daleks, but the Tardis took me in. We have lived together and alone for over 80 years, but the Time lock was broken and with a dead War Tardis… We escaped Gallifray. “

He sighed as he sat up and wiped the tears from his eyes, looking at the family next to them before he looked back at her. His mood and story said all she needed to know, he lost 2 homes, 2 families and was betrayed by the very government they were meant to serve. But that didn’t stop him from moving on, if nothing else he was still too young to pilot a Tardis. But it was clear he can and he did, an impressive feat for a young time lord. But even more impressive was finding and operating an ancient Tardis that were thought to be long since extinct, But he did spend 80 years inside a tardis… so the knowledge came easy.

“ Please, Tell me how you survived? “

Ditysmona closed her eyes, sighed, and shook her head. She remembered the day the Arcalian house had been sacrificed. She had been among those most vocal against it. But of course, the Lord President didn't listen to her. He never did. Her eyes snapped open again when he asked her a question.

"Me?" Another sigh. " I was in the war. And at the end... when The Doctor announced what he was about to do... I couldn't let him. I couldn't let him destroy us. So I set my TARDIS on a collision course... It didn't work. We must've collided at the exact same time he set off his weapon. Maybe the shields my TARDIS had up protected us. I don't know. But I lost control of the ship and we careened through time and space. When I finally got control of the ship again... Gallifrey was gone. Everyone was gone. I wasn't able to stop it." She fell silent and began to fiddle with her necklace.

***

Ashley stared at two very sad looking people who were having the strangest conversation she had ever heard in her life. Something about doctors and sacrifices, daleks and tardises. She pretended to check more emails and strained to hear their conversation.

The young time lord closed his eyes, he also knew the doctor and what she meant. Gallifrey was sealed up, than was released for the last stage of the president’s plan. But the doctor stopped them and allowed him freedom. But the price was high, too high. Eons of knowledge was terminated by the hands of the doctor, He thought he was the last, but the girls presence told him otherwise. Opening his eyes and looking around the area, he reached out and placed his finger tips on her hand that touched the seashell.

“ I’m still too fresh for this and I have a lot of questions, I learned all I could from my TTC Unit. But it’s an old unit, And I can’t access the newer one without a secondary power source. Can you help me? “

Spoke the young time lord with a small smile, as he turned his hand around and held it out for her. She knew things he didn’t and that kind of knowledge could help him in the future, but they were the last of a now extinct breed. But they could survive now, maybe even restore the time lords. But he had to know if she was going to help him, because he knew the destruction was a sudden event. But he was lucky to make it out alive, let alone survive the war without regenerating. The daleks, the nightmare Child, The army of mean was but never were. The war had turned to hell, he may as well be… the last of the time lord engineers.

Ashley's eyes widened with realization. "Alan, stay here a sec." she said to her son, and walked over to the strangers at the nearby table.

"Excuse me," she said, "but I've overheard what the two of you were saying and... what movie are you preparing for?"

"Movie?" Ditysmona asked, a bit blankly.

"Yeah," said Ashley. "The two of you are rehearsing lines, right?"

Ditysmona gave the young man a quick look that told him to play along. "Right, yes. Sorry, it's supposed to be a bit of a secret. You know how directors are these days. We didn't think anybody would notice us. Come on-" Ditysmona looked at the young man, realizing that she didn't know his name. Oh hell, she thought. What's a normal Earth name?

"-Matt." She finished, after a short pause. "Yes. It's time for us to go. I'll help you... with your lines... at your place, Matt."

Simply put, the young time lord was not amused with the name Matt. But he was going to play along and make it comical. Pulling back his hand, he moved it towards the young lady and spoke to her. “ Pardon me milady, You have a nice day. “ Spoke The young man in a voice that could only be described as a turn on, he went from a plain accentless voice to an Italian accent. Putting his hand away, he moved his chair back under the table and nodded to his Time lord Friend. It was a slight walk to his Tardis, but surprisingly she had landed her’s just a few feet away from his.

When "Matt" had taken his hand off hers, Ditysmona got up to hand the map back to the woman at the counter. She turned around to see the woman who'd approached them blushing and "Matt" getting up from his seat. He turned and nodded at her.

"You, too." said Ashley, a little more high-pitched than normal. "It was lovely to meet you."

"You, too, ma'am." said Ditysmona as she returned to the table.

Grabbing "Matt" by his arm she leaned in and whispered "You were supposed to play along, not seduce the natives. Let's go."

“what’s Seduce mean? “ Asked ‘ Matt ‘ in a honest tone of voice, he had passed his stages in the tardis and half the stuff he should have known were lost because he was a recluse. Looking down at her for a moment, he saw that his friend was holding on to him and leaning in closely. He respected his fellow time lords sure, but still she seemed to close to him and he felt slightly uncomfortable with it. A redness warmed his face for the moment, he suddenly started to think he was sick or something.

Ditysmona's eyebrows raised in surprise. She looked at him again. She could tell he was obviously young, but she hadn't realized how young. She began to feel a bit awkward. Never having been a mother, she'd never been in a position to explain the process of mating and reproduction. His face began to redden under her shocked stare. "It's... not a conversation we should have in a public setting," she said. "Come on. Take me to your place and I'll see what I can do to help."
