The Shining Light award is given to a member specifically for helping/contributing to the group in various ways every month. This can involve the roleplay (such as good ideas/suggestions for the roleplay), artistically (hosting art shops or free art for members' characters), or community-wise (with the guild system itself).

How it Works


o1 ) Nominees are chosen by the Vice-captains/captain, but can also be suggested by members. Note that this is a different system from the Cat of the Week.

o2 ) Captain/Vice Captains are the deciding force, and member can only NOMINATE other members, they cannot VOTE for other members.

o3 ) If a community shows enthusiastic support for a certain nominee, it is possible they will have a higher chance of winning.

o4 ) A member can only win the Shining Light award once a year.

o5 ) A nominee must have 40 posts in the guild minimum.

o6 ) Anyone on/pending removal from the blacklist is prohibited from nomination/recieving the award. Nominees who become blacklisted are removed from the list of possibilities.

o7 ) Candidates will not be wiped off for the next round. Meaning, if you were nominated for one month, you will remain on the list until someone requests you be taken off. So, you'll always be nominated. This way, we remember those who still deserved to get the award without having to re-nominate them every month.
