Chronos
The world was once in chaos, but it was saved by a group that is known in the underground as Chronos.
This organization used their money, power, and skilled assassins to control the evil that tried to throw it into chaos. Controlling one third of the world's economy, Chronos kept growing. A group of elders kept control of the organization, and used a group of elite assassins to do so. The assassins, or erasers, were known as the Time Guardians. Each member had their rank, or number, tattooed somewhere on their body that was usually visible.
The twelve main members were used to represent the face of a clock. The thirteenth member was different. He was the greatest assassin that Chronos held power over. His name was Train Heartnet. Though Train was raised to kill, he began to question this when he met a woman named Saya. She showed him that killing was not always the best way to accomplish things. All because of her, he left Chronos, and put his life in danger.
Sweepers
In a world where evil is common, there has to be a way to clean up the streets, right?
Well, that is the point of these people. They are called sweepers because they come in, and sweep away the criminals, however, they do have a price. Being a sweeper means that you are a bounty hunter, and the bigger the bounty, the better.
Among the sweepers, there was a former IBI member. His name was Sven Vollfied. When he was an investigator, he had a partner named Llyod. Llyod had foreseen something bad happening to Sven, and so he went to save him. Llyod ended up losing his life for his partner, and even gave him the gift of Clairvoyance. Sven turned in his badge, and took to the streets with a desire to put criminals behind bars.
The man-made and the Tao
Where money can buy anything, it can even buy life.
With a craving for power comes the desire to be better. To have a better weapon or ability than any other. To put yourself all the way at the top, even if it means throwing others to the ground as you make your way up. These people will never stop, and will never allow anyone to be in their way.
Created long ago was a girl by the name of Eve. She had little emotions, and was raised to do one thing: kill. She was rescued by a pair of sweepers, Train and Sven. The two took her with when collecting bounties, and kept her around as their third addition. Eve was shown to have the ability to transform her body into various things useful for survival and fighting. The greater her imagination got, the more she could do.
The Tao are a group of people who craved power. When they became a team ,they called themselves the Apostles of the Stars, and were lead by former Chronos eraser, Creed Diskenth. They all have strange abilities after drinking a strange potion. Each person acquires different powers, and each will react differently. Some will embrace the power, some will use it for amusement, and some end up losing their sanity.
