Oscar nodded "Well parents have a way of keeping things from their kids... You should see my sister trying to find out about Christmas presents... " He looked at the framed pictuer him and his family.
Oscar looked back at him somewhat confused but at the same time. "No kiddin'? I wonder what would happen if you cewed.... I can't remember what the name of that plant is... It was on a choclet frog card... some witch cewed on some and mainged to save her life by sticking her head in a bucket because she got gills for a little wile... but since they're for show... figritivly."
Then something acerded to him, Dr. Grypus was human, perhaps that was why Oscar's dad a Healer helped the, " Does that mean you don't know your' Mum? Sorry I shouldn't assume things, I should? I mean I can play some basketball, in the right conditons... Oh you probbly don't know what basketball is. It's an Amarican Muggle sport." He said unrolling one fof the two posters they wern't moving and showed a player shooting from a speslized sport wheelchair "Honestly since flying carpets are iligal, I wouldn't be here without Muggles, since it was a muggle who made both the wheel and the wheelchair. So I learned about them a little and found a game that doesn't need leg strangth to play. Don't get me rong I like Quidditch, but I won't ever be able to ride a broomstick." he glanced at the other boys in the room before back the out one to whom he was talking. He didn't know what it was like the ablity to stand but he didn't really care, exsept when it came to putting on and taking off his pants, then he figured it would be usefull, though he manged well enough without them moving, after having put on his night shirt of corse.
He didn't know why he was telling the other this, after all they had just met then he chuckled to himself shaking his head, "Mum would scold me." he said then put out his hand, "If I didn't do a propper introduction, I know we just heard each other's names in the Great Hall, and in our pajamas and all, but I'm Oscar Masterman, and it's an honnor to meet you." He said as propperly as he could, however he actully ment it, he was honnored to meet someone diffrent and always was when he did, becaue they knew how it felt as an outsider. When ever he ment someone normal he would say that he was honnored but there was always a small hint of secpisesum in it because he didn't know yet if they were just being nice because he was in a chair. Even More so when his dad's Healler friends came over.
He looked up at the wall then down at the two posters, the one had rerolled itself back up. "I'm sorry to ask but can you pin them up for me?" he asked " They're muggle posters, though dad said he'd inchant them to move, I think that would ruin the quality of it. The one in the chair is from the Spashel Olimpics. The other one is the Harland Globetroders, they're an amarican team, and amzingly tall as far as humans go, but they do speshel fundrazers to help others.... like me, get into the sport, or a chair, mostly for muggle children hospitals. Somewhat Ironic really. A Healler's son unable to walk. Though swimming's not too bad eather.... Once I am in the water that is.... getting in and out on the other hand.... that's a chalinge," he didn't like relying on help too much but it was unavoidable at times.
((I had the C-frog card in one of the PC Harry Potter games.... and couldn't really think of a name for the basket-ball teams...))
