Porsha's first night in her new apartment had been... Different. It was certainly exciting, enough so that it had made winding down for the night a challenge. She did eventually tire somewhere around the wee hours of the morning when the sun had just begun to think about rising, though even as she lay there, exhausted from the move itself and lugging around boxes, she found it difficult to sleep.

It might have had something to do with it being a new bed, even if the pillows were once she'd owned for years. It could have been the new, larger layout of her bedroom. Hell, it could have been how terribly quiet the place was. Po was used to an old house that sounded, for lack of a better word, alive. It breathed. When the air kicked on the vents sighed. Once upon a time she'd complained about the noise. Now she seemed to miss it..

A couple of hours of shut eye had been achieved when she'd finally broken down and dug up her clock radio so she could fill the room with quiet music.

Unfortunately she hadn't bothered putting up blinds or curtains yet, so when the sun came up Po rose with it, feeling tired and cranky. After losing the battle to return to REM cycle she'd finally gotten up, pulled on a pair of thigh slit jogging shorts and a tank top, and wandered out of her apartment and out of the building, making her way to the donut shop on the corner for a cup of coffee and something sugary for breakfast.

When she came back she ended up glaring at her door, hands full of baked goods and fresh brewed coffee, her keys dangling from the waist band of her shorts. Clearly she had not thought this through. "Fuuuuuck."

It wasn't until Dustin got out of the shower that he realized it was missing. His ********," he groaned. He must have left it in the dryer down in the basement, which meant it was little use to him now as he was dripping wet in his bathroom. Looking for an alternative, he slipped on a pair of underwear and headed for the front door. It was a nearly empty apartment building, and all of the residents were people he wouldn't mind being caught in his underwear by. In fact, he hoped to have that experience with most.

It wasn't until he got out of his apartment and into the hallway that he realized his new neighbor was another name he could add to that list - and one who had already seen him in such a state (and more) already.

"So, you stalking me now?" Dustin teased. He placed his hand to his chest, still dripping wet, feigning humility. "You really find me that pretty?"

The voice was familiar, though not one she had expected to hear here. A little stunned, the teen turned, then went relatively slack jawed by the sight she was met with. Dustin, damn close to naked, and dropping wet. For a handful of seconds all she could do was stare, grey eyes following the slow progress of a dropped off water as it ruled down his neck, long his chest, then lower.

Shaking her head subtly she looked up, finally meeting familiar eyes. "I'm sorry, what?" A second later get brain kicked into gear. "Stalking? No, I wouldn't have known where to start looking." Which sort of, kind of implied the idea had maybe crossed her mind.

"I just moved in here, yesterday in fact." The tiniest of frowns set painted lips in a soft pout. "Do you live here?" Cause if her did...

"I do," Dustin said, in a bit of disbelief at the entire situation as the reality of it started to dawn on him. He gave a short, second-long nervous laugh. "Heh. It's almost like. Like we're living together now. We sure fast forwarded that relationship, ********. They were almost living together now, weren't they? <******** class="quote">

A violet brow rise, temporarily thrown off her train of thought by his sudden awkwardness. "If you call being neighbors living together, then sure, I guess." Her voice was soft, even, as if she were talking to a crazy person.

Pivoting on her heel she turned her hip towards him and have it a little jiggle to make her keys bounce. "Grab those and get the door, eh? My hands are full, and I'd like to sit down while I eat my breakfast." While he was having his little freak out, she was going to eat her donut. Priorities.

"Right," he said, quickly calming himself down and regaining his cool. There was no reason to panic. They weren't in a relationship, and Porsha didn't seem the type to be jealous if he brought other guys or girls home. Besides, there could be advantages to having her kept so close. "Sorry for the freak-out. Let me help you with that..."

He approached her and stood behind her, his hands sliding down to grab her keys from her waistband before opening the door. "May have just gotten you wet. I mean, I need a towel. Do you have one?"

Grey eyes rolled as Dustin began to chill out. Really, was that minor freak out well and truly needed? She didn't think so. None of this was voiced though because she rather liked him as a friend, as well as the benefits that came along with that. Instead she chuckled, watching him as he slipped around behind her, enjoying the view while she could.

When his hands slid along her sides she went very still under his touch, chin dipping so she could catch a peek of his fingers as the pulled her keys from the band of her shorts. His innuendo was not immediately spotted for what it was, as she gave a quiet nod and shiver before realization dawned as he asked for a towel.

Cheeks slightly flushed, not from embarrassment, Po nudged the door open with her foot before entering and heading straight for the counter to set her breakfast down. "Yeah, just a second." A paper plate was pulled out of one of the cabinets for her donut, she didn't want glaze on her counter. As she moved towards the bathroom she happily licked the sticky mess of her fingers. "Be a shame though to cover all that up," was her parting shot as she disappeared down the hall, before reappearing with a big fluffy towel in an avocado green.

"Just need it for a moment," Dustin said, taking the towel with a thankful nod of the head. As he dried himself off, he gave the place a good look around. "You just move in? It's looking better than my place, and I've been here for, I dunno, maybe two weeks now. ********, I should fix that."

His apartment was still nothing more than an empty studio with a mattress on the ground, a laptop, and a single suitcase of clothing which had by now been dumped all over the floor.

"And thanks," he said, when he finished drying himself off, offering back the towel, unsure where to put it.

Hands free, she finally went back to her donut and tearing a piece off so she could take a bite. While he dried himself off she enjoyed the view, grey eyes taking in every inch of exposed shin. Yep, still hot as ********. And apparently he lived right next door to her. How ******** convenient was that for hook ups?

The question about her move made her glance around the apartment before shrugging. "Yeah, yesterday morning. I spent most of my night unpacking the bulk of my s**t." She didn't have much, but it was better then a mattress and a laptop.

The towel was taken and laid on the counter. Po leaned beside it, adjusting one of the straps on her shoulders. "So if you live here," she ventured, wagging her bit of donut in his general direction. "Then that means you're touched by chaos." It wasn't exactly subtle, bit It was better then just coming out and accusing him of working for the Negaverse.

It was perhaps a little too subtle for Dustin, who was still unfamiliar with much of what it meant to be a Negaverse agent. Sure, he took the crash course, but the term "Chaos" didn't ring any bells at first. He stared blankly at her, a bit confused, before it all dawned on him. This was a Negaverse building, after all. It must be something to do with that.

"Oh ********," Dustin grinned with a bit of relief now that there was an understanding. "s**t yeah I am, I didn't know you were on the team. I wonder if there's a no ******** your teammates policy, cause I think I broke it a few times."

"What's your nickname or whatever?" he asked. "You got any magic like me or are you one of the weapon-carrying people?"

Her brows rose as he started blankly at her, and she wondered for a moment if maybe he wasn't an agent of chaos, and if he had gotten invited to live in the building for some other reason. It had her frowning, second guessing herself briefly before she watched the realization sink in. His relieved grin was returned, followed by a chuckle. "Well I'll be damned." What were the odds?

"Oh God, no. Least not that I've heard of.." Surely Painite would have mentioned it, our Zinkenite. Wait.. Want Zink with Ever, and Ever a General. "Actually, I know for a fact there isn't, come to think of it."

She blinked at the mention of magic, then shook her head. "Xenotime, and no real magic to speak of, not yet. No real weapon either, but I hear the crap I started with will evolve." Her shoulders rose in a shrug. "I don't really care, I know how to fight." Quickly she finished off the last of her don't, then grabbed her coffee and took a sip. Slipping past him so she could go take a seat on the futon, long legs folding under her.

"Xenotime? No s**t," Dustin grinned. He had heard of the name and was pretty sure he had seen her around before, a fellow officer in Spec-Ops. "Name's Typhon. I'm the sexy dude with the gorgeous hair, ripped body and army of drooling fanboys and girls." He winked as he took a seat on the futon next to her.

"They say I'm the 'Senshi of Hurricanes' or some s**t, which I guess just means I'm a total BAMF," he explained. "Or the Super Senshi now, or something. At least that's what the cat said. Do you know the Negaverse has talking cats? That's some ******** weird s**t. They should put those cats in like, an exhibit. They'd make so much cash, right?"

"No s**t?" She had indeed seen him before, but only briefly, and she hadn't known what name to attach the corrupted Senshi with long flowing looks that looked like ocean water "How ******** cool is that?" She added, leaning against him the second he'd taken a seat beside her. "And congratz on the Super part, I think. I fought a super senshi once, well, and Order aligned one. She was pretty tough." Her head tipped back on his shoulder so she could grin up at him upside down. "Not tough enough though, I still won."

The mention of talking cat's had her blinking at him, head tilting gently to one side. "I think I heard that, but I haven't seen one. What are they like?" Now she really wanted to meet one, she loved cats.

Lifting her head again she took a long sip of her coffee, then held it up for him, offering him a drink if he wanted one. "Small world, huh?" this was the first time she'd ever known someone as a civilian, and had them end up being powered. At least to her knowledge. It had her wondering who else in her life might have secret nightly excursions of the magical variety.

"I've gotten my a** kicked by a few Senshi before," Dustin laughed. "Oh man, this one b***h summons snakes, right? And she like, threw a goddamn snake at my crotch. And it bit me. On my d**k. Do you have any ******** idea how much it hurts to have a snake bite your c**k? And it was a ******** poisonous snake that goddamn paralyzed my p***s, it hurt so ******** bad."

If he were someone with humility, his face would be bright red with embarrassment as he told the story. Instead, he just had the widest grin.

"And I don't know, they're like, talking cats? Pretty chill, but damn weird too," he went on. "It seems like everyone I know lately is in the Negaverse club. It's a fun party. We should arrange an orgy."

She turned as he got into the story about the snake, violet brows arching upward as went into great detail about the snake bite and the effects. "That's harsh," she agreed, taking another drink of her coffee before setting the styrofoam cup on the floor in front of them. "Can't say I've shared that experience. The snack or the a** kicking." She smirked. "I usually win." The only exception having been forced to flee from a falling building. She didn't think that should count.

"I'm gunna have to meet one of these cats now." Not that she had any clue how to find one, but maybe Dustin did. She'd ask him, later, when they weren't discussion orgies.

The smile she turned up to him was devious as hell. "As appealing as that might be, how many other officers do you know that would really go for something like that?" As she didn't know any, she was left to speculate. "But hey, if that plan doesn't pan out, I'm only an apartment away."

Sitting down, the lack of sleep was beginning to get to her again. She yawned, arms stretching up over her head before invading the hell out of his personal space by claiming his lap as a pillow. "I think it's cool," she offered, smiling lazily up at him. "My favorite music buddy is right next door. Last time we met up I had meant to catch your number, but by the end of the night it had slipped my mind."
