Dylan comes from a long line of meisters. They were a well known bunch in Death City. His mother and father seemed to fight a lot when he was younger, but Dylan never really thought much of it. It was a common occurrence to him. When Dylan was five, his mother had been pregnant for some time. She had a baby girl, Dylan's younger sister. They lived happily for a few years after she was born before Dylan's older brother snapped. He decided to go down the path if the kishin to get stronger, and started by killing his family. Dylan watched in horror as his brother slaughtered his parents and sister. Luckily, their souls were saved by a Meister/weapon pair that showed up to stop his brother before he had the chance to eat their souls or move onto his last victim. Dylan suffers from chronic nightmares depicting this memory, which also takes him an insomniac. This incident made Dylan want to get stronger so that he could get revenge on his kin.
He joined the DWMA at an insanely young age (9 years old) and eventually graduated at the age of 15. The teachers were amazed by this and insisted that he be tested to make sure that he had absorbed the information they taught him over his 4 years. They created a long test that included questions on everything that he should have learned. They were once again surprised when Dylan didn't miss a single question. As it turned out, his determination to get stronger also made him strive to be smarter, faster, and over all better than his brother. Dylan learned of his ink abilities during his first year of school, which earned him the title "The Ink Meister", while his tendency to blink a lot got him the nickname "Blink". Outside of school, he underwent a strange training program that greatly increased his speed and strength.
Abilities:
+ Ink Blot - This is an ability that allows Dylan to control ink and paint. He can move and shape it to his will. Anything that he shapes the ink into takes on the properties of whatever he mimics. Any dry ink/paint can be liquefied by this ability, and liquid ink/paint can be dried.
+ Ink Golem - By combining Dylan's "Ink Blot" and "Factory of Creation" abilities with his "Sky Crush" ability, he can create a large, soul shaped shield of solid ink that surrounds his body. This can block one attack before disintegrating. The order by which it is created it as follows:
1.) Factory of Creation: Dylan uses this ability to create a large amount of ink from either the air around him, or his own blood (whichever is more convenient).
2.) Ink Blot: Dylan uses this ability to shape the ink into an orb around him.
3.) Sky Crush: Dylan uses this ability to force the ink outwards and strengthen it, making it appear as if the ink was made of stone. This is what gives it the defensive capabilities.

~ Blocks a single attack before the orb disintegrates.

+ Factory of Creation - This ability allows Dylan to alter the properties of air molecules around him to create ink. He can also do this with his own blood. The air or blood of his within a 4 foot radius around him can be used for this ability.
+ Sky Crush - Dylan can create an unnaturally strong force, allowing him to push objects and people away without touching them. The amount of force created depends on how much Dylan decides. This force could even completely destroy the ground beneath him if he's not careful. This force can be applied in a defensive manor to block, knock away, and even nullify some attacks. This force can be concentrated into one area of Dylan's body, such as just in front of his palm, in order to increase the effectiveness of the force.
~ A powerful force requires a cool down of 4 posts, while a weak force doesn't require one.
+ Destruction Crush - Destruction wave is an advanced form of Soul Menace. It uses the same basis - self resonance, driving your soul through the opponent to deal internal damage - but acts on a larger scale. By clapping ones hands after performing the self resonance required, their soul releases a pulse of energy. Anything living thing caught inside this pulse is struck by the full soul wavelength of the person who activated this ability, causing internal damage.

Dylan comes off as a bit of a manipulative sadist, and that is because he has a tendency to make people upset. He is incredibly smart, and has no regard for feelings, others or his own. Of course he has feelings, but he doesn't make any attempt to express them. Dylan suffers from chronic insomnia, which means he has trouble sleeping. This is due to a traumatic experience in his childhood that gave him chronic nightmares that depict this memory. He can fall asleep, but he never sleeps through the night. Dylan likes to tease people, and he sometimes takes it too far.
