A set a dark green eyes watched their own reflection in a mirror. His hair was finally back in a loose, but tidy pony tail that was held together with a red silk ribbon. He fixed the lapels on his red shirt, straightened the slight wrinkle in his chest and fixed his sleeves. He took one final look at his appearance and nodded with approval. Everything was groomed and in place, he was in his best.

Once ready he picked up his fathers old hat and placed it lovingly on his head, adjusted the feather and proudly stepped outside. He had the basket with their dinner inside it ready. He was going to met the most beautiful woman he had ever met. He was nervous. His heart pounded against his silk shirt as he walked. He made his way to the park and on the way he picked up some fresh, red roses.

Once there he saw her, staring into the lake. He gently cleared his throat so he wouldn't startle her. "Good evening, Astraea." Her name made him blush, but luckily his coat was dark enough to hide it.

He smiled and passed her the roses, then set down the basket. "Sushi." He opened the basket and pulled out a large blanket and laid it out. He pulled out two candle holders, candles, matches, plates and a large sealed container that held the sushi. "Are you ok with sushi?" It was a last minute decision and it made him nervous that things wouldn't end right.

He carefully set everything up and pulled out a two small pillows from his basket. He set them across from each other and offered her a seat, then took the reaming one. In silence he served her, then himself. He found himself looking at her, then pausing, lost in thought while doing so. He had to shake it off. His nerves were getting the best of him. "I-I hope you like it." A stutter! Only around her did he stutter.

He looked at her rather surprised. How did she discover that he was a Musketeer? "I'm glad you like it." He ate his own sushi in silence. He wanted to tell her that on his own. He wondered if one of his brothers had something to do with this. His tail flicked a little. "Are you thirsty?" He didn't know what kind of wine went with Sushi so he just brought water.

He passed her some water and sat up. Robin Hood wore a hat with a feather... as did Peter Pan... He easily got off of his thought as he watched her paw her food. "Is there something wrong?" Her sudden urge of wanting to say something made him uneasy. He too pushed his food to the side.

Algernon let out a laugh. That was it? "Goodness... I thought you were sick or something. But a Leader, that is wonderful." He smiled. "One day you will have to show me around." He would love to see where she lived, assuming she lived with the tribe. And who knows, if they needed a guardian, he wasn't anything to sneeze at.

Algernon smiled. He was happy that she wasn't sick or hurt. "I would love to come visit your tribe lands one day. I think that is interesting that you will become an Elder." He finished his sushi and water. "If you are full then don't worry. I did pack a little extra." He wasn't sure how much longer the sushi would last in the basket, but he packed everything else up. "Would you like to go for a walk around the lake?" He glanced over at the lake, it was a cloudless night and the stars danced on the lake and illuminated the surrounding area.

Algernon got up, then took off his hat and with a smooth motion he bowed at her, then returned the hat to his head. Then he offered her a paw. "Shall we get going then?"
