Sammy was shuffling along looking at Siddie with a worried pout, "You got the Spookies right?" She had asked three times already in her panic to get to Amrita's. There had been some rumors that Amrita was sick. Others had said they saw another student helping her back to her dorm.
What mattered was her sweet little Ammi was aching and she was not about to let her suffer when Siddie and her could fix that. Today was one of the few days Sammy wasn't decked out in her usual outfit, instead loose jeans and an overside Johnny Danger T-shirt (okay oversized for Siddie, it just happened to fit Sammy well enough in a rush)
They reached the other ghouls room, Sammy knocking on the door, "Hey Ammi? It's Sammy, and Siddie, we wanted to check in on you! Can we come in?"
The last part wasn't a question. Sammy was so going on regardless because she worried about her little prodigy ever since the whole kidnapping.

Siddie did indeed have the spookies, plus a thermos of nice funereal tea; tea and something soothing to eat were always good when you felt sick. Maybe Amrita didn't have to eat, but a nice treat was soothing, Siddie felt. She didn't know Amrita as well as Sammy did, but she liked the other ghoul.
She waited a little nervously behind Sammy.

Amrita had been well enough to send a plea for entertainment out to critter, and soon found herself regretting it. Hel's teasing about being heart - and love - sick, Sibyl's too innocent worry and Christof's normal amount - but still distressing enough - worrying. She couldn't get up to pace off her anxiety, nor could she fidget like she wanted to without seriously hurting herself. Reaching out like that while in this condition had been the wrong thing to do, it seemed...well, she learned for next time.
No wait, no more next times entirely.
This was the last time she'd go as overboard as she did. No more almost dying, no more bedridden pain, no more downtime that left her more on edge than she had been prior. No more of any of this. Yes. It was a promise.
Sammy's knock startled her into dropping her phone, which hit her wounded stomach at a short distance but still enough to draw a hiss of pain. The phone was slid off her person and she did a quick check of herself; long sleeves to hide the bandages of her once-broken arm and shoulder, no alarming spots of fluids to give herself away...okay, she could do this. They wouldn't get too handsy, right? She looked at her side, where DC was curled up tightly, white-hot eyes staring at the door.
"Ah-y-yes-it's open!" She called out, drawing her blankets a little higher up her body, just in case. "Hi Sammy, Hi Siddie - you didn't have to come check on me! How are you two doing?" Amrita asked, a small smile on what was left of her lips.

Sammy's head poked in first, the door cracked open and the glowing purple eyes where peeking through at Amrita with a pout. Edging the door open more she made room for Siddie to step into the room.
"I keep hearing all kinds of stories Ammi, some people said you got sick, someone said they saw you all kinds of messed up going into the dorms. I don't know whats up but I saw the critter message too." She waved to Siddie, "Siddie makes the best spookies though and they go great when you're feeling down so I asked if she would help make some for you."

"We just got a little worried," Siddie added as she came in, bringing over a covered plate and a small thermos to set down on the nightstand. She uncovered the plate to reveal a stack of freshly made spookies. "I made enough to bring you some even after Sammy had stolen a few," she said, turning a stern expression on the zombie ghoul.

Sammy has no idea what you're talking about Siddie, she is looking at stuff in Amrita's room like the most innocent ghoul ever.

...Someone saw her? s**t.
"...Aaha, who is saying that?" Amrita chuckled admittedly a little nervously, managing a nonchalant shrug of her shoulders. If it was Night, she was going to smack him. "Silly rumors, I'm just sick, I promise." Her gaze moved to her side table as Siddie set the tray down, thankful for the distraction. "They look delicious, Siddie, thank you so much!" Okay, she couldn't just lay there any more; that wasn't convincing and she knew it...but s**t, she was not looking forward to the pain.
She struggled to sit up as effortlessly as possible, trying to not let the way her entire abdomen screamed at her reflect on her face. Her teeth grit though, unable to stop that particular move. Her movements were shaky, but hopefully her little white lie would be enough. "Sorry, I won't really be much of a hostess...but make yourselves comfortable, please." She reached out slowly to take a spookie, lifting it just as slowly to take a nibble.

Sammy glanced over her shoulder for a moment waving her bone hand side to side, "I don't even know, some first years sulking about. They thought you tried sneaking into forest to see the Horsemen or something." She shrugged. "All I know, is I hear you're feeling down, so we came to visit."
Turning around proper she watched as Amrita winced ever so slightly trying to get the spookie causing her to frown a bit more. "You sure you don't want one of us to get Mal or Cricket to help you? Bed rest is good and all but you know they both could patch you up in no time if somethings wrong."

"You don't have to eat if you don't feel like it," Siddie put in worriedly. "Don't be polite on our behalf if you really don't feel well; we just wanted to bring you something nice and check on you." She folded her hands in a little nervous gesture. Was Amrita really hurt? Siddie had been inclined to think that it was just a little bug of some sort, first-years got gossipy and paranoid, but Amrita looked like she might actually be in pain.

"Ahaha, well, I can honestly tell you I haven't been near the forest in months." Which was true; the first time she came back this injured she had left her body there, but this time had been an accident on her part. At least she could get through this without too much lying. She hated lying, and didn't imagine she was any good at it. Hopefully she'd be just good enough! "Silly first years."
"Nah, I'm not going to bother either of them unless I really need it. I'm just...I dunno. I woke up, and I felt like I was hit by a truck." Which was also something mostly true; she actually didn't feel the full extent of it until she woke up in Night's room a few days later. "Been in bed ever since. But I told myself that if I didn't get better by the end of the week, I'd go see Cricket." Siddie's worrying earned her a smile, but Amrita didn't put the spookie down. "No, no, I want to! I could probably use the extra FEAR, even if it is Spookies. They really are delicious though~" Not that she could really taste most of it...at least it did make her feel a little better, in a childish way.
"Enough about me, though! How are you two doing? I haven't had the chance to see either of you in a while, with Prom and whatnot." Another thing she could be honest about; how bad she felt for losing touch.

Sammy could feel something was off about Amrita, she was one of her oldest friends rivaled only by Siddie, Shehk, and Riley. She turned to take a seat on the bed beside the ghoul opposite of Siddie so they could all talk closer together.
"Well if you need them we can find them. No shame asking Mal for help, Jack knows I go to him all the time because Cricket might ask too many questions about what I was up too." She grinned at Siddie, "Extra fear in every bight and made with all the love a ghoulfriend could muster." That was exactly how the cookies tasted to Sammy at least.
The question of them came up and Sammy slid off the bed again turning around to face her rear to them. "Don't freak, either of you, I'm not getting naked buuuuttttt." She undid her jeans tugging them down just enough to expose a small demon mark, a paw print on her hip.
"Remember that marriage contract we signed Sid? I found my demon mark last night in the shower. Guess that makes it as oficial as having a ring yeah?"

Siddie nodded to Amrita. She was pretty sure that Amrita was holding something back, but if Amrita didn't really want to talk about it - well, it would be rude to keep prying, and possibly painful, depending on what had happened. "Okay," she said. "If you need any help, anything, you can text or call, okay?"
She jumped, a dark purple blush blooming on her cheeks as Sammy tugged her jeans down - what in the world was the zombie - oh. "Oh, goodness," she breathed, and stared at it. "I didn't see - er - " She was wearing a knee-length dress today, with several layers of petticoats and an overskirt and bodice; she couldn't check her own hip nearly as easily. She patted her skirts down, feeling as though her face was going to catch fire from the blush. "I guess we'll have to look for mine later," she squeaked.

"I know." That was what she left it as. There was no harm in asking Mal, but she felt bad; the only time she had seen the Plague Doctor was when she was hurt. She needed to see it more outside of pain and patching...and she never really realized it until Calder pointed it out to her at Prom. "I will, Thanks." Siddie's heartfelt offer made her smile, though deep down she knew she could never take her up on that. Not for real anyway.
"S-sammy! Wh---" She realized that her childhood Hero wasn't actually stripping, but her uninjured hand was already raised to cover her face anyway. There was...a paw print mark on her hip? ...Married?! The shock was evident on her face, and it took her a moment or two to even reply.
"Married?! At Prom?! ...Did Aymet---" She already knew that was impossible though. Aymet was undead. He couldn't create Demon Marks. But to get married at Prom...that meant it had to be someone on the Student Council, right?! Her mind whirled. "...Thack...?"

It didn't matter if Amrita took up the help or not, Sammy would force it on her out of the kindness of friendship and love. Well, as long as she found out about stuff. In this case she only had lingering thoughts as to how things went down or what actually happened.
"Yep, married." She tugged her pants back up into place before turning around to enjoy the looks of shock on both ghouls faces. Ammi always did look a bit silly with only half a face and Siddie of course was a lovely shade of purple now. "Well lil missy it might take a bit to find yours under all those layers...." The look on Sammy's face was simply terrible in that moment. Siddie you married a pervert. Amrita you idolized a pervert. Good job you two.
Flopping back onto the bed Sammy could only continue to grin, "Yeah, it was Thack. He was offering them to people and I figured... well I can't really like afford a huge contract right now. Or a ring, or any of those fancy things. But Thack was writing them up faster then you could blink. I added a nice little line about him being our loyal puppy annnnnnnd... married."
She reached over pointing at Amrita, a bone finger inches from her nose, "And what about you missy? Besides being all doom and gloom ill, how was prom for you?"

Siddie stuck her tongue out at Sammy, aware that the other ghoul would probably be perverted about that as well and not caring. Much. "I'm sure it's somewhere." She giggled a little. "Thackery is very cute. He's always a good puppy, I'd say." At the question Sammy posed to Amrita, she nodded; she, too, was curious. "I don't think I saw you while we were there. What did you wear?"
