"And... We're all set! Thank you everyone!" Piles of pillows and sheets were stacked everywhere the family theater within Isha's home. The room itself was normally filled with atleast 30 theater-style chairs, with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax, but not tonight!! All of the chairs were removed in favor of only a few wooden ones, and a ton of pillows, ranging from standard bed ones to couch cushions, and sheets piled high as he stood tall!

Near the exit, to the rear of the room was not only a full sized fridge, filled with everything from Iced coffee, to Juice and sodas, but also full sized nacho, ice cream, Icee, and popcorn machines, a shelf with every single type of candy one could think of, as well as a menu, with a list of items that could be called in directly to the kitchen! It was the perfect place of a Syfy movie marathon, and to kick it all off, the premier of "Sharknado"!

Ooh, he was just so very excited! And all that was left to complete this puzzle was the arrival of his friend! The only person who was invited to this amazing event was the only other person he knew that enjoyed such movies, which was a shame, truly.. And the boy also seemed to be the only one he had met that was looked to be genuinely excited to see him again. When the invitation was returned with a "yes!", Isha could not help but nearly scream into the phone his excitement. This night was going to be spectatcular!
There was the thought that maybe he was only coming over to use him for his things, but that left his mind rather quickly. Tonight was to be for fun! All the stress of this 'other life' he lived was to be ignored!

Tonight, Isha was just Isha, a simple boy who happened to share a love for the outrageous with his friend! And tonight, they would be in absolute bliss!

ChibiGingi
SO excited! I'm totally gonna watch this tonight too!

He had been hearing about this event for months, and despite classes and stress from the other side of his life, Scott Erlea was definitely looking forward to this movie. It wasn't a huge blockbuster like The Avengers or Iron Man 3, but it was something that Scott would probably have equated to in his own reality.

Sharknado.

It sounded stupid as hell, the previews looked bad, and the cgi graphics told all that looked upon this ghoulish nightmare that they'd be in for a rough time. But not for Scott or Isha. No, this kind of movie was perfect for these two, and Scott couldn't think of any better way to watch this movie with than his good friend Isha.

He rushed towards Isha's house, peddling as fast as he could and abusing the hell out of the bell to warn others to get out of his way. Like hell he was going to miss this! He needed some down time, and he wasn't going to let anyone get in the way. Not even his duty to the Negaverse (though he remembered to bring his henshin pen, should one of them give him a call.) When he arrived at Isha's house, he practically jumped from the bike and allowed it to crash land in their front yard as he glided to the front door. He had only just landed when he knocked on the door, and when the urgency of his knocks weren't enough, he gave a shout. "Heyyo, anyone home? I'm here for Sharknadooooo!"

A rather calm man answered the door after Scott's eager knocking. He seemed slightly irritated in his eyes, glancing at the bike laying on the perfectly mowed lawn. Such an uncouth youth was unusual to see in this neighborhood, and yet here he was right infront of him. Despite the irritation, he could not help but smile after seeing him for a few moments more. As a close butler to the family, it was nice to see a new face. Atleast that meant someone here was being social.

"Good evening. You must be Isha's guest. Please, right this way. I will go ahead and put your bike into our garage for safe keeping." The man began to turn, ready to lead him further into the house, but the sound of sock-clad feet caused him to simply side-step out of the way.

Out from behind him came the aforementioned boy, dashing through the house as if he were late for a meeting. The polished hardwood floors below his feet did not provide any sort of friction, and he nearly slid right out of the doorway into Scott! Thank goodness for Door Frames!

"You're here! YOU'RE HERE! Alright!" He immediately grabbed his friend's hand, tugging him on inside. "I can't wait for you to see it! We have enough time to make the fort first, and then endless movies all night, till we fall asleep stuffed with food and what not!"

As he rounded a corner, his hand still on Scott's, he continued to talk, not yet giving the other time to chime in.

"How are you? It's been some time, huh? Are you excited? I'm totally excited! Life has been so stressful lately, it's awesome to have time to unwind, huh? and what better way than surround sound and sy-fy movies with a friend, right?"

There was no stopping his grinning, and even the butler chuckled a bit, shaking his head before heading outside to put the bike away. Atleast the movie room was soundproof.

BTW, the movie was AWESOME. XD

Scott was certain that Isha's butler didn't like him. In fact, he was certain that a lot of people didn't like him. And while he was certain that their feelings were justified, he couldn't be bothered with caring what his friends' butler thought of him. Well, that wasn't necessarily true. On a normal day he would have been more self conscious about being polite and respectful, but today, he had prior engagements and something else on the brain.

What could possibly be more important than Sharknado? Nothing! He should have thanked Isha's father, and he did, though most of it was drowned out by the time the man turned around and Scott scuffled behind him. That was when he noticed the sock-surging Isha, as his butler narrowly avoided the collision, though the same could NOT be said for poor Scott.

Their collision, however, never happened thanks to the door frames, and before Scott's hair could fall flat once again, Isha grabbed his hand and all but whisked him away. Isha had a way with words in the sense that he spoke with so much enthusiasm that it didn't matter WHAT he said, but Scott wanted in on it. He could even be asking him to do terrible things, but so long as he kept that child-like enthusiasm he was on board.

When they entered the movie room, Scott hated to admit that he found himself nearly speechless. Isha wasn't lying at all! It WAS a personal theater! Any thoughts on the movie were gone, as he looked around like a child in a toy store. "Woaaah... you weren't kidding! You have this entire room to yourself? I'm so jealous!"

"Well.. Most of the time I do. No one likes to watch movies in here, but on some nights, I'm kicked out so mom and the girls can go watch 'America's next top model', or so dad and my little brother can watch sailing competitions. They like their own time, but otherwise, It's free for me to use. Then again, I'm not always in here either! I like being outside most of the time though. But Tonight, it's just you and me, and we have the place entirely to ourselves!" With another bit of a tug on the other's hand, he led Scott to the tower of pillows and sheets.

"The first task is the fort! Embarrassingly enough.. I've never built one myself. You know, they liked to have to tents instead.. Easier to clean up I guess." There was a slight hesitation to let go of Scott's hand. It had been just.. So very long since the last time he could just relax, if he let go, maybe it would break the reality he was in now. Luckily enough, even after their hands stopped touching, the blonde-haired boy was til beside him.

"And there are NO radios nearby! I took extra special care of that!" Then again, he didn't even know if they OWNED radios in this house. Every direction you turned there was another iPod jack, and the entire house was wired with unseen speakers.. Isha's parents always DID have an obsession with technology.

"Shall we get started? Or did you wanna get snacks first? There's a menu next to the dispensers!"

ChibiGingi
Awww, It was JUST aired on the 11th.. sad Probs not yet, but I'm sure it'll air on SyFy again soon!

Scott wanted to pretend he was polite and respected other people's tastes, but the thought of this entire mini theater and all of its glory being wasted on America's Next Top Model. He made such a face that he was certain that he'd fail to hide his surprise and slight disgust, but he didn't say a word. After all, this was their house, and what they decided to do with their personal home theater was their business, not his. He was merely grateful to be allowed to share it with Isha for the time being.

He looked to the pile of pillows and sheets, and Isha's admittance almost made Scott laugh, though not out of malice. "Lucky for you, I make forts all the time! It's my siblings' favorite thing to do, after all."

He was patiently waiting for Isha to release him so that he could get started, and without a clue as to what was on his mind or the fear of reality catching up to him, he was blissfully unaware. The moment he was released, though, he moved towards the pillows and immediately got to work, too occupied with his task to have noticed much of anything else. "Thanks for remembering that! I had a huge bump for weeks because of that radio... now, let me see, first we got to put this one here, and that one over there..."

By the time he was done with the fort, he was rather proud of himself, and he was taken off guard by Isha's question. "What dispenser?" He glanced to where Isha motioned, and his green eyes went wide, like a child walking into the magical land of Willy Wonka's factory. He all but slammed himself against the dispenser, his muffled cry that of pure joy. "YOU HAVE EVERYTHING, ISHA..."

The face that Scott made wasn't lost on Isha, who simply smiled quietly to himself. Though he wouldn't admit it out loud, he did find humor in all the catfights and strange photo shoots. He'd agree, however, that it wasn't big screen worthy.

"Well, you're certainly good at it! You could be an architect!" It felt like he didn't even get a chance to go in and help; Scott worked so quickly that he just sat back and started making himself an Icee. No point in working if he's not needed? And the skill that went into it seemed so foreign and fun to him, yet he dare not asked to help. It would ruin the moment! Isha jumped out of his daydream as the other pretty much collided with the dispensers. Geesh! He hadn't known his friend was such a glutton! It was rather adorable to see someone older than him acting like a kid!

"Well, now that you're here I have everything! Food, Fun, and someone I really like to enjoy all of this with!" He handed Scott a menu, before grabbing the remote to switch to the Syfy Channel. The movie wasn't quite on yet, but no reason not to get ready. He wondered for a moment where exactly he was supposed to sit in the fort. What if it were to fall on them?

"If you want something, order it now, and it'll be here when the movie starts!"

Scott mused the thought of becoming an architect, but not for too long. It wasn't that he thought the idea was stupid- in fact, it was quite the opposite. It was just that he hadn't really taken much time to consider his future after he was done with school, and his immediate plans were to go to college, but for what degree or purpose? It never concerned him. Maybe he could be an architect, but he imagined building pillow forts wouldn't quite stack up with the real deal.

Also, his mind was preoccupied with all of the snacks that Isha had, and he couldn't help but continue to express his glee, as he picked out one candy after the other, knowing that he was likely going to deplete his friend of all of his goodies but unable to resist. "Everything I get I end up sharing with my siblings, so, always enjoying all of it with them. Well, if there's any left- I usually let them get their fill first."

Which likely meant the box of Snowcaps would be gone by the time it got into his hands, but not today. Today, it was just him and Isha, and he fully intended on taking advantage of this in the near future. He pressed button after button, before retreating into the fort. He knew exactly where to sit, though, and he pointed to the spot next to him, as he called to his friend, his eagerness clear as day to hear and it took everything he had not to want to bounce around, in fear of destroying all of his hard work. "You can sit here if you want... don't worry, I made it tall enough for the both of us."

"That sounds so cozy... Being able to share with your siblings like that.. It sounds like you are really close to them! Or atleast you don't mind them being that close all the time. It's not like here. Everyone is so distant most of the time, we're lucky if our schedules meet up long enough to sit down for a meal. Even then, it's always so brief. But no matters, life, huh?"

Curiously, he watched as the boy started touching everything he could, gathering up snacks then retreating into the fort before them. Personally, he hated Snow Caps, most of his family did and he didn't understand why they bought them in the first place, but atleast now there was someone who would eat them! Maybe he could convince him to take all of the other two hundred boxes back home with him! Gradually, of course; Isha wouldn't want Scott's siblings to go into a sugar coma because of him..

Gathering all the snacks he wanted, nachos, some popcorn, and a huge Icee, he went into the fort, sitting comfortably beside the older boy. Originally, Isha was skeptical of sitting in a 'fort' to watch a movie. In his mind, it was to be cramped, and they would have to cramp up their necks in order to even see the screen, but it was all wrong! The slight incline of the floor made it so that they could rest back easily against extra pillows, and the screen was low enough that they could just look forward and they'd meet with the middle of it. It was a pleasant surprise! And sitting so close to Scott wasn't such a bad thing either.. They were close enough to feel eachother's warmth, but not enough to make it uncomfortable at all. The only word that Isha could bring to his mind to describe the situation was.. Cozy. Nice and cozy.

Soon enough, the screen began to fill with the opening credits of the movie, and with excited whispers, Isha gently nudged Scott with his elbow.

"It's starting! And after this, we can go through the collection and watch all of the other ones too!"

I just learned that Sharknado is ACTUALLY going to be in theaters. XD I thought that was freaking awesome!

"Well, for the longest time, my siblings were my only friends, you know? 'Sides, when you're forced to live together in a tiny house, you just sort of learn to like them, or else you're life is hell." Scott never really thought about it before- life with his siblings, it was just a fact of life, never really a matter of choice. He always grew up around them, always had to watch over them, had to take them everywhere or include them in his daily activities without a second thought or chance to say 'no'. He picked out everything he wanted and then some, and whatever he couldn't fit in his teenage stomach, he'd bring home with him, to treat his siblings. To Scott, it was just in his nature.

Hearing about the hectic schedules of Isha and his siblings kind of made him sad, and he couldn't help but let it be seen. "Well, at least it's something, right? Besides, must be great to have some down time... I don't really get a lot of that so whatever chance I get, I take. Still, I'd get lonely fast without them..."

He was grabbing the last of his horde of candy when the credits got to rolling, and he wasn't sure how, but he managed to get himself and his gold mine into the fort with only tripping over himself once! Thanks to the pillows, his chin was cushioned when he flopped down, and he recovered quickly, scrambling into place just as the opening title hit the screen. Suddenly, all of his problems seemed to disappear, and he couldn't help but give an excited squee. "Ahhh, I'm so excited! Let's keep a running death count... I'm going to guess, erm... thirty people will die, AT LEAST."

It sounded like such a morbid thing to say, but in these kind of movies, thirty was looking on the optimistic side...

"Yeah, that makes sense.. Mhm.. And free time is good too. I love being outside so it helps to feed that love too." Not many more words came from him as the movie started. Maybe an occasional nod, or a giggle, but he tried to wait until a commercial started before saying something.

As curious as he was about the movie, his attention often came to focus on Scott. Stealing glimpses of him from the corner of his eyes, wondering if this was what it meant to have such a friend like this. Right now, it didn't matter the size of the family, their backgrounds, the difference in social class or personalities. They were just two boys, enjoying a movie together, and having a good time! Right?

About halfway through the movie during a commercial, Isha leaned a little closer to the older boy, giving him a smile.

"You've having a good time, right?"

The movie was about as hilariously painful to watch but awesome as Scott was expecting it to be, and this was only the halfway point! In truth, Scott forgot to count the casualties, as he was too enthralled with the movie to pay attention to that detail, as well as the closeness of Isha. He was grabbing another bag when the commercial started, and Isha's sudden presence near him made him jump, though not necessarily out of fear. Just... startled.

He didn't even take a second to think about the question, and he answered with complete truth. "Absolutely! What's not to like? The CGI is actually pretty good and the acting is no where near as hammy as it usually is. But it's still so campy! I love it!"

He grabbed the bag of gummy worms that he was originally reaching for, and mistaking that look in Isha's eye for hunger, he offered him the bag. "You wanna share this with me? I think I might have ordered more than my stomach can handle, but I really want to eat them..."

"Ah, that's good, that's good! " Then again, what guest would say they were having a bad time? Well, yeah, there were a few he could name that would, but Scott was no where as stuck up and mean as they were.

"And sure! If you get hungry again later, we can get you something else!" He took the worms from him, popping a few into his mouth, before setting the empty box to the side, with the rest of the trash they would throw away later. He felt comfortable around the other; it almost felt natural that he should be here with him. Isha was never a creature of solitude. He loved being around people, but fear moved in where trust would be in his heart.

And yet, Isha couldn't help but move even closer to the other, to the point where they were almost touching shoulders. Though the movie still played, a nearly irresistible urge came to him. He wanted bother Scott with more questions about ANYTHING to do with him. He wanted to find a way to assure that they were friends, that they would protect each other and comfort each other.. He wanted to know that he could confide in the other, his fear, his secrets, because this burden that he was holding in his chest was just tearing him apart.

"Hey.. Scott.. Can I ask you something..? Um.. Something else?" He couldn't stop his hand from coming over, gently resting ontop of the other's.. Whether or not he'd pull away would be left up to chance..

Scott didn't mean to burp, as he feared it would have not only brought the wrong message to his friend and his offer, but would trigger his stomach's outright rejection of the amount of food in his system. He might have eaten WAY too much this evening, but he held it down, tearing open the back and allowing Isha to take his fill. "Thanks... but I think I'm good. I think I ate so much I could just... hibernate. Maybe after the movie's over?"

He said that with a chuckle, but even that made his stomach gurgle, and he hoped his laughter was enough to drown it out. While Isha was struggling with his own feelings, Scott's fight would be with his own digestive track, and he refused to give in. Even when it felt as though someone was trying to fire mortar missiles against his stomach lining, he would grin and bear it, refusing to allow anything, anything disrupt the movie and his time with his friend, his only real friend.

He wasn't sure what startled him more- the strange 'sluuuuuuuurpgurgle' noise that came from his abdomen, or Isha's touch, and he steeled himself tight, fearing that if he moved or unclenched himself that something would have came out... though what end, he wasn't quite sure.

Scott looked to Isha, and only when he was certain that nothing was going to come out of his mouth besides words, he hiccuped, "Uh, sure! Ask me anything... I'll try to answer as best as I can."

There was an urge inside of Isha, one to just... Tell Scott everything. Everything he knew about the whole world he fought in, the troubles that plagued him so much. They were friends, and he was the only friend he had.. He would understand right? Surely the other had seen the news about what was going on in this terrifying city. And there was no way that someone so kind, so amazing as Scott could be anything other than.. Well, someone he could trust.

And yet, before he could say anything, such a bizarre 'sluuuuuuuurpgurgle' came from the other's belly, disrupting his rather depressing thoughts. Instead, he simply squeezed the other's hand a little tighter, allowing himself to erupt into laughter at the sound! Of course, his own body would make such noises at times, but it was such an unexpected sound, and so loud as well!

"I-If you need to use the rest room, it's right out the door, turn left, then the first door you come across!" He giggled, his hand releasing Scott's, in favor of covering his ever widening smile. "Then we can go ahead and either sleep here, in our fort, or we can go to my room where the beds are. Your choice, okay?"

ChibiGingi
I kinda want Isha to tell Scott that he is a senshi, but I have NO idea how he'd respond to that. XD That, or just lean in and plant a fat one on the boy. XD
